Wasn't what we were expecting but was a fun time nonetheless. Would definitely visit again!!“

Staff recommended the Cajun butter with garlic parmesan which was a big hit with the group. “Our Thanksgiving meal was amazing and truly exceeded expectations in terms of food quality. Regrettably, the service was dismal and ruined the overall experience. We saw our waiter only two times. We were never offered rolls, and I literally had to chase down a staff member just to get two. To make matters worse, our waiter brought the bill and bid us farewell, despite us not being finished and still waiting for our dessert. Also, the bathrooms were in terrible shape.“

“We came into Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill with no reservation, to celebrate my birthday. There was a short wait for seating but we got drinks and were checked on during our wait. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with pairing drinks with food. The lobster ravioli and manicotti were delicious!! I look forward to going back in the future.“

“Love gulf shores! Went tonight to the St. Peter’s location and had a yummy dinner. The host was a young man and did a great job and our waitress was lovely and on top of it! Two elderly women came in a the younger of the two was extremely rude and entitled to the host (the young man). Rudely demanding a different table each time he tried to seat them. I just wanted to point out how well he handled it and that he stayed professional and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He deserves kudos. I told her on the way out to tone down her entitlement and not to be so rude to staff and she spiraled. Not shocking. I’m not a fan of treating those in the service industry rudely. Again he handled it very well. Good job to him!“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“The Capital Grill in Clayton was outstanding. The ladies at the front desk greeted us warmly and say us right away and wished us a happy anniversary. The young man that Brough out our waters and bread was friendly and also wished us a happy anniversary. Our waiter was dinner friendly and brought us champagne, and also wished us a happy anniversary. The manager came by to check on us during the meal and sent drinks out to us. The meal was incredible and was highlighted by my wagyu filet. I've never had a better steak in my life. At the end of a marvelous dinner the waiter brought out some complimentary dessert. I am a big believer that it's the little things that make an experience become great over just good. The Capital Grill has great food and excellent service, but on top of that they do all the little things right. It's something that you remember and tell others. We would highly recommend.“

“Recently ate there, really by accident, we had tickets for an early performance at the Fox theater, but had no reservations. Had waited at another restaurant which was clear we would not have time to eat, and catch the performance. So we went across the street to try Gary’s. The 5 of us got right in, our waiter was fantastic, he was so talented, and great with my granddaughters. Ate a wonderful meal, everyone liked their selection. We did not have time for dessert so the waiter brought us each of us over a piece of chocolate cake with our meals.😊 we will be going back to Gary’s, because of the service and food. Please give it a try if you are in the area you won’t be disappointed.“

“Fast service and delicious. I’m from New Orleans and I just relocated here but I was impressed. I normally only want the crab but EVERYTHING was amazing and the potatoes were seasoned through and through. It wasn’t salty at all and not overdone with the butter. The shrimps were cooked perfectly, not rubbery and the sausage was good. I don’t like spicy foods so I tried the honey garlic butter. I absolutely loved it and was completely satisfied. The prices weren’t bad either. It’s a lot of food.“

In years of searching for REAL Mexican food in St Louis, I’ve had many disappointments. This place was absolutely fantastic and pure pleasure for an old Texan. It even made me shhh my wife because I wasn’t willing to remove my focus from the delicacy I was partaking in. Can’t recommend this place enough and haven’t been able to stop telling others about it. I’ll be a permanent fixture there for sure.“
