“Walking into what looks from the outside to be a tiny, intimate place, the expectation was high. Dark interior is elegant and the drink and food menu seemed quite good. That is until the food arrived. While salad was very good with fresh ingredients, everything else, from spaghetti with meatballs, deviled eggs, to calamari, they were with overcooked, lacked flavor, or simply wrong. Pasta should be more al dente while meatballs should be, well, meatballs instead of weirdly shaped salty ground beef. Deviled eggs shouldn’t taste chalky (that said, it was better as a cold leftover). And calamari would’ve been a better dish as grilled, not deep fried fast food. Given its excellent service and classy ambiance, let’s hope they figure out how to enhance their food situation.“

“We ate at Osteria Il Centro on a Saturday night at 5pm. Our server was Jay and he was wonderful. He suggested a red wine for my husband and N/A drinks for my daughter and I. We had the mushroom appetizers which were great. For our entres, we had the Lasagnia, Parmesan Chicken and the Orichette Gorgonzolla. The Lasagnia was the best I've ever had and the other two entre's were outstanding! Jay was so attentive and had a really fun sense of humor. All in all, we really can't wait to go back!“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“Found Avenues through a Groupon. We bought the Shrimp Boil, Filet and Shrimp Scampi, Antipasto platter, and two cannolis. The meal portions were huge, our order could have easily fed 4 people. The shrimp boil was spicy, with a lot of shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and a whole ear of corn. The filet was flavorful, and the shrimp scampi was served similar to Alfredo, it tasted so good! The antipasto platter has lots of yummy bites, I really enjoyed the salami and artichoke hearts. The cannolis were great too! They also included a little bag of decorated mini cookies, with a ribbon and Go Royals! tag. I'm sure it was part of one of the entrees we ordered, but an unexpected but delightful little bread pudding was in our ca bag as well. Food was great, portions were large, and the staff at curbside was very nice. I do wish GPS hadn't left us about halfa block away though.“

But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“
