“My wife and I enjoyed stellar service. We we're greeted immediately and had our drink order in just a couple of minutes. We thought the menu had plenty of selections, as we were looking for something quick and light for dinner. Our order was brought to our table in a short amount of time. Compliments to the kitchen staff. We had a French dip sandwich with onion rings (an up charge from the regular side options). The sandwich was very good, but nothing to write home about. The onion rings were crispy with just the right amount of breading and were not too greasy; super good. The atmosphere was pleasant and seemed appropriate for a hotel restaurant. The prices seemed about average for this type of restaurant. Satisfactory. Out server was attentive throughout our meal, conversational, but did not overstay or hover. overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Nice neighborhood bar. My family has been coming here for years and I've been by more often since moving closer to the area.Their food is delicious and the service is quick and friendly. I've been there for happy hour, dinner and drinks only. LOVE their mac n cheese bites with homemade ranch. YUM. They also make an excellent white russian at a very reasonable price!I usually sit inside at a table - the seating is pretty close together but you can still move around easily. They also have a nice outdoor patio I'd like to try next time.“

“Nice little spot on 5th st. Food was well portioned and flavorful. Prices were good as well. Drinks were good as well definitely get the 27 oz margaritas! Only downside is my burrito was a fajita burrito and it was full of green peppers not many red pepper, onion or chicken so maybe a little more variety to really lock in the flavor. The chips and salsa was good I've had warm thin chips that were great at other restaurants these chips felt like nacho chips you would get at a concession stand. But definitely not a deterrent!Over all this place was great!“

“Leah Kate and Dillon were a trio made in heaven. I don’t usually step outside my comfort area when it comes to trying new restaurants, but I’m so happy I did. Not only were the bartenders friendly and quick witted, their drink knowledge was beyond expectations. Dillon the manager was attentive and made sure our expectations were met (even exceeded!!) if I’m back in chesterfield I will make sure to visit them again! (You should too)“

“Food and service was incredible. Steve went way and beyond to accommodate many dietary restrictions for us. We ordered pizza, salad, and bread for 20 of us for an on-site. Food was amazing and loved by all! You must get the Saint Ambrose pizza! Could not have been better! Truly.Vegetarian options: Many great vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free. Have their own isolated convection oven.“

“I love Narwhal's. Great variety of frozen (ADULT) drinks. Nice atmosphere at both locations. I always get a flight (you get your choice of 3 frozen drinks). Nice place, always a chill / fun environment. The St. Charles location has a "Loaded Nacho's" restaurant that you can order from and have them delivered to you while enjoying your drinks at Narwhals. The Crab Rangoon nachos are a tasty treat!“

“Being from out of town, I was not sure where to set up a get together for a large group. Angel and Jessica took care of all of our needs, exceeding any expectation. From the food to the service to the outstanding fun, you can't pick a better spot than the Req Room. Do NOT miss kareoke night!! - Steve.“

“Judy does a wonderful job with the bar and makes everyone feel comfortable and safe when out for a good time. The Pub is probably my favorite bar ever, but then again I might be biased as I have many friends and family members that have all frequented the place in the past as well as currently. But it really feels like an extension of home every time I visit.Parking: Park in front or around the side and if you have to you can even park in back.“

“Coltranes has always been a pretty laid back place. The place has been around since I was kid. During the day it's not real loud or anything. They have 2 pool tables and a few golfing machines. If you're looking for a place to relax, be able to talk without yelling and enjoy some food then this would definitely be a place to check out.“

“We have been to this bar for years. It's very much a part of our lives. It's a small, unassuming place with a pool table, few games, and a jukebox. The narrow setup can make it feel crowded at times but most of the time it's comfortable. The people are friendly. The drinks are inexpensive. The vibe is always fun! Fyi they do allow smoking like a lot of bars in the area.“

“I don’t write reviews. It’s an incredibly rare occasion when I post something like this…but damn was the nightshift deluxe pizza worth the admission. Definitely in the top 5 if not top 3 pizzas all time, and I’m a fat retired Army guy that’s been around a bit and have had a lot of pizza. Well worth the visit for their Provel cheese that makes the thin crust pizza work. This is the first thin crust that breaks the top 10,5 and 3. Great atmosphere if you like a good neighborhood bar, I would go out of my way to visit this place again that happens to be by a hotel I’m staying while going home to take care of my Dad.“

“PROS: Wonderful food! I highly recommend the zucchini, eggplant parmesan, and tiramisu!CONS: Service is usually good, rarely it’s not, but it does happen sometimes. Also, don’t sit in the front by the bar during the cold months - it’s freezing.“

