“Wow. What a great experience. Our server Priscilla was amazing. She turned around what could have been a disappointing evening due to a longer than normal wait for our food by offering incredible service which is increasingly rare. The creme brulee was the life-changing. So good.“
“What a great place!!! I have been twice, coffee drinks were great - and the live music was so fun. Shows are all ages - so we've brought our 10 & 12 year old and they've had a great time! Thanks for giving the Twin Cities a COOL place for families to hang out without costing $$$“
“My favorite neighborhood ice cream shop! They serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream from Wisconsin and it is the perfect creamy-but-not-too-fatty tasting ice cream. The flavors switch out a lot so there is variety, but my favorite (The S#$t Just Got Serious) is always there. The owner and team are friendly and I always leave smiling!“
“My daughter and I stopped in with no reservation while it was pretty busy and were seated right away. Our waitress was awesome and the service was fast. I got the Pork Belly & Biscuit- very delicious! My daughter got the Chicken Biscuit and she loved it! She isn’t a fan of honey but loved the hot honey that came with her dish ( she had it on the side to make sure she would like it). I was also impressed the coffee drink selection. Such great varieties! I had the Pistachio Cardamom which was so delicious. Also ordered the March special to go which was the Lucky Green Dream Latte- very delicious as well! Definitely stopping again when we are back in the area!“
“My family and I recently went to luminary and loved the place! It is cozy and we liked the theme. We tried several pastries (cinamon swirl, chocolate raspberry cone, and a chocolate croissant) and they were all delicious. We also all loved the coffee we got! It has been hard to find a spot with good coffee as of late and this spot was definitely one to save with great drinks and a great experience. The only con is there isn't a ton of seating and the place, seeing as it is so good, gets busy.“
“I was feeling adventurous so I ordered the Bluebeards Ghost and It was glorious! Slightly salty, a little spicy, and the Vanilla brought a subtle sweetness. I ordered it a second time and added sugar and totally ruined my drink, don't be like me ?Kid-friendliness: My daughter always gets a vanilla steamer when we come here. It makes her feel like a big girl which is pretty cute.“
“I love Rafiki! The owners are so welcoming and intentional about knowing their customers. They remembered my name after the first time they met me even with weeks apart from my second visit! Great large room for bigger meetings and small tables for individual workspace. Unique food & drink options that are similar to what you can find at any coffee shop along with their own unique spin on drinks as well. Try the African tea, it’s delicious and well spiced!Parking: There is a free lot adjacent to the space, but is shared with other businesses so at times it can be difficult to find street parking that is close enough.“
“I wish everything up on the hill were as perfect as Nina's. On a weekday morning this place is packed with people from all walks of life. A lot of students park here and take up tables just with them and their laptops which is my only gripe. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to wait a bit for drinks because it is very popular.“
“Love their coffee & matcha! Have been to this location many times & the staff is always so friendly. Unfortunately that is a rare occurrence at some of the twin cities coffee shops ? Had a good time chatting with the employee working! Thank you SK!“
“This Wildflyer Coffee store offers a satisfying range of quality brews in a great ambiance. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. While the selection could be slightly broader, the overall experience is delightful, earning it a solid five stars.Dietary restrictions: Good selectionsParking: Decent parking adjacent to the store and play street side parkingWheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair access“
“This place is tucked away near United Hospital between 5th and 7th in StP. Since my partner doesn't care for breakfast food for breakfast, the diversity of LA Fusion's menu was perfect for him. Their full menu was available at 9am.Samosas, Kenyan bowls, crepes, burgers, salads, smoothies, quesadillas, lattes, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes oh my!ordered the beef samosas. My partner ordered the chicken quesadillas. Both came out within minutes.Three crispy samosas with a jerk dipping sauce (you have a choice of several different options)YUM! Well stuffed full of beef with a perfect crunch. The quesadilla was huge. He could only finish half and took the rest home for lunch.Very clean place. Huge drink menu. This was our second time visiting and look forward to exploring more of the menu.Parking: The paid lot has spaces designated for LA Fusion at no charge.“
