“Our party enjoyed our evening, with fresh fish and lots of side dishes to choose from. Although the food was tasty, we had to wait a long time to get each course. And a drink that was ordered by one of our party didn't come with the other drinks, and it was at least 20 minutes later before we were told that that drink was no longer available. The replacement drink took another 15 minutes. We didn't have this issue when we had dined there two other times in the past year.“

“Best filet I’ve had at a restaurant in years—perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The au poivre sauce was rich and dreamy. Warm, crusty bread with their butter-olive oil combo started things off right. Shrimp scampi was spot-on. Fries with the steak were crisp and addictive, especially with the aioli and ketchup. Sat at the bar—service was good, just needed a touch more attention. Overall, killer meal. I’ll be back.

“Love gulf shores! Went tonight to the St. Peter’s location and had a yummy dinner. The host was a young man and did a great job and our waitress was lovely and on top of it! Two elderly women came in a the younger of the two was extremely rude and entitled to the host (the young man). Rudely demanding a different table each time he tried to seat them. I just wanted to point out how well he handled it and that he stayed professional and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He deserves kudos. I told her on the way out to tone down her entitlement and not to be so rude to staff and she spiraled. Not shocking. I’m not a fan of treating those in the service industry rudely. Again he handled it very well. Good job to him!“

“We came across this place on accident, and we were pleasantly surprised. The gyro plate is phenomenal, as was the chicken shawarma! We were so pleased with these two meals, that we forgot we ordered the tabouleh. WOW! Refreshing and amazing! I can't wait to come back. The woman working there did it all, and she deserves a raise! Ammas Kitchen will definitely have our support from here on out!“

We got a call today and they had a fire so they couldn’t open but graciously made us a reservation at j Gilbert’s. My son got sick so I had to stay home but they called me and said they made her the fried cauliflower that she loves at Bristol’s tonight at j Gilbert’s!! “We reserved the big room for a family party of 24. Our servers, Rachel and Harrison did a fabulous job! They were patient (we're a loud bunch!), checked on us without being a nuisance, and accommodated some late-comers with adding onto the end of one of the big tables. The food was fresh, delicious and brought out hot (not lukewarm)! Some of our party even ordered dessert! Xavier did a great job of bussing the table and grabbing extra drinks, etc. Considering how many people we had, I felt like it was a good deal price-wise as well.

“I was leary about trying Kay's out because it was almost lunch time. I took a chance and I'm so happy I did! I got the Lobster fried rice and garlic parm wings and fries. It was delicious! The rice was moist (the Lobster was a lil over cooked) but it was still good. The wings and fries were yummy! There was no wait when I arrived. Customer service was great, I waited maybe 25 minutes. It was worth the wait really happy I stopped by!“

“Our server Marvin was great. I will say how ridiculous it is that Happy Hour is only in the bar. We had a group of 7 and we were not told that as we were seated in the dining area. This was my 4th or 5th trip to this location but the first I had heard that HH was limited to a section in the restaurant.“

“Nothing fancy, just went for the meat and potatoes of it to test the water here (plain fried rice and 2 egg rolls). You can tell the fried rice wasn't cooked in years old oil like many other establishments, and the egg rolls tasted more like fresh veggies than anything. Again, nothing fancy, but for the amount of rice they gave me in a properly resealable container, and for the price, I'll give it 5 stars. Friendly and attentive staff at the front counter.“

“Best fish and chips to enjoy when they are here. Perfect location as it is close to home and I get my meals on my way home from work. Staff is so friendly. Wish if they took pre-orders the lines are usually so long and sometimes not easy to wait when the temperatures are not the perfect conditions. Can we get a little more fries? On Thursday I did not get the malt and vinegar I asked for maybe they forgot in the busyness. I would definitely give their food 👍 4.5⭐️“

“Whole duck was delicious. First time visiting and will be back. Didn't have a chance to try anything else because it was the day of thanksgiving and the kitchen was closed to their other items and all I wanted was a whole duck anyway but will go back to try other items of the menu. Duck EXCELLENT!“
