A little bland on the inside but the sauce and outside were decent.Service was a little slow and the pop was flat. Great portion for the pasta. Had leftovers for the next day. The quiche portions seem unusually large, but they are $12+ and come with a small side of greens (the dill dressing is definitely the highlight). The squash soup seemed unusually thick, more applesauce-like than soup-like, but the taste was delightful. Kitchen seems slow: when we visited, a patron who was leaving as we arrived commented that the food takes forever to arrive but that it was worth it; we can definitely confirm that.“

Although I was only taking-out, I had an opportunity to talk and look over the menu with an employee, explaining what each item was and what it had on it. I never eaten here before so I didn’t know what to expect, but both the people I talked to were extremely helpful. I ended up getting the Naughty Greek wrap with a side of fries. It was almost a Mediterranean burrito style wrap, the chicken, Shawarma was super juicy and flavorful, and it paired well with the veggies,feta, and Taziki. The only thing I didn’t like about my wrap is I asked for no olives and there was olives, however it was still delicious. The fries are light and airy, but super crispy and seasoned perfectly with a savory salty spice blend. One of the people I talk to let me sample out their lemonades, and help me decide which one I wanted. They were very patient and helpful and I will returning back soon.“

“I enjoyed The Colossal Cafe with four of my friends for brunch on a Wednesday. The cafe has a nice selection of food that isn't offered at other places. I had a Korean Beef Bowl. The bowl has more spice (for Minnesota) and I loved the big and kimchi. I only wish it had more kimchi and less rice. I also ordered the sourdough bread with blackberry-rhubarb jam--delicious!The waitress was able to split the check and was very good--she gave us just the right amount of attention. So fricken fresh and spicy! We got the totchos (exactly what it sounds like and DANK) and the firehouse 21 burger. We ordered it medium, didn't come out pink but it was so damn juicy and tender I don't even care.Overall, 10 out of 10, no notes. Even the burps taste good.“

The owner agreed to host my 6 year old daughter and a handful of her friends for a tour and baking lesson for her birthday because she wants to be a baker when she grows up. “I'm a staunch supporter of restaurants blazing the trail for tipless pricing as it tends to be more equitable for staff and simpler and more transparent for all. Brasa is tipless, saying it pays its workers $16-25/hr, and it does everything right: delicious rotisserie chicken (pollo a la brasa), tasty sides (the spicy creamed spinach wasn't actually spicy hot, but it was tangy and creamy), fast service, and reasonable prices---remember, no tipping expected. The two-piece rotisserie plate is $15 as of this writing and is enough to satisfy most appetites. An excellent deal for food this delicious and well-prepared. The décor and vibe is very nice too.“

“This is a very nice restaurant that is located inside of the hotel, they have a very lovely dining area for guests and a warm fire place to sit next to and have a cocktail/drink. We decided to go there since they serve food until 11pm and everything else was about to close on a Tuesday night. The Cajun pasta is yummy and their Tuscan chicken soup of the day was more like a warm hearty chicken noodle, I recommend a bowl instead of a cup. The wings were very very delicious! We always ask for extra crispy, which came out amazing! Haven’t tried the Hawaiian but the Spicy Diablo dry rub isn’t as hot as you’d think. I actually I enjoyed the ambience more than anything; quiet, inviting and elegant. Would definitely recommend to locals or anyone out of town!
