“AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING !!!I have been coming here for years, (since the American fries) and this is definitely my top number one breakfast spot. I love the family atmosphere. I took my husband today and my server was Sue, let me just say she is truly phenomenal at her job! Her communication is top tier, fast service and delicious delicious food! I want to say, THANK YOU for not changing your portion sizes due to the food waste. It absolutely angers me how people can possibly waste food here. The portions are out of this WORLD and definitely worth every penny you leave with plenty extra, full stomachs and don’t break the bank! How much better can it get? The only recommendation I have is please please please I beg you bring back those spectacular American fries PLEASE I BEG YOU!! You guys are amazing at what you do. Thank you again! You have customers for life. -Kaiya & Branden <3 ♥️♥️ and p.s Sue, keep doing what you do, you are greatly appreciated and seen!!!“

“It is the best place to find the Indian food. We are traveling from Chicago to Minnesota on the weekend and this restaurant is the best spot to enjoy the morning breakfast dosa and Chola bhatura . Ambience, Taste, quality and quantity all are five out of five. God bless , running very good business and giving the best customer service as well. Must try one time.“

“What an experience, I wanted to splurge my better half of 22yrs and booked our 22nd anniversary dinner here last September. (late on the review)Food: Both our stakes were cooked to perfection, the bread plate is something to look forward to and the recommended wine was perfectly matched to our entrees.Service: The service it self will make you want to come back, the minute you walk in you are being greeted and complimented. Every person that we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary, they even had heart confetti spread out on our table (did not look tacky at all). At the end of dinner they brought out a complimentary desert plate. I am not at all a desert kind of person but the cheesecake that they had was something I continue to think about and will most certainly will not forget. For a couple that can't do these extravagant outings all the time, it was an experience we will never forget.Thank you all for the great service and for making us feel so welcomed and not at allout of place.“

“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.“

“We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget! For that, we THANK YOU, JAX Cafe!!!“

“We ate at the Oceanaire, on a Saturday. Reservation was at 6pm. Sat immediately and greeted right away. Farrah was our server and she was amazing. She has been there ten years and knew all about the menu and seasonal specials. Had great recommendations and obviously knew what she was doing and talking about. We will definitely request to sit in her section upon return visits. She made our experience absolutely fantastic.“

“We ate here in celebration of a birthday and it was perfect. The decor is light and colorful. The stained glass art near the bar was beautiful. Loved the giant fish art and glass coral-lIke lighting. We were seated at a booth for private conversation. Very cozy and lovely Our server was wonderful. Never rushed us. Walked us through the menu. His suggestions were right on. We started with the crab cake and shrimp cocktail. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktail sauce with the shrimp had a kick to it. Very fresh. For my entree, I chose Barramundi. It was served with spinach and white beans. The nice crisp on the outside of the fish combined with the rest of the plate provided a lovely mix of tastes and textures. Very good. All others enjoyed their entrees very much. We shared a side of lobster fried rice but my meal was enough and I didn't try it but all others loved it. The sides are perfect for sharing. We finished with two desserts. The chocolate one was described by our server as 'count chocula-like' and he was right on. The marshmallows and crispy chocolate coating on the mousse was decadent. We also had the praline puff which was huge. Very light and tasty. They offer valet parking but we found street parking right across the street on a Sunday night. It's definitely a higher end restaurant. Our bill for 4 was over $500 but it was an exceptional experience in atmosphere, service, and especially the quality and taste of food. We will definitely be back. Loved it.“

“Met here for dinner on a weeknight. It's a good Vietnamese restaurant. Not sure if it is a must try place but a good spot if you're nearby. They are known for their egg rolls at the MN State Fair and Reader's Poll Award in 2022. Vibes & Aesthetics * A casual restaurant with lots of space! There is a private room that fits about 25 people. Might be a good spot if you're needing a space like that. Our Order * Vermicelli salad (egg roll) - I thought there was too many egg rolls on top. I also like my salad more wet (so more dressing) so I threw my egg roll sauce in. * Egg rolls - My friend ordered the egg rolls. If you don't know, Vietnamese egg rolls are larger and the wrap is a rice wrapper which makes it extra crunchy. * Cream cheese wontons - They seemed fried for a little longer than I'd like. They also have green onions in them so the flavor is quite strong. * Pho - My friend ordered the pho and liked it. It doesn't come out appetizing because there's a lot of cilantro floating at the top. After mixing, it was good! Service * We were well served. I did find something in my water and kindly asked for a new cup of water.“

