“Walking into what looks from the outside to be a tiny, intimate place, the expectation was high. Dark interior is elegant and the drink and food menu seemed quite good. That is until the food arrived. While salad was very good with fresh ingredients, everything else, from spaghetti with meatballs, deviled eggs, to calamari, they were with overcooked, lacked flavor, or simply wrong. Pasta should be more al dente while meatballs should be, well, meatballs instead of weirdly shaped salty ground beef. Deviled eggs shouldn’t taste chalky (that said, it was better as a cold leftover). And calamari would’ve been a better dish as grilled, not deep fried fast food. Given its excellent service and classy ambiance, let’s hope they figure out how to enhance their food situation.“

Kid-friendliness: To my surprise this was a very astonishing the food was overly amazing my daughter and I enjoy every bit of it to me that this restaurant was amazing place to eat at restaurant they are kid-friendly very very delightful gave my daughter a free drink they are sweet and think of the little ones plus they had a little bit of Halloween candy to give out from when Halloween just passed so so sweet with children my daughter was happy as well as I thankful to have a genuine restaurant like nicks ?“

“We just ate here for the first time and first of all the pizza was delicious. Maybe best pizza I’ve eaten ever. But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. He was not only amazing and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing but more importantly, he brought us joy to us in a dark time and I will forever be such a fan of this restaurant. “This was our first time eating at Osteria Bianchi in Kansas City and it won’t be our last! We went to celebrate my wife earning her PhD and it was a fantastic experience from the moment we walked in to the time we left! The food was delicious and the waitress and the staff were incredible. You can tell they have a well thought out process to ensure the dining experience is a memorable one! We got drinks, entrees and dessert and it was all so good. “The people here are very friendly and helpful. I was there on a Tuesday for their special prices. When it came time to pay, the cashier told me the amount which sounded correct. However, I questioned why it was not showing on the credit card machine. It was blank and they told me to tap in the middle. I was not real comfortable with charging a “blank check”. Another employee told me the amount was on the cash register window which was covered over with a sign hanging there. So I went ahead and tapped.

The total was in the mid $40s. Several tip options came up, with the lowest one being $6 and some change. It was erroneously labeled as 10%. 10% would have been around $4.50. I questioned that and they had no firm answer. (I suppose it was 10% on the non Tuesday special prices). I asked if I could fill in a custom amount and was told no. The employees were very friendly so I left the $6+ tip for them. The entire cash register experience seemed unsettling.

I can not recall if the two who made my pizzas put on gloves first. One was the cashier and the other came out of the back.“

Parking: Don’t be one of those people who feel entitled to park at the curb. There is an abundance of free parking right in front of the store.“
