“Great small sushi and ramen shop. We got the stir fry ramen, steak ramen, spicy girl roll and dinosaur roll. All was delicious. I ordered my ramen spicy, which was the perfect amount of spice, just enough to make your nose run. The spicy girl roll was indeed pretty spicy. The dinosaur roll was my favorite, though both were good. Definitely recommend.“

“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“

“I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. However, this is a ghost kitchen in a sketchy area. I don't recommend walking from downtown after dark, and definitely avoid Currie Ave. The locker pickup system didn't work that great and I had to wait around for about 10 minutes even though my order was supposed to be ready when I arrived. And the staff are basically hiding in the back...“

I actually felt like I was taking advantage of the place. The menu includes so many options; the rolls looked beautiful and tasted even better. The sashimi pieces were large and delicious. The fish all tased very fresh. It wasn’t terribly busy but our server Lulu checked up on us just as we were finishing our serving to see what else we wanted so there was a steady stream of food coming our way. She was very friendly and happy to answer questions. You do have to finish your servings though. Like, it is actually policy. Not a problem, though. No fish gets left behind! If you love sushi then you really need to come to Samurai. I have tried almost every place around and this has been one of, if not THE best of them all and easily top of the list for the price!“

The sauce that was included may have been for the veggies, or may have been for fiancé's order of beef w/peapods and mushrooms...either way, there was plenty; and it was wonderful on my rice and veggies! I can't think of the name of the bog salad- but on the regular menu it says it is a honey citrus vinegarette, and the vegan menu says citrus vinegarette, even though there is still honey in it. “Food was absolutely delicious. The all you can eat menu is reasonably priced especially for everything you can get. All food is made to order so you can always gaurentee fresh hot food. Service is impeccable, they are very attentive making sure to get your next order in so you dont have to wait with out food and drinks are always full.“