“Love this place! We have visited many times. Love to ride our bikes from St. Charles on the Katy and end here. Great selections of beer & kombucha. My go to is the margarita flavored with a smokey tequila & grand marnier with the tajin on the rim. Soooo good! The bartenders are always awesome! Comfortable and laid back.“

“I love Mexican food, and I've been here previously with a coworker bit wanted my wife to experience the place.This is more than a restaurant, it's a destination! The food and service were excellent my last time here. Although on this visit, the service was very slow, and my wife's Quesadilla was way overcooked.Every place can have an off night, I'll say this was their off night. We will be back. The carne asada was outstanding!!!“

“Great bar to enjoy delicious pizza and drinks and play a wide variety of pinball. The owners are awesome and always there to make sure their machines are in tip-top shape, and it's CLEAN!!! If you enjoy pinball, you should consider joining their league! Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Their sister bar (The Silverballroom) is a must visit too!“

“Tried one of the RFT's top 5 that has the distinction of having been honored multiple times for serving the best St. Louis-style pizza in the region — without actually using Provel. It had a great crust, the cheese and toppings were good, too. It was ok, but you couldn't taste the sauce. I would definitely try again and ask for more sauce.“

“Not sure how long this establishment has been open but it's located inside Plaza Lanes Bowling Alley which has been open since the 1970's. The bowling ally is clean , bright and updated and had 24 lanes , a pro shop and Tubby's has a full bar.The service was fantastic and the ambiance was great.They have a varied menu and Steaks and pizza are some of their specialties. I had the Tubby burger and it was fantastic, I/2 pound seasoned perfectly and cooked just how o wanted, topped with American cheese, pickles and onions served with tubby fries( thin cut on sight). Definitely worth the visit.“

“In town for the weekend, about the only place to stay in St Louis for location and comfort. Especially the central location . Comfortable, well appointed rooms , lots of space, great view of downtown St Louis in the distance. Highly recommend.“

“What an absolutely divine bar. My husband, brother-in-law, and myself popped in here for a couple of late night cocktails while walking around St. Charles. Kubrick’s was extremely welcoming, wonderfully decorated, and they even had fun drinks of the month. I have a deep appreciation for the aesthetic of this spot, and the bartender was extremely friendly. Please do keep in mind that if you do not like cigarette smoke, this place may not be for you, as smoking is allowed inside. We will definitely be back when we are in Missouri again next year, visiting my in-laws for the holiday!“

“Had lunch today. Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides for a lunch special. $ 9.95 The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection and green Breana were so good best even. The service was fast and friendly. Great neighborhood bar.“

“Update 9/2023: This place still rules, and the new wave of beers are better. If I lived just a little closer, I'd be here far too often. There's now a touhou release in the viewlix, Outrun still rocks, and there's plenty of other games to mess around with. They're moving to a larger space soon, can't wait to see what else they'll put out. Maybe they have a Mr. Driller?This place rules. Outrun 2, initial d, some viewlix cabs with exa arcadias (one tate which is breathtaking, one horizontal), some old candy cabs and plenty of classics. The neo Geo had the recent xeno crisis release in it - awesome. Pinball machines looked fun but I didn't even make it there. Beer wasn't anything out of this world, but they were good and lived up to their names.Some of the controls had been spilled on and not yet fixed, which is unfortunate but I guess should be expected. They have tables next to every machine for your drink, but people always find a way to ruin a good thing.Location is great, easily accessible off 70.“

“Stopped in on a whim Friday Night because I see the place off Page Extension all the time. Glad I did, the atmosphere of this place fits my style. Chill, with nice friendly staff and patrons. “We rented the private room from Katie at Rec Hall for my wife's Birthday and had an absolute blast! Katie was incredible to work with. She was accommodating and gave great recommendations on what we needed. The place is so much fun; I strongly recommend it.“

“Went here to hear a friends Band play. Wasn't expecting Smoking. Aside from that they serve coke products (had a diet coke that was mostly ice), and the loud music between the Bands set not too bad of a place. Would I go back again...probably not, smoke, coke, loud Radio music.“

“This place was so much fun. They had numerous group games like shuffleboard (table and floor), darts, bocce ball and ping pong (and more) and washers and cornhole outside. The specialty drinks are about$13 and well worth the price.The only thing I wouldn't recommend are the bathrooms and the food. Everyone has different tastes though, maybe you'd like the food.“

“We've only been to this place once so far, but I'd give it more stars if I could. We live fairly close to this bar and I'm shocked we've never been before last week! The drinks are reasonably priced, well made cocktails and cold beer, and pizza! Our bartender was sooo friendly (sorry, I don't remember your name!) “Spent the remainder of our St. Pat's day up here to visit with friends, listen to live music, watch some pool sharps, and enjoy the libations. Both bars were open, and Pam and Brad in the back bar took great care of our group. We had a wonderful evening!“

