“I stopped by today for lunch. The fish and chips were wonderful. The service was great too. Thank you. It was just like I remember Captain D's from more than 25 years ago. For some odd reason I had forgot about Captain D's and had not ate here in more than 4 years until today. I was driving by and thinking about lunch... So happy I stopped. Great lunch. I'll be coming back.“

“First time to Kata Nori Hand Roll Bar. It was spectacular. It was perfect. The food is exceptional. It’s some of the best sushi I’ve had. It’s also got a completely different spin than I am use to. The wasabi was like nothing I have tasted. The quality of the fish was prime. Even the Sake was the best I’ve ever had. The service couldn’t be better and the decor is quite lovely. I love the wood “ceiling “. Whatever you do don’t miss those mushrooms. You can eat very well here and not like sushi. I love sushi but you can bring the friend who doesn’t“

“We (Me, wife, and daughter) were there for lunch. My wife and I shared The Pig Flatbread and ordered my daughter fries and chicken tenders. We flatbread was delicious! My daughter normally doesn’t eat anything from a restaurant except fries or bread. We tried the chicken tenders just in case she changed her mind. She tried the chicken along with their housemade ketchup, which she typically rejects sauce, and she loved it. We ordered drinks and they were good too. The chef/owner greeted us at the end which was a nice end to lunch. Our waiter and hostess were great as well. Overall, it was a five star experience!“

“At the moment I have to say favorite place in KC. So rare to find staff that love their job and deliver excellent service. Amazing food, drinks, and experience. Reminds me of something I’d find in a place like South Beach (and would be 4 times the price there :)“

“I didn't get a chance to take a picture, but the Lamb Chops were amazing!!! I stumbled across this place while on a run. Making a reservation was the best decision. The service was great and I ate outside because the weather was perfect. Wine, muscles, and Lamb.“

“KC Cajun Food Truck came to my job today, and it was SO good. I have never had Cajun food before, and after this, I will be eating more of it. Not too spicy. The pasta was flavorful, and you got a lot of it.My only complaint, I wish it hadn't been so cold out. :)“

“We've been coming to Swagat for so many years, I don't even remember when we started. After the pandemic, as we've cut back to reading out once a week, Swagat has become our favorite Sunday tradition. Hands down, the best Indian buffet in town, and we've been hard-pressed to find anything comparable as we travel. Very accommodating staff and ownership as well. Consistent food quality, excellent variety, lots of vegetarian dishes, very nice atmosphere.“

“Food is great and not a lot of wait after you sit, but be ready to wait for a seatsince the place is small(about 15to 20 tables, but it is always full but definitely worth the wait. The food is excellent and you don't wait long after you order it, just be prepared to wait for a seat because it is always full. But it's worth the wait“

“This was my first time here. I got there just as they opened, the floor was still damp, as I walked in the host warned. The oysters in chili butter were absolutely fantastic. You'll want to drink the butter right out of the shell. They bring crackers and two types of hot sauce. They were not needed, but they too were flavorful. I would have liked a little crusty bread with them to soak up the butter. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp. The steak was cooked exactly right, medium rare. The shrimp came in the chipotle jalapeno sauce, flavorful without being spicy. They cook real rice, not the minute rice you find in other places. It is a very casual place, a few booths and and tables. It reminds me of a mom and pop place in a rural area. You wouldn't expect this high of caliber of food when you walk in. Even though it's a little of a drive to get there, I will be back“
“My boyfriend and I LOVE micheladas, it is our thing. So we set out to find the best ones in town. I had seen people I know post about it so we decided to try it out. and oh my gosh. these are the BEST in town. They are very authentic. You can get them to go which is cool and also they come in a big cup with chamoy on the side. They put the right amount of beer and other ingredients, they just do it right every time. My bf and I always get regular michelada with the dried meat on it and it tastes really good. The workers are always super nice to attend to us and make our drinks very fast. There is always people when we go in just chilling with their friends and it is a chill place to just have a drink. They also serve fruit with tajin and other things that are fruit with lime and tajin/ spicy. for sure recommend for an authentic michelada!“

“Went there for our 55th Anniversary. Jeremy, the co owner was so welcoming and friendly. A real joy to chat with while we waited on our fabulous food. We ordered the shrimp and sausage combination. Came with corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. When we got our meal, I was sure I would have some to take home. That didn’t happen. We both ate every last delicious morsel of food. We will definitely go again, Soon.“

“We've now been here a couple of times, and it is wonderful if you like seafood. Lots of different options, and all of it good. It's especially a fun place to eat with friends, digging into the bag of crab boil (or whatever you decide to get). Use the bib! Get your hands messy! And extremely reasonable pricing! You can eat your fill for pretty cheap.Parking: Tons of parking in the shopping plaza's spaces. No problem at all.Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes to make a mess, this is the place for it!“
