“The Anter Room absolutely exceeded expectations. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, but the standout of the night was, surprisingly, the carrots. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible balance of smoky, sweet and spicy flavours – easily one of the best vegetable dishes I’ve had in a long time.

The dumplings were silky, delicate and generously topped with an addictive crunchy seasoning that made each bite even better. The scallops were cooked perfectly and paired with fresh, vibrant accompaniments that really let the seafood shine.

From the first plate to the last, everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. Combined with the relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and great drinks, it made for a fantastic dining experience.

“We enjoy Room 39 each time we dine there. Our favorite is brunch. Service is always prompt and friendly. The food is delicious presented beautifully and reasonably priced. Weekdays are lees crowded calmer and quieter as Sunday brunch was packed and noisy.“

They have fun and easy going servers, the food is terrific and diverse enough to please a large group of diners, and it’s all in a really nice environment that balances decor and vibe with practicality and ease of business. Take advantage of their happy hour when you can those deals are great, you won’t generally eat a meal here for under $30, but the price is well worth the taste and quality of your meal.“

“Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

“Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

We ordered the ricotta and the calamari. Both were very good. The atmosphere was less than pleasant. “We stopped by here before seeing a show at The Music Hall. It was great because it was within walking distance and we could make a reservation. I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“

“I had I think the most delicious chicken and pear salad I’ve ever had in my life here. There was a couple of conferences going on inside the hotel so the restaurant and bar area was crowded and there was only one staff person waiting on everyone. I don’t know what the situation was in the kitchen however, even though I had to wait for a service, I knew they were doing their best and when my salad came, it was so delicious. I also ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and it was a very generous pour maybe making up for the lack of help that day. It did help me enjoy my lunch very much. I would go there just to go there even if I wasn’t attending anything at the hotel.“

“Small menu but quality food. Boulevard Burger was outstanding, as were the hand cut fries. The Boulevard Old Fashioned was fantastic. We sat at the bar. All of the staff was friendly and kind. Great food though a little pricey. The burger was $20 but we thought it was worth it.“