“Being I'm a truck driver from out of time I stopped there for a drink and food and they was very welcoming there. Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf??But that fish platter ???. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good. “I love this place when I visited Florida the staff may now have spoken that much English but they still made it feel like home as I was a recurring customer with the same order and the kind woman working at 7ish was always working when me and my mom went and she was so kind and she remembered my order after like a week. Much recommended for people visiting.“

“We're always looking for someplace new, and locally owned, to have a late lunch. We were nearby, so it came up on a Google search. The people, including the owner, were very nice and accommodating. We will probably go back, but it would be a sure thing if the smell of smoke wasn't so heavy, even though there were no smokers present. Once they opened the door, it was better, but they could use more ventilation. That being said, the food was awesome and very reasonably priced.“

“Food was generally good. We got the Bun Bo Hue (it was pretty good, but the pig foot was not very tender), Pho Dac Biet (it was fine), and the Com Dac Biet (the pork chop tasted funny). Maybe I got unlucky today, but will try again some other time.“

You can hear yourself perfectly and the sound is extremely well balanced.Ashby Pub still stands as my favorite local dive. Cathy makes this the most welcoming and friendly place you'll ever find. “My first visit here was yesterday. The name of the place is awfully pretentious, but it doesn't stop there. The lunch I tried was their Best Ever Pork Cutlet. It was pretty good, but.......best ever? I knocked the atmosphere for this place down a star because the interior lighting was way too dark for my taste, but that's just me. Coming in out of bright sunlight makes it a safety issue in my opinion. I will mention that this was one of the few places I've been that really knows how to do french fries right - crunchy outside with a soft interior. The place was a little run down, but they certainly are confident, and their prices are quite reasonable.“

“Great little bar that opens early. Some friends and I have made it a tradition to meet here for drinks and breakfast as well as lunch. The food is really good and very reasonably priced. Best I can tell, most things are from scratch. You can never go wrong with their soups. Big fan of the TouchTunes and the morning / day crowd are all great folks. They do allow smoking. But like I said, it is a bar.“

“It was more like a Cheers type of environment than most bars. Lots of regulars and the bartenders (it was shift change) knew them all by name. Seemed like a neighborhood hangout welcoming any new blood with open arms. Drink prices ran in par with mid level bars not dive bar prices or looks.“

The mocktails were okay,they tasted like Juice.We had the Virgin Pina Colada which tasted just like pineapple juice,we also tried papaya blueberry drink(mocktail) and tasted like it's from a can.The alcoholic beverages section was huge,it's seems like worth the shot. “Absolute finest dining in all of the Midwest. The escargot is to die for. On Sundays they have a falafel bar that is out of this world. Completely unexpected, but they do have over 100 flavors of ice cream. I would highly recommend this establishment. But make sure you bring cash because they are cash only!“

“Tons of TVs, open floorplan so lots of tables, definitely crowded when we went for Saturday lunch so was pretty loud.Was craving burgers and pastrami and they had both so we tried them. Started with the half pound wings buffalo style, these were large and had great flavor, will definitely get those again!Pastrami was excellent, we got the 10oz and it was no joke. You add your own mustard, I personally like pickle slices so I used the ones for the hamburger. They give you a spear with the sandwich, but I just don't want to take a bite put down the sandwich then take a bite of pickle, so just my quirk there.The black and blue burger was good, bacon is nicely cooked and they offer your option of cooking temp for the burger. They have shoestring fries which were great. Tried the onion rings, good flavor but A bit greasy, so didn't finish those. Service was great, super friendly server, very knowledgeable.Will come back for sure.“

“Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“

“Greiners is a great casual local pub. The owner is very nice and the bartenders are very efficient. The bartender named Jackie is the best! She's friendly, quick to get your order to you and great at remembering what you drink. Their prices are very reasonable and the place has a very laid back atmosphere. I don't go out to bars often but when I do Greiners is one of my favorites.“

Our waitress was very nice and on her game, handling multiple tables by herself without making anyone waiting too long for her attention. I had the turkey wrap which was basic. The adult drinks were great with many options.Kid-friendliness: Menu options are available and kids are welcome.“

“It's kind of a fancy-looking place, and the food and service are very good. I did not know what to expect, but my brother had been there before and I joined him this time. We ordered dumplings and a salad to start. Simple and very good. Later I had a tasty Ukranian beer and the chicken Kiev, which is lightly stuffed and breaded and came with some fantastic au gratin potatoes. Stuffed cabbage was also very good. We will be back!“