“First trip to Little Canada's Porterhouse, and I can say it was perfect. The drinks on point, the appetizers prefect, and the main course of steaks and king crab legs was also perfect. Dessert was also delicious and a great way to cap off a fantastic meal. We've long eaten at the Lakeville location, ( which is close to our house) which has always been excellent, best place in Lakeville to eat, and it's not surprising, but this location held the same exact standards of excellence.Out with a good friend tonight so we skipped pictures.“

“Solid menu. Food prepared well. Reasonable value. Sarna's isn't alone with the trend of crossing a sports' bar with a better menu, so the issue may be more with me for not embracing that trend instead of Sarna's for employing it. Food is very, very good.“

“I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.“

“Went to try the birria tacos. Our group decided to share a few items for more variety. Had never had pupusas, we tried three flavors. Birria tacos were amazing. Pupusa were also very good, liked adding the slaw and sauce for more depth. The flautas were huge servings. Beans were the best I’ve had in the cities. Tasted just like my friends moms beans from Mexico. Ended the evening with the churro which were also incredible. Fresh with a hot sweet center. Great prices, very clean and inviting sit down restaurant and couldn’t beat the service. Beautiful back drop for photos at the front. Can’t wait to come back.“

We indulged in a feast of culinary delights, including the mouthwatering soup dumplings, tantalizing hot and sour dumplings, flavorful scalded chili handmade noodles, and perfectly crafted scallion pancakes. A special tip: don't miss out on trying them with the chili oil for an extra kick of flavor!Overall, our visit was nothing short of exceptional. From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the delectable dishes, this tea house exceeded all expectations. “I don’t know much about Pho. I don’t think it’s for me. My daughter loves pho. So we checked out PHOEVER.Fast service, lots of options. Very tasty pho. I liked it. Large portions. We also got the pork egg rolls. Those were very good.If you like pho, you should check out PHOEVER.Parking: Parking in the ramp behind the building is probably easiest. Free parking. Otherwise the free lot across the street has plenty of parking also, but it’s a pain, and dangerous, to try to cross.“

“Sidewalk Kitchen is a name that does not seem obvious to have Chinese cuisine. I think they are a solid takeout and eat in when I am crabing some Chinese food. A friend of mine from China recommended this spot. She said that it had options closer to what she would order in China, so it was more authentic to her. One day, I ordered some garlic coated string beans with white rice, an order of fried chicken wings, and #76. Szechuan Spicy Diced Chicken with fried rice. The service was decent and attenive, the food was flavorful, and the portions allowed us to have seconds. For two, the bill was also reasonable. When we asked for some soy sauce and hot oil, the flavor of the food definitely was enhanced. The food tasted fresh and appeared to be fresh off the press, so that makes me happy to know that things move quickly through this place and they have a steady flow of patrons in the University of Minnesota area.“

“My coworkers and I pop in here when we meet up for drinks after work. The food is solid and the drinks are always good. It's kinda hidden where it is right now, but with the buildings that are popping up around it it should get more traction. They have a patio for the summer and a clean space to eat and drink inside.“

“Found this spot 2 years ago and we (coworkers) have been going regularly for lunch ever since. We've tried a few things off the menu, but the main thing we're ordering is the beef noodle soup "pho". IMHO best 'dark' broth pho in the area! --probably because there isn't any other spots within a 5min drive from our work place. I mean we have tried other spots further, but nothing has beat this spot in terms of flavor. There's probably 2 that are close, but none has us wanting to go back for more. Service-wise you can expect the expected. On busy days, service is slow. You can also expect that sometimes food will take 15+minutes. It's also possible you might have to grab more napkins on your own if you need more. It's also possible you might have to ask for more water as well. What I'm saying is, the service is there. They're all friendly and nice people. Do be warned though, you might hear the aunty be demanding sometimes to new workers. The place is nice. Situated between a small pet store and a sports store. I don't think any of the tables are wobbly, but don't blame me if there is, personally, we've only really sat in a few booths and tables. They've got plenty of tables. I don't recall any music, but I do recall just a slideshow of their menu on repeat. Just sneaking in my 'ambiance' piece. Anyways, pro tip: if you're trying to grab a quick lunch and dine-in, you can order ahead of time on the phone. Another pro tip: during lunch hours, lunch special portion is a good option if you're not able to eat a whole entree by yourself. So if you see something you want and it's on the lunch special, give it a go. Just some info on things I've tried: Khao Soy is one of the best I've had in the Cities, unless someone can point me to a better spot. Chicken Lettuce Wrap is . Spicy chicken wing is hit or miss, but when it hits, it's . Don't expect the Pad Kra Pow to be like your typical Thai restaurant - this one is a light stir fried version without the fried egg and without the minced meat. Rah Nah is real good. Fried rice is . I highly recommend this spot. Note* get your spice levels correctly. Be warned, mild can be spicy.“

