“First time going and I received the wrong sandwich. I asked twice what it was but I couldn’t remember everything in the sandwich I actually ordered so it’s on me for not getting the correct one. All in all, food was good and so was the coffee. Fast service, good food, and friendly faces made the experience worth going back again!“

“I visited Rebecca's Bakery with my husband and daughter today after a doctor's appointment for our daughter. We looked online to see what was nearby and wanted to try this place. I see why they have a Google rating of almost 5 stars! The service and food are exceptional. The gentleman who took orders and served food took care of us like we were family. He was very warm and kind. My husband and I had beef tibs with injera, kale, and avocado salad (very large portions!), and our daughter had a huge stack of pancakes with a lovely bowl of fresh fruit. The gentleman even offered her whipped cream which made her day! We also had a latte and an americano. The food is high quality Ethiopian food (we've eaten Ethiopian food at other places) and the coffee is good and strong. We loved our experience here and we'll definitely be back! We took some Tiramisu and a fruit tart to go. We haven't tried them yet, but they looked amazing!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian/Vegan options, Gluten-Free options.“

“I went to Cream and Amber for the first time this weekend and I was impressed the reviews did not oversell the experience.A friend recommended I check out this cute reading café, so I gave it a shot. What I found was a lovely space with an even more welcoming staff. It was clear the people running the show are the same people who could want to spend their time there. It is a cozy space with appropriately lively energy - many familiar greetings and warm conversations to provide a comfortable background for reading. ♥“

“We stopped for breakfast and everything was awesome. Chilaquiles with Birria and a Chorizo breakfast burrito were both flavorful and just what we were looking for on our search for a good breakfast burrito. Plenty to eat and both salsas were great as well.“

“The food was genuinely amazing, best cafe/Diner hashbrowns I've had in YEARS! and the server Mai was extremely polite and pleasant to interact with. Most meals are close to 15$ which might seem slightly pricey but it's genuinely worthit for the quality of the food. The coffe while simple is delicious as well, if you get some 100% get their reccomended house made French vanilla cream with it, it gives it a dulcé de leché flavor and is a 10/10 on flavor.“

“Grabbed coffee and a breakfast sandwich with some friends over the weekend. The sausage, egg, and cheese croissant was so good! I had an iced caramel latte to wash it down. It's on a corner and the inside lends to a lot of character and not a cookie cutter place like a lot of new shops these days. The staff were super nice and helpful! Definitely will be back to spend a little more time and chill with a book and coffee.“

“I loved my Dolche de Leche latte! It was sweet enough without being over powering. I liked the banana bread loaf as well. Street parking was easy to find too! My only complaint is that it gets super busy and has limited seating. I came to sit and visit with a friend and we waited for seating and it was fairly loud. Once it calmed down, it was the perfect environment to visit. I also found the staff very kind and calm despite it being so busy! I would visit again any time!Parking: There is a hill on the side of the coffee shop where it seems the majority of people parked. The neighborhood also has a lot of space to park. Parking on Penn is limited due to a large 30 min parking area, but I found this to be the best parking.“

“Third Space is incredible. We held our wedding dinner there and the staff was so great in all stages of planning. The ambiance was exactly what we wanted. I love going back for their specialty lattes. And their wall of plant cuttings is especially adorable!“

“The food and waitress were great. The atmosphere is also lovely and ambient. Our first impression coming in here was not. The hostess was very passive aggressive about us coming in a little late and very rude in her comments to us. Coming to spoon and stable I had high expectations of the service, but after this experience I am not sure I will be back.“

“An awesome spot to grab a coffee, meet a friend, or get some work done! A decent amount of street parking available directly adjacent to the coffeeshop. The shop itself is very lively, colorful, and well-decorated in records and other music themed goodies! Service is always friendly and quick! I went ahead and had the Banana Creme Latte which was DELISH!! Something eclectic and well-done, just like this cafe!! I'll absolutely be back for more WFH days!“

