“We were excited to try the Tavern tonight for the first time. We were a bit underwhelmed. I only got 3 scallops for a $45 entree (even Disney will give you 4 for the same price). Additionally, the fries and baked cookie had a burnt aftertaste from the oven. For $150, we thought it was significantly overpriced for what we got.“

“I gave it 4 instead of 5 because the waitress wasn’t the best. She didn’t even give us plates with our appetizers ? we got no refills, no straws and the food was cold. Idk the atmosphere was good but the service could have been a bit better. I feel like she saw she didn’t get a tip when I was paying because she said “hope you enjoyed my service” and by that point there wasn’t a need in discussing it.“

“We have been using AofE for many years now for our office lunches. Our order has been correct every single time! It is always fresh and delicious! Their desserts are YUM!Our board members always comment on how much they look forward to and enjoy the lunches provided at our meetings. They communicate well during the ordering process. “We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! “Friday lunch was delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and refined. The Peppe’s and spinach salads were very good. The entrees of veal piccata and grilled halibut were excellent as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra music was a wonderful addition to the experience. I can’t wait to return in spring when I can dine in their outdoor garden.“

“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“

“We realize it was Valentine's Day, so that may have been the culprit here. But... we were encouraged to order all our courses up front, which we won't do again. Each subsequent course arrived long before we were finished with the previous one, leading to a crowded table and a sense of being rushed, which wasn't what we were seeking for a VD meal.... Food delicious, wait staff lovely, all else good. But timing of the courses was oblivious to the pace of consumption.“

“The food was below par but everything else was great. I got a table right away and was served by Kaitlyn. If you are able to request being in her section, do it! I was never worried about waiting to oder and when I did, my drink came very soon after. I got the garlic French dip and I think it's over priced for how little good lean meat you get. A few bites had too chewy of fat. Half of the homemade chips were crispy so that was nice, but I would've loved every chip to be able to break in half and not bend.Still, you should go and give this place a shot!“

“I do not have any pictures of our meal from this place , but this meal was as good as the last time we visited which was several years ago.. we shared some hot wings and salads. The wings here are great. The hot wing sauce definitely has the plastic buffalo sauce that I always want to taste. These are probably some of my favorite hot wings in the St. Louis area.The atmosphere is a good place to watch the blues game, or perhaps even soccer depending on the season. There's a large bar area in the center was several different rooms spanning out from that. We always sit in the front if possible. I don't know why, I just like it out there.Lots of parking around the building.“

“This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot, I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's always insanely delicious. Their salsa fresca is especially good, as well as their sausage gravy. They are super busy on weekends, so get there by 8am if you want to be seated immediately.Kid-friendliness: We went around 8:15am and brought our toddler, there were at least 5 other families with very young kids.“

“We had dinner here before seeing a show in Kirkwood. This was our first time eating here and loved it! I have to eat gluten free so had the salmon and it was delicious!! My fiancé had the pasta with clams and said it was really good too. I would recommend eating here whenever you're looking for a nice place for dinner!“

“Had a spectacular visit here a few years ago and just came back. Same warm atmosphere and great service, fine dining but without the stufy-ness of other fine dining places. And of course you have to mention the food. Stellar! And they have a take home section if you want some take out to enjoy later. Why don't more places do this??? Our daughter was in a mood, so thanks to Jordyn for being gracious w our cranky child.“

“Ice & Fuel is my go-to spot for what I feel is the best burger in STL. The cooked-to-order freshness is outstanding. With fresh, crisp vegetables and sides, it's hard to beat. If your cardiologist is more forgiving than mine, get a side of onion rings! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the pours are perfect. The staff is always courteous and attentive. Frequent visits and you'll be remembered - that's a great part of going here. My one complaint: It is loud. Very loud. Between 5 and 7 you're probably not going to have a few cocktails and catch up with friends. If yelling people is your thing, you'll love it! Overall Ice & Fuel is a great, underrated beer and burger joint. Check it out!“

“Old school bar/restaurant! Smell of cigs and cold beer can get any better reminds me of childhood because I was born in 70's Wed and Saturday the best fried chicken you ever ate! You get mashed potatoes and green beans. The fried mushrooms are bomb with the horseradish dip. Cheeseburger is strong! The Willy onion rings are fabulous. It ain't fancy but the food/cold drinks are the main attraction. Sits by a train track hear the whistle! Service is fast and friendly! Family owned.“

“The Avenue came highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. I joined my siblings for lunch here. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was expansive and delicious. I recommend the pear cocktail and manhattan winter. W enjoyed the French on Mon soup, beet salad, penne with mushrooms, schnitzel sandwich, and classic creme bruise.“