“I tried the beef fat noodle dish. The crunchy noodles are so good, and then they soak up the savory sauce. I will be craving this dish for some time. Service was excellent, place was clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was its spendy. $18 for lunch.Parking: If it’s busy, you can park in the next lot.“

“Casual seafood restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating available. Many happy hour/ lunch specials are available and affordable.I had the lobster roll and off the special menu a fried cod fish taco. The (cold style) lobster roll was beautiful and packed with meat, served with really good Frenchfries. Although I felt it was a bit bland, I would order it again. I would try the hot one next time. It is pricey, they usually are. It was 32.00. The fish taco was great! (5.00 no sides lunch special)My service was great. I didn't catch his name but he was very pleasant.Parking: It was difficult for me to get close parking, there was a lot kind of near. I'm not sure if it was free. Eventually I parked in a paid street spot very close.Kid-friendliness: It's not a kids' place. But I could see on the inside it comfortable to have lunch there in the booth area with them. It is a big bar atmosphere with many high tops. So those aren't ideal. If the weather is good, outside seating would be better.“
“The older guy at the register is just happy taking money from blacks they do this in every community. He doesn’t smile very rude (smug looking) he doesn’t seem pleased to be there. The guy with the glasses is more welcoming. They obviously just there for the money“
“We stopped here on December 24th looking for fresh lutefisk and were pleased to find we could buy a 5lb filet. The lutefisk was amazing I was told and in the future we will be sure to call ahead and place the order. The manager was running back and forth with several options before we decided to just buy the 5lb filet. I can say I was amazed, they cooked it in the oven and when I returned that evening I could hardly smell anything other than the usual air fresheners we have in the house. So thanks again for helping keep a Christmas tradition alive and hope the girls hockey team does great.“

“The go to place for dim sum. Family owned with a younger kid running the restaurants which always means the food is amazing. The dim sum menu is voluminous with the traditional dishes. Servers don’t walk around with carts but will walk around with plates of food. Hard to find that nowadays with the traditional carts. The food here is always fresh and busy. Definitely recommend to everyone!“

“First time trying this place. Food was delivered to my job. Both the chicken and fries had lots of seasoning. The chicken wasn't dry but the seasoning as you can see was put on pretty heavy in same spots.Fries were limp and soft. Again decent with the seasoning. I recommend a try if you're looking for something different than popeyes or KFC.“

“My favorite dim sum place-only available early on weekends but it's my absolute favorite. The dishes range from small to large. Small being less costly and large being more expensive. This is my dim sum fix the ingredients are so tasty and refreshing. They have a about 30 plates worth of dim sum here. My favorite is their congee (they have 3 types), taro cake, lava bun, and the siu mai is crazy juicy good. The service is pretty nice and speedy too. I like the ambience as well. It's very clean but it can get busy ofc cause it's great! :D The waiters are super attentive and great at getting your order. I love the competency and speed in which they fulfill your order by crossing off things. I will say sometimes the water gets missed but it makes sense cause they're super busy. There is this one favorite waiter who kind of recognizes me as I eat there a lot. She's honestly great, and super sweet. Thanks Sister!“

“This place is a restaurant \\u0026 bar in a hotel (Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis North). But the atmosphere is good, served beer is icy cold, foods are are hot and tasty (at least for me), what else do we want? If I might add, the waiter was welcoming and friendly. Maybe it might be a little bit pricy, but I liked it.“