“Vanilla latte was beautiful but wasn't sweet enough for my garbage palate. The sourdough pancakes were good and served with real maple syrup. The mushroom biscuits and gravy had an interesting type of mushroom, but the gravy tasted very floury.I would return to try the toast flight, and maybe a biscuit sandwich.“

“This is such a cute cafe with amazing food! Counter service with self serve water. The staff was very friendly and speedy with my food. I highly recommend the pork. It was soo tender it just fell apart. The seasoning was subtle with just the right amount of saltiness. The rice and beans were bland but were a good carb to soak up the juiciness of the pork. The sweet plantains were perfect in every way. They had beautifully crunchy bottoms from being fried. The arepa con queso was good. There is a sweetness with the butter and maybe in the corn masa itself. Its very dense and rich, i would recommend splitting with a friend if possible.“

“It’s a 4 degree Fahrenheit day in Minnesota and there is no better way to spend the morning than visiting a coffee shop. I stumbled upon Up Cafe. What a treat! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Background music adds to the great vibe here. This is one of the easier-to-get-to coffee shops in Minneapolis as it is near the hustle and bustle of the city but situated in a quiet neighborhood not far off the beaten path. They make a crave-worthy oat milk latte that I will come back for!Parking: This coffee shop has ample, no hassle street parking and a small attached lot.“

“The last two words "Coffee gallery" perfectly describes the coffee shop! It's cool seeing the different kinds of art work, also two huge plusses are there's plenty of tables and there's a parking lot!! For the amount of people that were there it wasn't super loud either! Will for sure be coming back again!“

“Middle of the road coffee shop. Attached to art studios. One small seating area is pretty cozy but the rest are a little bland and don't have windows, but they are doing the best they can with the space they are in. Food is made on the spot and is better then you might expect. I go loaded breakfast burrito every time and love it. Staff is hit or miss, but they are never rude.“

“Haven't been there in a while but I'm so glad to see they are still there. Great coffee, service(quick and efficient) and the atmosphere is THE best I've ever experienced in a coffee house. The staff is friendly and so are the customers. Outside seating is great. I love that there are spaces, on the street, reserved for motorcycles. Prices, for a coffee house of this caliber, are inexpensive. I used to live in the neighborhood and Bob's became my go to. Thank you.“

“Met a young man who was very curtious. I had trouble reading the menu because my vision isn't good. He read the menu for me and even explain the coffee profile and flavors. He was the only one working. 10/10. I would recommend this place. It has a cute little corner to enjoy coffee as well. I would love to enjoy the view but i am crunch on time and have a flight to catch.“

“It's decent, and they have a pour over. I don't know that this is the best roaster in the city. The pour overs were all on the weak side, and the beans I bought ended up being a little rough. I like the place and the people there were nice. I don't know that they have their roasting dialed in, however.“

“This place has the makings of a great coffee shop that has the atmosphere to bring in travelers and locals alike. The only thing missing from this place is OUTLETS. There are a minuscule amount with only a few spots allowing a charging port. Being that coffee shops have historically been correlated with working on personal computers, it has become quite expected that there is enough places to charge said devices.“
“New Rules was an amazing and affordable option to host my recent show "Planet Venus" highlighting femme & queer artists. I enjoyed both hosting and in the past attending the events here. “I went on a Sunday for brunch with a friend. The food is very yummy. I got the berry waffle and although there was only one waffle, it was huge. I love the berry to whip cream ratio. I also like the fact that they have you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you which makes the process easier and more efficient. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of lot and street parking.“

“Super friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. Lots of tables to spread out and work. A whole back area as well, which features more space and a stage. There was an open mic the night I went, which was great! But also, if you wanted to work and not hear the performers, the whole front area was apart, and had a door that shut for quiet during working.“

“You can get a delicious veggie burger or the same burger with a beef patty. We had the fries, brussel sprouts, french onion burger and the “philly cheese steak” made with mushrooms and it was ALL delicious! Owners were great and they even treated us to a pie for Pi day on 3/14!!! Great and unique wine list was also fun. Prices were great and tip was included!“
“Best chapati in the world is found in this little coffee shop. Not to mention the chicken soup, which is so hearty that it will open up your nasal passages. Plus I like the fact that they have now renovated the place, which was much needed, although the building is old as hell.“