“Nestled in the heart of Midway, Workhorse Coffee Bar proved to be a hidden gem awaiting discovery. My daughter and I stumbled upon this quaint establishment on a crisp morning, seeking respite from the bustling streets outside. What we found exceeded our expectations and left us longing for more.Upon entering, we were greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting warmth of the cozy interior. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of modern chic and rustic charm, with exposed brick walls adorned with local artwork, complemented by the soft glow of pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. As we approached the counter, we were met with friendly smiles from the baristas, whose passion for their craft was evident in every cup they served. After perusing the menu, we decided to indulge in some breakfast bites to accompany our coffee. The selection was diverse, featuring both sweet and savory options crafted with care using locally sourced ingredients.I opted for the chocolate cookie, a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. My daughter grabbed a gluten free cookie that made her smile light up the room.Workhorse Coffee Bar is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a haven of warmth, community, and culinary delight. Whether you're seeking a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely breakfast bite with loved ones, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Workhorse Coffee Bar. You won't be disappointed.“
“What a treat! Cafe Astoria offers an exquisite blend of immaculate vibes, tasty food, and unique beverages, both hot and cold. I highly recommend the Athena Omelet Wrap and Mexican Mocha. Seating was surprisingly ample! We were expecting to have to wait on a Saturday morning, but their spacious interior and friendly staff made for a very smooth and pleasant experience. Hope to be back!“
“Fantastic little coffee shop with a great atmosphere, delicious menu and neat merchandise all at reasonable pricing and easy in and out access! The service there has always been phenomenal and prompt with a friendly greeting. The cinnamon roll twists are deliciously simple and my Redbull infused flavor drink is great. We've purchased a few coffee cups from there as well with neat branding. Will definitely be back!“
“Stopped into Roots this afternoon and tried their cappuccino and green tea. Both were quite nice with the cappuccino being delightful. We tried a croissant as well and while it was a bit denser than I’m used to, it was still quite tasty and went well with both drinks. The store itself is a bit small but clean and well lit. Will definitely go back whenever possible.“
“The atmosphere feels like home. Comfortable, light music in the background, a true community space.Conveniently located on the corner if University/Dale.The Marley is perfect for warming the vocal chords before a show. A favorite is the Electrical Lady; sure to get you through any Zoom meeting.“
“Very cute place, I got the St. Paddy's latte 16oz (coconut and dark chocolate) and it was so yummy! A singular woman was up front taking and making orders, and did her job well! The pastries looked huge and delicious but I haven't gotten one yet :)“
“I ordered a sugar free decaf skim coffee drink and it was among the best I’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and personable and worked hard to make my order right. The space was cozy and had a number of places to sit even during a rush time.“
“Stopped in for a croissant and after that one I had to get more to take home! Also enjoyed a few other treats and some friendly employees. I hope the St. Patty’s croissants are available next year as well because they were seriously AMAZING.“
“Man this place well Gravy Babies on the weekends is sooooo good everything I ate was on point I had smothered pork chops, smothered steak and candied yams collard greens with turkey neck and cabbage, rice cornbread and cake was all the way off the chain have to make it her at least once on the weekends, worth the money I promise you your gonna like it“
“I orderd the 6 inch Nutella cake for my wife's birthday. She and everyone at her party absolutely loved the cake. We loved it so much, we were so eager to cut a slice and forgot to take a picture before we did! We will definelty come back to Equisite for our cake needs!“
“I usually get to Dunn Bros. on Saturday mornings to get a cup of French Java or another dark roast. The building is old, but has character. Art for sale on walls, cafe table, chairs, an old stage, and even a coffee bean roaster in the corner to admire. The locals are always there chatting, studying, or killing time. The workers are always smiling, friendly, quick to assist, and get the orders right. The place gets its fair share of interesting people though and that can make for some entertainment.“
“The Coffee is absolutely incredible, got to spend my morning talking with Sean and I was struck in awe by his love of the beautiful characteristics in the simplicity of coffee.Keep up the amazing roasting and you have a life long customer now!“
“Having numerous earnings from Mrs Mariel Ramsey trading platform is a life-time experience, with the capital of $1,000 I made a successful withdrawal of $12,500 after 7 working days, now I'm creditworthy!, Never before have I seen a broker so dedicated, hard-working and yet still tenacious at the same time, keep up the good works! contact Mrs Mariel Ramsey for genuine trading and fast profit payout without any issue.“
