“My daughter and I had dinner at Olde Brickhouse in Mankato on July 27th. I had the Brickhouse pasta, which is pasta with chicken, mushrooms and cheese with your choice of the Dijon sauce or maritime sauce. I opted for the maritime sauce. It was delicious and was a large portion! My daughter had a burger that was tender and juicy, but not greasy! The service was awesome and the price was right! I can't wait to go back! Kudos to the chef!!”

“The halibut was cooked to perfection and tasted great. The only thing that I would add would be a little bit of lemon butter sauce on the bottom of the plate but admittedly I’m not a chef.”

“Here for lunch on a Friday with 2 sons and one of their girlfriends. Oldest son celebrating birthday. They made it feel like a real celebration. I was concerned because I have a seafood allergy and 2 of them wanted to enjoy it. They asked ahead of time and the resteraunt was very accomodating without being obvious about it. No worries !! “It's kept clean and a great place to get some food. I cant wait for the food trucks to come back. Swedes was the one there today. I was excited for it! super nice woman working today. The food was not great though.The Pulled pork is very dry. I had the sandwich and the nachos, and took it home. I only live 8 mins away. The food was cold, no semi warm to it. Their sauces are good though, just doesn't make up for the dry pork.”

“The negative comments on the Dining Center are pretty old. They have really improved their food! There is a fresh salad bar, made to order sandwich bar, pasta bar, fresh pizza daily, and soft serve ice cream, as well as vegetarian/vegan options, a dessert bar, and several choices of balanced, healthy meals daily.”

“Best and most unique ice cream shop in town, although I don't discriminate when it comes to ice cream and will eat it from almost anywhere-- Mom and Pop's is my favorite if I can make it there! I can (and have) go multiple times a week and not get sick of it. Also, the servers are always nice and just cool people.”

“My wife and I and the in-laws stopped to check out ummies after going thru the Kiwanis light show last weekend. Of course right before a maverick hockey game and they were packed. We walked Thru and didn’t find a seat open. Gentleman stoped us and said he had 2 tables going to be ready in 10 minutes. So we waited for them to open up and we all were glad we did. Waitress was awesome and food was even better! Highly recommended! Great job to all the staff at UMMIES!!”

“My newest favorite hotspot! My go to is currently closed and moving across town so we decided to stop in here for our Mediterranean fix and it was extremely excellent! The staff was delightful and fast, the food came out expeditiously, and everything we tried was amazing! Their version of the pita is much different than any other restaurant or what I ate daily while stationed in Turkey but it's incredibly delicious! The hummus, pitas, salad, chicken bacon pita, and the Ode to Athens were all to die for! Going back again today for another lunch date and can't wait!”

“Preordered online, and went in for pick up. Didn’t realize until then that they ran out of a lot of fruit teas and fruit drinks so we could only get strawberry fruit drinks. Beautiful indoor backdrop for pictures! Staff was knowledgeable and kind. If you want to order, only option is a kiosk but doesn’t seem like they can program when they are out of certain things.

Parking: Sitting across campus and other restaurants/eateries (Chipotle, Asian Wok, crumbl cookies), bank, and a liquor store, so it can grt busy!”

It was/is always going to be the family first when back in Minnesota and would definitely, without a seconds hesitation drive from the cities and farther for the only best, great, greatest pizza I've ever eaten. “The quality and variety of food offered is excellent. Food is kept at the appropriate temperatures. The staff is very polite and keep the food and dining areas clean. With this management I have never had a disappointing meal. A nice addition is the variety of sushi offered. I highly recommend this establishment and frequently bring guests to it when in Mankato.”

One recommendation: the "honey siracha" sauce option for their wings should not be 3rd from the "on fire" in the Legendary Wings section. The honey siracha sauce is very very mild, and not spicy at all.

“An AI system takes your order in the drive thru. The couple of times I've been here since it's been updated, it's worked well. I like to take a second to look at the menu and always feel rushed when I know the worker is doing many tasks at once. “Docks are on backside of building, inside the building. Nice red rope lights to show you where to back into. Good people, got in trailer right away. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Porta potty inside dock area. Bolt cutters inside if you need them to cut seal. Great experience!”

“It is great to have it in Mankato. I love the chain. However, it has some limits comparing to the experience I have in other location. Because it is a food court area in the mall, it has limited hours and not an option I picked to get quick lunch. Price is similar to other location but served in plastic bowl with plastic utensils (food court's issue again). Food tastes good and my bowl has a lot of noodles, but the broth is not much and hot enough since the noodles absorb it very fast.”

Most places take a name and how many or give ppl a ticket ect., Folks just walk right past others who've been waiting to be seated and then immediately get a seat right infront of others who've been waiting.”
