“We just ate here for the first time and first of all the pizza was delicious. Maybe best pizza I’ve eaten ever. But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. He was not only amazing and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing but more importantly, he brought us joy to us in a dark time and I will forever be such a fan of this restaurant. It was so needed for myself and my little family and I can’t wait to recommend this place to all. ❤️ Thank you again for a happy night.“

“Everything we got was amazing! The meatballs were a dense but decedent with the sauce. The vodka pasta was good, but the chicken parm sandwich blew it out of the water!
Love the atmosphere as well as the weird swan sink faucet and will be back for the happy hour. Services was a tad bit slow, but not slow enough to knock it down a star. Everyone working was very nice and our server was awesome!“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. Upon notifying the serving staff the manager came to our table to inform us that extra safety and handling measures were being taken, and going as far as bringing out the shellfish free dish separately by him. “We used to have Minsky's in Iowa and this place was just like it. Everything tasted just the same. My only complaint was my cheeseburger pizza was way too heavy on the mustard and did take away from the overall taste the bites that didn't were great but could only taste the mustard in others. The service was great and we have already planned to grab take and bake pizzas before we head back to Iowa.“

“Ordered this from uber eats. OMG!!!!! Everything was soooo good! Huge portions! Cooked to perfection! Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“
