The decore & setup, service, chef & waitstaff was on point!! This is a great 1st encounter location, I can recommend Charlie & his many locations!!“

“Always the best sandwich’s, especially my favorite, the salami. The hoagie bun compliments everything perfectly and holds up the way a bun should. Only thing better than this sandwich is the Italian Sausage Soup. This soup is a religious experience. If you haven’t had it you need to. The Maryland Heights location is just a pickup location so that’s why atmosphere gets a neutral 3 stars. The staff was efficient and friendly, checked to make sure I got everything.“

“I have frequently dined, had delivered, and carried out fron this location. It has had its ups and downs, but I noticed a significant change in September 2021. I believe they took on complete new management. I have been fortunate enough to be dealing with Matt for at least a year now and I always thought he should have been the one that should be running this location. I have been a customer here for 10 years and it's always been a mess. Matt did something different. I believe they brought Dan in as the GM and made Matt the AM. Things changed for the better. Apparently Dan left and Matt stepped into the GM position. Im not sure what happened, but Matt was the best thing that happened to this place. Its my understanding that upper management drove him out do to psychological abuse. I will say as a diehard customer Matt did leave a solid legacy. I always enjoyed Fernando. There were days it was Matt and Fernado, and those guys were on point. Im very pleased to see Fernando in a management position. I would hope that he would be considered for the GM position in the near future. Over the years I have unfortunately noticed the turn of management in this establishment, and there seems to be a common denominator. I have never been able to get a answer from any of the management over the years but from what I can collect it seems to me that they are micro managed and not given the tools to succeed. That is why I will no longer patronize this location or any other Imos that is part of this franchise. It's to bad. I don't know who to contact, but if you are reading this, you either own the place, or are the DM or RM. It really doesn't matter. I have a 17 year old daughter that really wanted to get a job with you and I won't let her. I would have left her in Matt's hands, no worries. Matt was there everyday, everytime. Then he is gone? Through the grapevine I hear there is a District manager that appears to be a bit of a cancer in this franchise. Can anyone fill me in on any information on this matter? Does anyone know where Matt is? If anyone is in contact with him please tell him thank you for years of fantastic service. I hope you have found happiness God bless. John B“

“This is the best dining experience my partner and I ever had. The food was excellent, really amazing. Every dish was a classic that was elevated by incredible, fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The flavors, textures and balance were perfect.

Every person we interacted with was genuine and warm. They were relaxed and precise. You could tell the staff are top tier professionals that love their job, love making people feel welcome, and love the restaurant.

We left Louie and almost cancelled our next plans so we could end the night on such a high note.“

“We ate here for our 5th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Our server was so knowledgeable and attentive, and the environment was perfect. They even brought us champagne and dessert to celebrate with! My husband got the steak and I got the ricotta gnocchi, both were excellent! As parents we don't get to go out to eat very often alone, and when we do we tend to stick to what we know. But I'm glad to say that Napoli 3 exceeded all of our expectations. We are already thinking about when we can go back and enjoy it again.“

“The large salads are large. My rookie mistake was ordering a large salad and a calzone. It was too much food. I ordered the fatty B and it was fantastic. I usually don't enjoy canzone because the crust is hard pizza crust. Not so at sauce on the side. The crust is almost pastry tezture.
Fountain drinks are so carbonated that you can taste the CO2. The only issue. Customer service was ourstanding.“

“My husband has been dying to try Katie's for some time now. We made our way here excited to experience real, fresh, delicious Italian food. Instantly walking up there's a nice outdoor vibe, not overly fancy, but very pleasant with outdoor lights, plenty of shaded area, plants for decor, and seating for various group sizes. The inside is also a fresh and modern decor. You're instantly greeted to be seated inside or out. I noticed right away their branding, pasta to cook at home and sauces for sale. The pasta is near white, which you know means it's real! So we knew we were in for a treat. Upon being seated we looked over the menu and couldn't decide what to try (note: there is a lot of Italian lingo on the menu). Luckily, with the help of our very friendly and sweet waitress, she was able to give us her recommendations and explain some of the other options to us. We decided to go all out and get started with bread service and the cheese sticks (note: some names of items were more Italian-I'm giving you the English cliff note version). That bread is AMAZING!!!! So fresh and delicious!! I loved the airy texture and simple but yet delicious flavor of the simplicity of fresh ingredients and love. The flake salt on top just hit the nail on the head. As for the cheese sticks, the breading was a softer texture but crispy from the cook. They were very large in size with a fresh cheese inside. Hot and delicious. The theme to this review is definitely how much you can taste the freshness and overall care and dedication this chef has to their food. It comes served with a side of marinara. There were 6 sticks total (our picture was a little late). We ended up choosing a pepperoni pizza (just plain style not the ezzo on the menu with spice and honey-my husband let me have my way), the fiama Marla bolognese, & the kids marinara spaghetti. The pizza was everything and more! Thin but fluffy crust, tons of flavor, cheese was the perfect ratio with a good amount of pepperoni too. It is not overly sauced, which we both enjoyed. Again, super fresh, perfect consistency on the crust and delectable flavor! My son (pickiest eater alive-meaning we had to flip the spaghetti over so that it hid the Parmesan Romano) LOVED his spaghetti! The noodles were more al dente than I cook them, but yet it tasted perfect! Both the hubs and I said we'd totally get the spaghetti with meatballs on our next visit. Now, as for the bolognese, we actually did not care for this one. It had a different, almost bitter taste we couldn't identify. The noodles in it though, so fresh and cooked perfectly!!! Plus, they were thick and delicious like no where else in St. Louis. All the portions were large, even the kids! They are also sauced in the best way, not overly sauced. I think what we figured out was that this place doesn't have to over compensate for anything because they use quality ingredients that they let shine in their cooking-it's that freshness and care that they are able to share the story of real Italian food! We loved that! It definitely shines at Katie's! Our waitress did a great job to come back and check in with us about flavors and any needs we might have-even with two young kids with us, she acknowledged them too. To our surprise when we advised at the boxing stage that we just didn't care for the bolognese, she had her manager come out and he apologized, even though it was our taste we made clear that was probably the issue, not them. In the end, he still comped that plate-not at all necessary, but overly gracious and it really shows of how much their service matters to them. That in itself rates high with us! You just don't find that kind of hospitality anywhere now days. We really felt like we were part of a family coming here to eat. That's just how they treated you. In addition they have a ton of Italian desserts we saved for the next trip, as well as a great wine list and Coke products for drinks. The restrooms were clean and everything was well kept. “Last Sunday, Oct. 13, my wife and I stopped in at Massa's in St. Charles.. We did not have a good experience and I left an unfavorable review. Management reached out with a reply, apologizing and then asked to give them a 2nd chance. Normally I don't return to to places that left a bad impression. However after receiving the management's reply we decided to try it again today Oct 20. We were seated and placed our order to our waiter Owen. We spoke nothing about our previous experience to anyone until after our meal was served and eaten. We then explained to Owen that we were invited to return by management. He summoned manager Maggie and we spoke to her of our previous experience. She was informed that the first review would be deleted and a second one will be written. The service was excellent as well as the food. The atmosphere was great as well. Let me suggest MASSA'S in St. Charles. I would suspect their business will only grow so, if you want to beat the crowds then go there soon. Thank you staff at MASSA'S.“
