“Wow! This place had to have changed management or owners because it was so good tonight. I ordered the 3 spicy strips, and the whole meal came out fresh and hot. It was delicious! The person working the window was courteous and polite, didn't rush giving my card back to me at all. Overall 10/10.“

“Just ate at the 78th and State location. Food was delicious. I had the 8 piece whole wings special for $8.99 and side order of livers. The breading is not heavy and both the wings and livers were nice and crispy. The wife had the tenders combo and the tenders were a good size. She liked the taste and lite batter. Will definitely go back. I need to try the fish. Other customers raved about the fish. Staff were very nice and friendly. They cook your food to order so expect to wait. Definitely worth the wait in my opinion.“

“We ordered the 1/2 chicken with sides and everything was delicious. Order comes with rice, beans, salsa, half a charred onion, two charred jalapeños, and 8 tortillas. Quick service and everything was so fresh. Definitely will be back.“

“If I eat fried chicken apart from my own, it will be here. The chicken wings are delicious and normal size.
This is a very small location in the Urban core that has been there for many years!
There is a seasoning they sprinkle on top after cooking that makes the chicken so tasty! I purchased extra to go.
Many people have flocked to get this chicken and this chicken has been given a nickname for the cravings of it... you'll have to ask someone in line or the staff that work there for the humourous name! Yummy to my Tummy!“

“Look no further for lunch time. Best fried chicken and sides. Always stop here when I'm in the area and they give you your money's worth: loaded plates with two dipping sauces, compared to the usual one from those other places.

“So impressed! Staying at a local hotel and needed a bite for hungry kids and adults. I called in the Family Meal of the chicken Tenders Dinner 20 pieces of Chicken tenders, fries and Texas toast. The person taking my order was very friendly and the order was ready upon my arrival hot and fresh!! The food was delicious all white meat chicken tenders and the sauce was so good. Great job!! Thanks kids loved them too!“

“The cashier was extremely friendly, even after being harassed by the woman in the drive thru a few cars before me. I've seen the video and saw the kid there. She wasn't doing anything but sitting there and in this economy when no one can afford childcare, I applaud the mother for doing what she needed to do to make sure her baby wasn't being left alone at home.

“Have to say. I think GCG does the best job out of any other local joints with chicken livers and gizzards. Others seem to have their grease too hot - or something. They cook their livers to the point of burning them. GCG gets them just right. And their sauce is just the right mix of tangy and heat. And quick quick service. Puts the GO in Go Chicken Go!
Have had their regular chicken pieces too. Superb. It's a unique batter recipe. So the 'other' local chick joint? There's room for both. Each has their own variety of chicken goodness. So no worries.
But the edge for me goes to GCG for the livers and sauce.“

“I can't say it's better than my Momma's fried chicken... but it's pretty close. SO good! We love Krispy Krunchy!
I don't even mind that it's in a gas station. I do mind that the gas station staff are less than friendly most of the time, and that the place is mostly a liquor store. They just kinda scowl at you behind the glass enclosed cashier station. The staff at the chicken place are always nice, though.“

“Ordered the 5.99 special(3 Piece Mixed Chicken and Fries)... it was the best fried chicken I've had that wasn't homemade. The fries are already seasoned so no need for Lemon Pepper on them but still amazing. The food is Made to Order. We ate in the car and came back for a second plate to share. The food was still warm when we got home(20 minutes away) The downside is that they are carry out only.“

“I had the Cajun chicken club sandwich..not bad. if you like it super spicy though, you may need to request spicier, but I loved mine. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the tomato and lettuce was fresh. The service was fast too.“

“I ordered online and the confirmation said when you arrive come inside to pickup your order. There was no one working the front counter. I could see my bag waiting for my pickup. I finally got the drive thru ladies attention to get my order. I felt a bit inconvenienced. However my chicken was very good and worth the additional 5 min wait. Next time I'll go through the drive thru. I hope this is helpful for others.“

“Big portions. Great food. We heard about this place and had to try it. Since then we've been back at least four more times. You can get no Spice All the way up to burning your mouth off spice just depends what you can handle. I definitely recommend this place.“
