“If anyone would like a good restaurant to eat at I would suggest going to the North Pole restaurant in Newport Minnesota. The staff are nice and when you ask them for something they will get it for you right away.“

From the perfectly cooked fish and juicy chicken to a fresh variety of nine different salads and a dessert table that felt like a dream—everything was incredible. But the true star? The prime rib. And yes, I got the coveted end slice—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was phenomenal—warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. What made it even more special? “We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“So happy to see Dark Horse open and vibrant again! We couldn’t choose what to get, so we ordered an extra entree so we didn’t miss out. The chicken sandwich is a must, the mushroom burger was the perfect comfort food, and the meatballs/pasta was the perfect entree to make sure we had leftovers. If you like a creamy Caesar dressing, you’re going to LOVE that as well.

The deviled eggs with shrimp was awesome The six of us all had something different from the scallops to the walleye to the salmon all fantastic. “We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. It was slow so I would think that more attention would be placed on the customers that did come into this place but nope. It's kinda like a self service restaurant where the only interaction with the staff is when they bring out your food and drinks.

“Really good experience at the Culver’s in Woodbury Minnesota. Doing curbside and a shake tipped over in my car and the guy who brought it out was nice enough to go get towels and a new shake. Definitely did not have to do that. It was completely my fault, but he went above and beyond For customer that is a rare thing to find“

While Culver's is a chain restaurant every location can be different. This location is one of the best.

I stopped with the gals and we ordered lunch. The restaurant was clean and bright. The tables and chairs were freshly cleaned. The bathroom was neat and tidy.

We were greeted quickly and with a friendly smile. Our orders were taken and we headed to the dinning room to sit.

Everything came out shortly and everything was made to order. Nothing missing or made incorrectly. The burgers were delicious and the fries are some of the best anywhere. The chili was amazing as well.“

“My family we love coming here. This is the 4th time we are here. The services at the front, take us to seat and serve us all great. They open the door for us to go in and coming out. They love kids and okay with my 2 years old baby girl walk around because she don’t want to sit. Our server and the manager come ask us all the time if we need anything. I like how they did this because it make myself feel comfortable and at ease eating in the restaurant. I like how they come take our empty plates away so our table is not full of plates. “The food here is always excellent! Quick, hot, and pretty reasonable on the price! We always get extra fries because they’re so dang delicious! My boyfriend always gets the Philly cheesesteak.

My favorites are the tenders and the fried fish! Only thing that hasn’t been as good as I’d are the shrimp, they’re sometimes a little on the soggier side, but I think that’s on me for not getting to it fast enough.