“A truly memorable experience! They host tastings quite regularly to help each brand promote its products and connect with the consumer directly. They have a huge selection of THC products from beverages to edibles. There is something here for everyone. Highly recommend!“
“This is a coffee shop, not a full restaurant and they make some really nice coffee drinks with ingredients you don’t find at chain coffee places, like bitters and molasses and cardamom. The speciality coffee drinks are around $6-8 dollars but are worth it. More worth it than paying that for something at the Mermaid place. They have seating, but it is a small place, located inside of an entire building with other things in it. The building recently put in an old time arcade, so we went to Five Watt and had delicious coffee drinks, I think one was called Bee Sting if I recall. Then there were old pinball machines from the 80s and 90s around too in the hall areas of the building. The barista who was working at Five Watt was great. He was really nice and their speciality coffee drinks are amazing.“
“We had a cinnamon pull-apart, a white lightning, and a seasonal gingerbread latte. The white lightning looked nothing like the advertised pictures and also had no vanilla flavor. The espresso tasted burnt and it was overall an unenjoyable beverage. The gingerbread latte had no recognizable gingerbread flavor but instead tasted like a standard latte with a dash of cinnamon. The espresso tasted far better in this drink but it was still underwhelming. We enjoyed the cinnamon pull-part most out of what we ordered, however, it was still quite dry.The service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was lively with excellent decor.“
“Randomly stumbled on this spot a week or so ago and was glad I did, the people working here were so genuinely engaging and friendly, it caught me off guard in a good way, chatting and getting a coffee was a great moment in my day that day. I didn't know what to get either but the barista working suggested something specific they liked drinking and it was delicious. Strong espresso and could taste vanilla, lavender, etc. def not any watered down anything, and it was not expensive which I appreciated.“
“Nice place! If you live in the area it’s easy to walk to. If you’re in the area for the farmers market, it’s also east to walk to! I recommend the maple cold brew and croissant club sandwich. Each time I have been in for coffee the barista verifies my drink changes to be sure it’s being made right. I really appreciate this!“
“I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm so glad there's a place for fancy pastries right down the street. I've never had a dessert I didn't love. Thanks for being in our community and making tasty treats, LDB!“
“We enjoyed every part of our dining experience at Momento last night. The employees are welcoming, knowledgeable and oozing with pride and excitement. We thoroughly enjoyed trying foods we've never had before and felt well informed by our server Kevin. We ordered three shareable plates: Meze, Brussels sprouts and peas & toast. We even left with a recommendation for breakfast in the morning. The colorful decor, including many plants and fresh herbs complimented the experience perfectly. We tried to tell everyone we met that night to come try it out as we might not make the 5 hour trip back for some time.“
“Christopher does an amazing job managing this Caribou located in the Securian financial building in Saint Paul's skyway system. Their friendly staff will remember your name with a smile. Once a regular, I no longer frequent their MSP Caribou due to the change of their loyalty program. With nearly 7,000 points, Caribou devalued my point value. No Bueno.Parking: Horrible. They are located in the skyway system of downtown Saint Paul.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, via elevator.“
“I love everyone that works at the West Side Flats Starbiez ☺️ I feel like i’m cheating whenever i go anywhere else & everywhere else sucks at making my drinks! ? Everyone’s so friendly and welcoming, me and my friends’ pups approve and appreciate the stars & location of this starbz ☺️?“
“Interesting location, beer is good. Parking is best done on the street or in the lot across the street. Parking is a challenge when the game business in the same building is busy. Like a Sunday afternoon ? They were great and let the girl scouts sell cookies. Great space with lots of options for seating and a wall of games to use while there. Saw many tables using those.“
“Wonderful coffee bar in a beautiful, St.Paul neighborhood. Coffee was great and so was the service and snacks. Perfect place to sit and reminisce with friends, work on your laptop, or just sit by the window and watch the world go by with a warm or cold coffee drink. 5-Stars out of 5“
“Long wait midday for a simple cuppa. Only one barista (she was good but a tad overwhelmed by the number of customers). Music was chill, but the cement floor and hard furniture made it a bit loud and easy to overhear talkers even if you wouldn't want to. Coffee was ok and not tepid as is sometimes the case when you get pre-prepared brewed coffee. If you have wheels there are better choices; I suspect the clientele included many people from adjacent apartments.“
