“The birria ramen is in a class by itself. I dined at the Uptown location and the food was excellent and the service was great. Even with a language barrier we worked it out! “So I have drove by here at least 100 times in the last 2-3 months. I have wondered, I have mentioned it to the boyfriend, and I always kept going cause they looked so busy. Tonight we stopped!! It was so worth it, I thought I had ordered something other than what I got, (I did order what I got) but they offered to get me what I wanted to order, I'm so glad I said no I will eat this, (the Carnita Torta) it was amazing and so filling. I can not wait to try something else. Let me mention as well it was within an hour of closing and we were welcomed in as if they just opened. (That is so impressive these days.) Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The price was right, the food was amazing, and the service was so welcoming I felt like I had been going there for years, come to find out they just opened this past May 2022. Panchos really reminded me of a place I went to while in Cabo... Keep up the great work. We will be back sooner than you think cause they are open for breakfast too. If you haven't tried Panchos yet, stop what you are doing and go! Go for Breackfast, lunch or dinner! You will not be disappointed.“

“Finally found a Mexican restaurant as good as the taquerias in California! The carne asada was well seasoned and the campechano taco with cactus was amazing. The California burrito was extremely large and had a sauce and cheese on the outside of the tortilla - that was unexpected. It also had BLACK beans, not mushy pinto beans!! A couple of the salsas had a good bit of spice to them. Definitely recommend!! Each table had real flowers in a little jar - that just goes to show that they are doing that little bit extra to make it nice! Also enjoyed the fried ice cream.

Parking: Parking is shared among the strip mall businesses. Although the parking lot was busy we got a spot right by the door

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. There is upbeat Spanish music playing and the inside just has a fun vibe in general

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a bit of a tight L corner with an inside and outside door. I can imagine this could be hard to navigate unless the doors are held open. All the tables are fairly low down. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side - one room with one toilet - with a standard door not a wide door“

“Wow! That brunch buffet was fantastic! I'm from Texas and this was pretty close to the Mexican food I'm used to. Definitely going again and I'm bringing friends!“

“Strawberry coconut dream is quite sweet definitely a good balance of coconut and strawberry flavors (heavily). Tacos are on the larger quantity side. Sesame Chicken taco is crispy, tangy, with a good kick of spice. Al pastor taco is good, tangy with the bit of pineapple. Carnitas taco is very savory and juicy. The corn tortillas are nice and soft. Definitely have the sesame last because it overwhelms the other flavors. The sweet corn cake is super soft, a very light cornbread flavor. Elote is good, simple and yummy.“

“I ordered from the app in Circle Pines store at about 11:30 a.m. and then I waited for a little bit and asked if they got my order and they did not apparently the app when you put ASAP puts in its own time which was 11:53 they didn't have any orders so I'm not really sure why they didn't start my order but I had to show them the receipt and then they figured it out it was well worth the wait the burrito was very good way better than Chipotle and much bigger and pricing is great!“

Food 'Molcajete Mexicano' was packed full of flavor and Jorge (bar tender) who waited on us was EXCEPTIONALLY kind; made us feel more like family vs patrons. “Love this place! I always have a shredded beef dish of some sort. I know it's homemade as a couple of times I have found a bay leaf inside my burrito or taco. Good thing I always add a bit of salsa to my stuff and check. I love sitting at the bar and trying the 3 different salsas that are available as a help yourself buffet style along with delicious chips. Love the margaritas but now I am spoiled, I tried one with Milagro silver tequila on the rocks. It is excellent! The Columbia Heights locale is my favorite, and I have tried each of the others! I have yet to try the patio in the summertime, so I can't tell you about it. The stained glass windows are amazing! Busy bustling place! I love it! And the staff is excellent! If I want to change an option on the menu, the staff is very accommodating. I would give this place 5 stars! I always take family and friends to La Casita Mexican Restaurant - Columbia Heights, MN when they come to visit!“

“So my friend told me about this little unassuming taco joint, and I decided to try it. Omg, the food is on point! Tastes like homemade. The ladies were very sweet and enjoyable. I was nervous at first because it's tiny and dated, but the food is amazing, and the sauce they give you on the side is so good. Two tacos, a tamale and a drink, only cost me $12! You don't find these prices anymore. I'll be back and I'm bringing friends!“

“All three of us went to dinner tonight and had a truly memorable and excellent meal. We had not been to Salsa à la Salsa since they were on Nicollet Avenue and now I regret that we have been away for so long. I had the Pollo en Mole Poblano, H had the Pollo con Napolitos and J had the Tacos de Cameron. I’m a real fan of mole, but I don’t always love every mole I have. This was one of, if not the, best moles I have ever eaten. It was absolutely sublime. I used my tortillas to sop every last drop of the exquisite sauce! The black bean tamal that came with my meal was as light as a feather and just melted in your mouth. H’s chicken dish was flavorful and very tender, and the frijoles negro were expertly prepared. J tried both and said they were both delicious, but she really loved her shrimp tacos. The corn tortillas must have been freshly made – light, soft, perfect. H had the pineapple tamal for dessert and J and I had the orange flan. It was honestly the best Mexican food we’ve had in a very long time, and the best meal of recent memory. I honestly could have eaten that mole all night long. We won’t be waiting nearly as long for a return visit. 10/10!“

“Food was excellent ! Prices were a little high but feel it’s 100000% justified considering every single thing is hand made. All the sauces, salsas, tortillas, etc. Had carnitas gorditas that were so light and airy, and red enchiladas with proper homemade sauce. Will definitely be back.

“They asked for a tip when we ordered but they called us to get our food when it was ready, and they got very angry because we didn't clean up our table when we were done. When we told them that's why we tipped them, they told us not to come back.“

“I truly think this is the best Mexican food in Anoka County! Both locations! Ham Lake location is inside of the BP gas station right off of Constance and 65, you can eat inside or get takeout. They have their own app which makes online ordering a breeze! I feel like this is the best hidden food gem around, I’m assuming people either don’t realize it’s there or are turned off because it’s located inside of a BP. But it’s actually an adorable set up inside the BP and not weird at all :) I give this place 5/5 stars! 🌯🌮💕“

Nachos al pastor is a particularly generous portion (I had already eaten half of it in the photo) and perfect to share. Chips are made fresh in house. Sit and enjoy your meal at the counter, then get back to your day. It's worth the trip.“
