“I had lunch there yesterday with a friend and had the pleasure of having Peyton for our waitress. She was so kind and charming. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself was clean and cozy.. highly recommend the Brussels and belly appetizer and the salmon power bowl. Both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! I cannot wait to go back!!“

“Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30pm. It wasn't busy, and I was attended to very graciously. Ordered the Bacon cheeseburger with steamed vegetables. Everything was delicious! The servers are very nice and the restroom was tidy. I'll be sure to return for their locally famous pancakes. Enjoy your next visit here!“

“First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “Best french onion soup i've had ever. I hide the recommended and don't get just the cup.Make sure you get an entire bowl and some to take home. The atmosphere here is lively but not too loud so that you can't hear the person next to you. All the?
People here not only the staff but also the patrons are just great. Everyone has been so warm and friendly to me here and I am very thankful. I highly recommend coming on Sundays.They have a little bit of the south On the menu. to come and eat.“

“Over the past year I have been a frequent diner at the restaurant and can confidently say that I have never had a bad meal. I recently stopped in on Monday afternoon for lunch. Jerry, Elaine, and Hannah were their usual welcoming and friendly selves. The staff is quick to learn the regulars and always happy to chat. Alesia did her usual phenomenal job of serving. There is a reason to always sit at the counter when she is working. It’s incredibly nice to sit down and typically just be able to order my usual, and for her to know the order. This time, I took her recommendation, and tried their new Turkey Melt. An excellent recommendation, and another quality meal put out by Alex and the kitchen. I have never had a bad meal in the last year while eating here. In short, you should come for the quality food, you will come back for the quality service.“

I spoke with Glen today and he made it right. He showed he genuinely cares about his customers. For that, I thank him and will be trying Flower Child again, and see how that goes.

Original Review:
I have ordered from here and went in person numerous times over the past year. In the last 3 months, it has really gone downhill. The last 2 times I went in person, the sweet potato fries were not able to be given to us because they said there was a 30 minute delay. They gave us macaroni instead which was nice, and promised a refund that I never received. Then, the last 3 doordashes the fries were hard, burnt, and inedible. It's a shame because I pay good money to eat healthier options at lunch, especially with my gallbladder being removed, so I can not worry about flare ups and feel confident that I can continue my work day, by eating healthier options, and not getting sick. This used to be my favorite place but I'm disheartened now. 😔 I wish it would let me upload the pics.“

“It is my daughter’s 16th birthday today and we made a reservation at their sister restaurant Bristol’s awhile back. It’s her favorite place to go because of the fried cauliflower. We got a call today and they had a fire so they couldn’t open but graciously made us a reservation at j Gilbert’s. My son got sick so I had to stay home but they called me and said they made her the fried cauliflower that she loves at Bristol’s tonight at j Gilbert’s!! “Valley Park MO location was very accommodating to a party of almost 30 outside. We were in the covered patio area, perfect for a small youth sports group. Waitresses were organized, food was fast and delicious. Highly recommend.“

“While I'll still recommend it...I did go to the Twin Oaks location tonight and they had taken the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup off the menu. 😢😢😢 I just had it there a few weeks ago. They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.“

“Visited St. Louis and stayed at the Hilton. We had breakfast at The Provinces restaurant and breakfast was delicious ordered the create your own omelette mushroom, green onion and Swiss $15 -- very good. Derek was our server and he was excellent. Ambience was nice and welcoming.“

“Poor Richards is a great family restaurant with many food options. The wings are the best in the St. Louis area, hands down. The wait and bar staff and courteous, friendly, and very attentive. Pricing is competitive and there’s an arcade area for the little ones.“

“Typical bar & grill, with a relatively small bar space but large interior dining spaces plus a small patio near traffic along Dorsett Road. During our latest visit, there was an extremely loud Sunday evening football-watching crowd filling the bar whose shouts echoed through all of the dining spaces. My wife & I received very friendly and efficient table service from Kandice (one of two waitresses covering all tables), and she checked on us regularly. We each enjoyed our dinner choices from the extensive menu: Mushroom Double Smash Burger with fries for her, Prime Beef French Dip with au jus & tater tots for me. Portions were generous enough for us to take home leftovers. We will return to the Maryland Heights MillWoods in the future, with consideration of visiting when major sports events aren't being broadcast.“

“Almost every single person we’ve interacted with here has been so incredible - from the front desk (specifically Brandon who explained there’d been a mixup and so they went ahead and upgraded our room before we even arrived; and who patiently answered all of our questions during our stay) to sales (Sarah, who put on another hat to serve us coffee and breakfast, and sent us up a gift because we had to change back to another room on short notice from the hotel), to the engineer who came and kindly vacuumed up some Japanese beetles from our room and assured me he would release them unharmed, to the charismatic bartender who let us order food even though the kitchen was closing. There are several other folks who’ve been wonderful, and I’m sad I missed their names. The facilities are stunning (you must check out their rec center, I’ve literally never seen anything like it at a hotel) on top of everything else. I wish we lived closer or had more reasons to travel here more often.“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“
