“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“Food was good, service was good. Music was really loud and not what I consider relaxing dinner music. I decided I wanted a piece of cheesecake to go after she gave us the receipt in the folder and she never came back for me to tell her. I asked another server who directed me to the bar. Ordered and it took ten minutes to get it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but we had my MIL with us in her wheelchair. It came and was the Tiniest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever been served for $10 😳. I would recommend skipping dessert and go buy a whole cheesecake at Dierbergs next door for the same price and less wait.“

“this was the best “bar food” ive had this quality of the food was well above bar standards. i jusf had a cheese buger which was alittle pricey when we looked at the menu but after getting our plate the size of the buger was great just hands down the beat buger ive ate out. well worth the price“

“While I'll still recommend it...I did go to the Twin Oaks location tonight and they had taken the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup off the menu. 😢😢😢 I just had it there a few weeks ago. They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.“

“Just had my son’s 7th birthday party there today and we had a blast!! We had a party of 30 and our server Katherine was amazing! We always had our drinks, our food came out fast, and she was so sweet to my kid. She was really helpful with all the things I needed. I’m sure she had other tables but we couldn’t tell. We were there for about 4 hours and she did great the whole time. My friend told me she wants to have her daughter’s birthday there and is planning on requesting Katherine as her server. “I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

“Almost every single person we’ve interacted with here has been so incredible - from the front desk (specifically Brandon who explained there’d been a mixup and so they went ahead and upgraded our room before we even arrived; and who patiently answered all of our questions during our stay) to sales (Sarah, who put on another hat to serve us coffee and breakfast, and sent us up a gift because we had to change back to another room on short notice from the hotel), to the engineer who came and kindly vacuumed up some Japanese beetles from our room and assured me he would release them unharmed, to the charismatic bartender who let us order food even though the kitchen was closing. There are several other folks who’ve been wonderful, and I’m sad I missed their names. The facilities are stunning (you must check out their rec center, I’ve literally never seen anything like it at a hotel) on top of everything else. I wish we lived closer or had more reasons to travel here more often.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“
