“Went for 🌮 tuesday taco where good just not very hot. served on paper towels witch made them a bit soggy and didn't retain heat like they would on the metal plates. It was super to have Larry's hand pinned tacos. The chicken taco were not good but I think could have been think the chicken was bad or close to it. The owner or manager needs to manage an get things in order bc it was busy but no organization so staff was not efficient an you could tell the were all running. Inefficiency make staff work harder not an with frustration.“

“This place is one of the few bars I've been to that feels genuinely relaxing. The atmosphere is incredible with vintage decor, there's often live music from touring and local musicians, and ample space to sit and talk. The staff is fast, friendly, and kind. “By far my favorite little lounge in KC. It’s just a short 5 minute walk from my apartment so the convenience is there. I love the retro aesthetic mixed with modern design, and when there’s a DJ it adds even more to the experience. My drinks are always great and the customer service is attentive and friendly. The little burger truck outside, Disco Burger, is sic a fun and amazing addition on those tipsy nights you’re craving a good burger. My friends and I LOVE Varisty Club, and our favorite bartender is Caleb. He’s always so nice and efficient with us. Such a vibe. I would give 10 stars if I could.“

I know that cowardly Corey Owens, whose business is PaintingSolutionsSKC, a painting company with what he and his wife think is a “clever” logo featuring two intertwined Nazi swastikas, left you a bad review for requiring vaccination for your customers during that dangerous time and I just want to commend you and thank you for doing your part to protect fellow Americans. Stubby little Nazi coward Corey can’t even spell “riffraff” but I’m glad you made sure he knew he was a piece of it. You are not alone; crappy Corey is coming after my community too, focusing weirdly and troublingly on victimizing our children. Nazi Corey is both pathetic and dangerous and needs to be kept out of places where decent people go. Good luck and thank you again for your courage and strength.“

“Great date spot! It gets a little crowded on days like Valentine's Day or Saturdays, but the patrons are generally very understanding and won't hog Ms. Pac Man for too long. That being said, they rotate games frequently and the staff is very nice. And it is a 21+ only bar, so that is a plus.“

“Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

No food unless a pop up vendor. Super unique, very plant focused, smallish service bar but all the necessities!

“Backstage Bar was easily one of the best spots I’ve been to in a while. The vibe is laid-back but still lively, the drinks are excellent, and the whole place has that kind of atmosphere where you end up staying way longer than you planned.

“VERY Small but the people and employees are Awesome!! They have a great choice of music on the machine but they also pay and play it for their customers too. I loved playing darts and meeting a couple new really Sweet People. Did I tell you it's a SMALL Place?.. Just so you know! But, you will have fun. They have beer, drafts and liquor drinks. If not busy then its fine for wheelchairs. Otherwise I recommend going elsewhere. I went 2 nights in a row, during Santa Caligon Days. Had a Blast.“