“I regularly meet up with people here and have a good experience with the friendly staff. Small space but there are some good tables and comfy chairs to sit at and it's not too bad to have a decently private conversation - usually there's enough bustle and noise to cover that up but not be overbearing. I appreciate the good coffee and the breakfast sandwich options Caribou has. Thanks!“
“Finnish Bistro Coffee and Cafe in Saint Paul is a hidden gem. The cozy Scandinavian ambiance, friendly service, and delicious coffee make it a delightful spot to start my day. Plus, their Nordic-inspired pastries are a unique and tasty treat. Highly recommend for a cozy coffee experience with a touch of Finnish charm!Parking: It depends at what time you visit this place.“
“Cute, most of the plants are real.Good coffee/cookies, would eat again.Cold. As in the longer I sat there the more stiff I became. Granted I was by a window.Asked the barista what the wifi password was and she responded by aggressively pointing in a corner and [sighing] obnoxiously. Thank you for your incredible hospitality mam.“
“Great spot for a quick meal or pastry, we liked our chocolate croissants and we had an egg salad sandwich. Service was quick on a Saturday afternoon. It was a bit full and loud for seating so we sat in the common area of a few other businesses and it was comfortable and quieter. We look forward to trying more on the menu!“
“Ginkgo Coffee House in Saint Paul is my favorite local gem. The laid-back atmosphere, friendly vibes, and aromatic coffee make it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Their commitment to quality shines through in every sip. A must-visit for any coffee lover in the area.Parking: It depends at what time you visit this place.“
“I’ve had my tries at local and nation wide places and find Ding Tea to be the most pleasant delicacy of tea and boba texture. My all time favorite and need my tea fix often to satisfy the boba cravings! Always quick with service and each associate can deliver the same awesome taste every time!!!“
“Almost all the reviews here mention what a wonderful experience it is to sit down and chat with Carl, and I can second that. It is a much needed community-centric shop with dang good coffee (I had the Rev. MLK Latté). I'm not a person of faith but I felt very comfortable there and will return.“
“Have been shopping at Ha Tien since they opened. They recently completed upgrades to the store and would say they have become one of the best Asian grocery shopping experiences. They have a great meat & fresh seafood counter. Actually saw frozen wild boar as well. You will be hard pressed not to find what you need here.“
“The employees are wonderful - so friendly, always ask for perks and always smiling. They have the same group of people that work there and they all seem to really enjoy it. This location is right by my work so I'm there frequently. When I go to another Caribou on the weekends it just is not the same. Great coffee + awesome staff = the best Caribou store in the Twin Cities!“
“If you drink hot chocolate, you know that Caribou's can't be beat. After all, they make the drink with REAL chocolate and steamed milk; Starbucks and the other places' cocoa doesn't even come close! The service at this Caribou - and Caribous, in general - is great: attentive, quick, and accurate. This place has changed a lot since it was an Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips back in the 70s. It's not one of the cozy-with-fireplace Caribous but it welcomes all types and has lots of outdoor seating with great people watching.“
“Great food, wonderful service. Recommend the Greek Omelette - unbelievable. Largest side of bacon I've ever had and perfectly cooked. Oddly, for being named the coffee cup, the coffee is on the weak side. But once the food arrives who cares.“
“My birthday party was at Pajarito in Saint Paul last week. We had about 25 in attendance. The staff did an excellent job keeping drinks flowing and the food refreshed. They were friendly and easy for my husband to work with on the planning. The food was good and we were able to bring in a cake. Thank you!“
“Hands down the best pizza in the Metro area. Crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful. And it's consistently the same delicious pie, time after time. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great after their remodel. And the prices are beyond reasonable. This is the way pizza used to be, before there was a shop in every strip mall in the world.A+++“
“This adorable cafe blends in so well with the neighborhood I almost missed it. So glad I didn’t, though! The space is clean and tidy and there are a few tables to sit and enjoy a beverage. When it got busier, staff brought out additional seating to accommodate. I enjoyed my chai tea latte and the message on the milk foam added a fun little twist. Street parking only, but it wasn’t too hard to find a spot. Would visit again and definitely worth the trip!“