“My date introduced me to this place. I love the Hot Chocolate and the Dirty Chai Tea. I had the chocolate cake as well, and it was rich and delicious! The service was good. Nothing too exceptional. The drinks were made in a timely manner. And the barista was nice.I love the dichotomy between the upstairs and downstairs area of Caffetto! The downstairs portion is my favorite! I love the graffiti and pinball machines! It's very aesthetically pleasing, and it makes for a fun place for a date!“
“This is a relatively small coffee shop that is pretty full on Thursdays and Fridays (days they are serving fry bread) during the lunch hour. Great frybread taco! I really didn't think I was too hungry but ended up eating the entire taco which is the size of a personal pizza. We didn't have to wait long. The staff was very friendly and interacted with the customers even after they had gotten their food. Laughs were shared with strangers and there a quite a regulars that make it feel homey. Its a very community driven spot. I got their wifi on my phone but then couldn't connect on my laptop. There are outlets available. I would say this is a lunch spot more than sit and work on your laptop place. Plenty of street parking as I feel the parking lot was quite small and may be hard to get out of.“

“Munkabeans Coffeehouse in Hopkins has a warm, fresh, homemade feel. From the blueberry muffins cooling on the counter to the local artists’ work displayed on the walls, the coffee shop has a neighborhood vibe that is very inviting. “Old school hippy coffee shop with amazing pastries; small & cozy with shared tables, crowded on weekends. Mini pizzas, danishes, lasagnas, savory scones, Cuban stew…If they run out of what you wanted by the time you order, try something different because that will become your favorite thing. Good place to meet up with your vegan or gluten free friends. The long line moves quickly. No off street parking but has a bike rack in front. Their bread pudding and cinnamon rolls are meant to be shared with a friend or taken on a long hike so they can be enjoyed sitting under a shady oak contemplating your life’s purpose.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options“

“I was here on Sunday morning and ordered a drip coffee, which it turns out they don't have, but the kind barista made me an INCREDIBLE americano instead and truly it was so good it inspired me to write this review. “It’s been awhile since I visited Hard Times (City Pages was still around when I last went), and I realized I forgot to write a review, so here we are…Hard Times has a great vibe. Feels rooted in community and is unpretentious and radical. The food was pretty good, but the quality isn’t on par with Modern Times or Seward Cafe in my opinion. I appreciate the vegetarian/vegan options.“

“The Somali tea (kind of like sweet spiced chai) here is so good and affordable and their smoothies and sambusas are delicious. If they have any of the house made juices when you go in, you definitely don't want to miss out on them (especially the watermelon). Usually pretty quick service but sometimes it takes a while for someone to come to the counter when you first get in. TVs are loud and it's not too comfortable in there so I usually take it to go but overall great place.“
“I can't think of one thing I have eaten here and have not loved. My faves are the Summer sandwich, Turkey BLT, and the broccoli cheddar soup. Oh! The flatbread pizzas! “Stopped by their for lunch today. The special was a Mediterranean bowl with a side and drink. You can pick the toppings and choice of rice, veggies, beans chicken or beef. Different sauce options are available too. The bowl was tasty. I went with the beef and tomato rice with all the toppings, tzatziki and spicy sauce. Instead of chips, I chose fresh fruit of which there were three different choices. The place is small for seating inside but the building has a common area with tables. The staff is friendly and courteous. At just under $12, this was a very filling, tasty meal and quick.“

“Alma is the best little neighborhood coffee shop/cafe/goodies trove. The pastries are *chefs kiss, everything is honestly great.Keep in mind that the griddle and the coffee bar are small spaces, and when it’s busy you might have to wait a little bit for your order. Give them time to cook up the masterpiece. It ain’t starbys! The barista can only pull 4 shots at a time—that’s one large drink. The staff is super friendly with a lot of personality. It’s the perfect place to pull up, hang out, have a snack and sip some caffeine. Highly recommend!“
