“Awesome food, it was my first time ever hearing about and trying alligator cheesecake, but it is one of my foods now. Great service. The band that began playing around 8:30pm sounded like it was going to be a great time, but it was unfortunately time for us to leave. Only knock against it is the table we were sat at was directly under a heater, so we were all sweaty and felt we were getting slow cooked.“

“My boyfriend and I went on a double date to the aquarium and we’re planning on going somewhere else. We looked across the water and decided last minute to hop in. The inside is very vintage, white tablecloth, but the vibes are very cozy and casual. We were served by the ever so lovely Sierra. AND SHE DESERVES HER FLOWERS AND A RAISE. She suggested this amazing wine called the menage a trois, and so kind and personable. We were conversing after the bill and she left a drop of wisdom. “I treat others how I want to be treated.” We will definitely be back soon. 🤍 Oh and get the crawfish étouffée, and the crab spinach dip! “Good music and atmosphere..
I was solo at the bar for music, food & drink. Service was not feasible though..! Asked for menu three times, raised my hand another three times to order to catch the attention of the bartender. For the second drink, another two attempt to catch the bartender...well, is a good venue however was tiring for me...“

“It’s a semi nice lil spot but could use some HEAVY renovations. The crowd is older so I’m all for that the drinks are on point. However, on my last visit I was at the bar & I accidentally spilled my drink, while trying to pay, and the bartender informed she could remake it but there would be a $10 surcharge (mind you there is no signage of any kind around the bar stating this 🙄)to do so and that was on top of what the first drink cost plus the rest of my order. All I could do was laugh because I’d never heard of something so made up in my life, and for context I have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and I hold two degrees in culinary and hospitality management as well. So I guess common curiosity & customer service isn’t in the bartender employee handbook. I allowed her to remake it of course and paid the EXACT amount she asked as she stood there waiting for what could have been a tip I walked away. Please teach your bartenders proper customer service techniques and that common courtesy goes a long way.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“Stayed up late and made a reservation a month in advance for my hubby‘s birthday and it was well worth it. Wright’s has a romantic & moody vibe, perfect for a date night. We started off with the crab cake which was by far the most delectable bite we had. An absolute must have! For our entrees, we chose the potato-crusted halibut and 14oz New York strip. The halibut was delicate in flavor, but the lemon beurre blanc sauce packed richness. Unfortunately the NY strip was disappointing. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, however the steak & crust itself was dry & tough. We would recommend future guests just stick with the seafood entree options, as they were absolutely delicious. The onions rings were good as is, but the tavern aioli made them great. The service we received was impeccable. Overall, we still had a 5 star experience at Wright’s and will be back!“

“The food and the entire experience were amazing! The evening was to celebrate my milestone birthday and it did not disappoint! The bourbon list was extensive with so many great choices to choose from! And I sampled several! For dinner I had the fillet, crab and crawfish chowder, and a loaded baked potato…delicious! The staff at this restaurant went over and above for us, especially Michelle and one other server, I am sorry that I couldn’t see his name tag and I didn’t want to be rude. They were both super friendly and helpful and this place should be glad that they have such wonderful staff to help people out.
