Still hands down the best seasoned rice that I have had in KC. Workers are eager to please. “Wow! We have eaten here many times and been very delighted with the food. Today however was a different story. This is the first time we have ever ordered on a Sunday. Maybe the lower quality was because they were trying to use up food because they are closed tomorrow? We ordered general's chicken chicken lo mein and egg rolls. The egg rolls were obviously reheated in the microwave and so chewy that we could not even invite them. The chicken lo mein was awful. I guess the low main part was okay but the chicken tasted like chicken that had been in someone's refrigerator for three or four days and been reheated. Although the general's chicken the chicken was good, you could not even bite through the onions and the broccoli was hard as a rock. Because we have had good prior experiences I will try to order here again but maybe not on a sunday?“

“My wife and I have been eating at Rice House for at least a decade - usually getting takeout. It's not something we eat often, and that's a shame. Their quality of food and service has always been first-rate. Just had two chicken dishes today, and the chicken was extremely high quality and perfectly prepared. Their sauces are really nice too. And the crab rangoon and egg rolls were well above average. Menu choices for lunches, combos, and dinners are extensive and budget-friendly. And the consistency of taste is 5-star, meaning I can always count on the same quality and preparations. They are exactly what they promise to be - great food, choices, and service.“

They cook the pork differently, giving the rice a altogether improved flavor. I went basic with the chicken wings and they are to die for. This place is a hidden gem.“

“This place has the best crab rangoons I’ve had anywhere around KC and I grew up at Lotawana where we had some great Chinese food options in south Blue Springs. I recommend their veggie Moo Shu (extra pancakes)!

The staff is very diverse and the table service design is both modern and classic. Very classy and inclusive, I have confidence that the kitchen is sanitary and consistently in order. The restaurant is almost 6 miles away from me but they deliver to us. Must try if you live in the northland and want some food delivered or take a small group out to eat!

“Laid back atmosphere. Come in and get a plate. All the food we had was yummy and fresh. Super nice people that work here, very welcoming and kind. We all actually had multiple things that we'd never had at a buffet before. My nephews, Remy and Roman chose here for their 10th birthday dinner and they were 100% satisfied. And they'll be back“

The seasonings are perfect; no need to add salt, just the right amount of heat in the spicy dishes, and no nasty fish sauce. The food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot. It's also nice that they are open later than other restaurants.“

My only thing was it was the tenderloin style pork, and I prefer the regular sliced/strip meat. The portion size was very good, enough for at least 2 or 3 meals. - The owners/staff are always so kind and welcoming
- We have tried new dishes each time and the food is always incredible
- Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food, enough for a second meal at home in my experience
- Drinks are delicious and there is a wide variety
- The atmosphere is peaceful and the lighting is not too bright or too dim
- The art/decor is beautiful and I love admiring it when I go“

“Some of the best Chinese food in Kansas City. Her shrimp, unlike many other Chinese spots is delicious. Big shrimp not white puny shrimps that taste over cooked. And her fried rice is unmatched . Idk what she does to make it soo good. Her lo mein is top tier as well. The only Chinese food spot I go to .“
