“We just ate here for the first time and first of all the pizza was delicious. Maybe best pizza I’ve eaten ever. But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. He was not only amazing and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing but more importantly, he brought us joy to us in a dark time and I will forever be such a fan of this restaurant. It was so needed for myself and my little family and I can’t wait to recommend this place to all. ❤️ Thank you again for a happy night.“

“The whole dining experience from start to finish was fabulous. Our waiter Danny B, was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and had great recommendations. The food was amazing! We had whipped ricotta as an appetizer 5/5, the caprese salad 5/5 and the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta 5/5. We took tiramisu cannoli’s to go but if they are like the rest of the food, we will enjoy dessert later!“

“This small family owned business went on their way to make a Grandma's birthday dinner special from her granddaughter who is 1900 miles away. Ross went out of his way and delivered her special birthday dinner and dropped it off after he got off working I truly appreciate their kindness“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. Upon notifying the serving staff the manager came to our table to inform us that extra safety and handling measures were being taken, and going as far as bringing out the shellfish free dish separately by him. But our waitress was so attentive! She never let our teas go dry. Food was hot and fries were really good! Everyone said hello when we walked in and goid bye and thank you when we left. “This is the best Texas Tom's in Kansas City hands down. The other places can do burgers okay, but this one has the best fries and fish out of all of them. The staff is amazing, they do their best to make up for any shortages, like the dr pepper in the drinking fountain being broken so they use cans for no extra cost, and they are pretty fast without sacrificing quality. I go here almost once a week, and for a basket is only 10-12 dollars! It's cheaper than the big chains to feed a family.“
