“On a bike ride off the Minnehaha Parkway, we happened upon Heathers on a warm end-of-summer day. We walked in and ordered a nice beer on tap and relished in their fresh-cut romantic flowers in vases on their outdoor patio tabletops.

The dilly ranch, savory and tantalizing, made the Blackened Salmon Dilly Ranch Salad, a delicate and sumptuous salad of gem lettuce, crunchy radish, fresh avocado and cucumber, sunflower seeds, and pickled onions.

The saucy sumptuous teriyaki made the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, a piquant mouthfeel, a delight of bright green edamame, brilliant pink pickle onions, avocado, rice and fresh broccoli. Delicious!“

“Stopped in for a late lunch on the patio. Was interested in a bitters & soda and the server recommended mixing the rhubarb and cardamom, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed that with the Chix Correa sandwich and a side salad. Wow! Really creative flavors and well-executed. Could tell everything was made from scratch and with high quality ingredients and care. Also the decor was fun and hip, the music top-notch, and the staff kind. I look forward to coming back soon!“

“I didn’t think it was possible but I found what may be my favorite chai. The best part? I tried their apple cider chai drink and it was phenomenal. I had never had anything like that and it was so refreshing and crisp. I ordered it on ice but will have to come back and try it hot. The atmosphere was so comfortable and many people were there getting work done or just chilling. The worst part? I don’t live close enough to be there often but I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m next door getting my haircut in the future!“

“I got diagnosed with high cholesterol when my first child was born. I tried the medications and it lowered it slightly but the doc told me I still had to take the medicine. 3 years later I discovered Dr MOMOH & began studying his lectures. I no longer have high cholesterol, no longer take pharmaceuticals and I lost 60 lbs. What he is saying works if you listen. He tells you constantly it's easy/simple. It is in hindsight, but when you going through it, things can get tedious.“

“Only been here twice so far. Absolutely loved the biscuit egg, sausage sandwich. Absolutely loved the breakfast burrito. Great flavor in both. Great conversation with the owner. The burrito looked small but picking it up, it was heavy!! Great flavor, I'm thinking the beans were well seasoned. Didn't get the chorizo spicy flavor, but that's ok. I could see the meat in the wrap. They know how to make a killer biscuit. It was light, fluffy, and very flavorful. I hear their Cuban is supposed to be good, probably what I will try next.“

“I recently bought an espresso machine and a nice grinder and wanted to find a local-ish roaster to buy beans from regularly. We tried two others and weren't blown away but then I did some research and found Roots Roasting. We bought their Classic Espresso beans online and it took me maybe 2 or 3 shots to dial in and when I did—wow! We liked them so much that today we drove from Somerset, WI just to buy a fresh bag and to try their coffee in the shop. I went with a spiced mocha and my wife got "something fun" and they are both absolutely delicious! We will be back and we will continue to order beans online if we can't make the drive. Really welcoming environment and the neighborhood is nice too. Great job Roots Roasting!“

“This place is the “Cheers” of Lake Nokomis. The owners, Dennis and Mary, make you feel like family and remember everyone’s favorite drinks. The coffee, Nordic waffles, and Greek Chicken wrap, are personal favorites. Pastry choices include Kouign Ammans and chocolate croissants, also favorites. Every morning you’ll see the same group of retired guys, the baby play group, the old friends getting together, a few work meetings, and a couple of first dates. I love this place.“

“We stopped in on Sunday December 14th because we saw a coupon in the MOA coupon book for a free beverage. Never did I think we would have the experience we did. Shout-out to Ty for engaging in conversation with my son and I. He pointed out my son's hat (he collects Pokemon pins) and was so nice and hyped up my son so much. We had a wonderful time and he also sent us home with a bunch of Capital One swag. We have told so many people about our experience and we will definitely be back. “Fantastic mocha. For a mocha, this had depths of flavor and the coffee was a delicious compliment to the chocolate. This place was busy on a Sunday morning. But was worth the little bit of a wait. There is very little seating, so I grabbed my coffee to go.“

“Cute, cozy neighborhood staple in a trendy, busy part of Saint Paul. They have an expansive breakfast menu with lots of sweet and savory options, and their drink menu is impressive as well! I tried the ube matcha iced latte, which was delicious, sweet, and smooth. Additionally (not pictured) I got their seasonal pumpkin smoothie which was sweet, nourishing, and had interesting fresh ingredients (sweetened with fresh dates!) Their lemon ricotta pancakes are huge, served with a generous amount of lemon curd and impeccably fresh blueberries. The texture is great: soft but not underdone, fluffy without being too heavy. We came at a busy time, so while drinks came out quickly, the food was a tad slow. All in all, though, I'd love to come back and try more menu options!“
