The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with love. The Arepa Pro and Chicken Arepa are some of the best I’ve had, even compared to back home. Perfectly cooked, generously filled, and absolutely delicious.

“Came here for the cool atmosphere and cocktails but what wowed me the most was the unbelievable food. Every dish we tried was delicious and unique. They put in your food orders one at a time as you need them so the food was fresh and hot every time it came out.

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“I go to Minneapolis every year for Vikings football. In October I went to Norseman for the first time. I arrived just as they were opening, about 12 noon. Had a great time and loved the whiskey. I ordered a sampling of four drinks and had lunch. Enjoyed the service and the people. So now back in New York, I ordered Norseman whiskey online. I'll be back next year. SKOL!“

No matter where you get seated it will feel cramped and you will be really close to your neighbors. “Ate at Oliver’s for the first time this morning. Not good. First had the supposedly spicy Bloody Mary. Not spicy at all, not worth $8.99. And I don’t prefer real spicy. Next had the eggs Benedict. OMG I could have fit both eggs on one half of the muffin and still not covered it. The ham, if that’s what you want to call it was something I’ve never seen before, thinner than bacon and tough. The hollandaise sauce was the worst. It is better in the pkg from the grocery store. Will never be back. The staff was very nice.“

“Just went here for drinks and small plates and really enjoyed it! I will say it's a lot darker irl than in the photos, so I'd suggest sitting at a booth or at the bar. Those spaces appeared to have more candles n lights. Also, the door is in the back of the building, don't go through Porzana. I had a couple drinks, empanadas, and dessert. Everything was tasty. Yes it's a spendy place, but I feel like you do get what you pay for. Will definitely come back to celebrate some occasion soon.“

I went there for a work lunch, and the vibe fit very well. We had a Smash burger with a pickle, a chicken sandwich with a small portion of coleslaw, and a salad. Substitutions were able to be made easily and came out correctly. Just so you know, entrees not coming with a side is something you need to know in advance. The food tasted very well, was well-flavored, and had a good portion size. Overall, very good experience and would come here again for any occasion. The outside seating looks great for the summer.“
