It was the perfect venue for the occasion! Our guests had a wonderful time - the drinks were incredible, as was the food we had catered (all through King G) - I highly recommend the assorted panini tray and pretzel bites. However, what really sets this place apart is the staff. The GM was constantly checking in on us, making sure we had what we needed. We loved and appreciated how attentive they were for our event. That's a dish that will stay on your mind. Excellent overall experience. You can tell the kitchen is operated by actual chef's. Bar staff were very friendly. We'll be returning for sure. I overheard our server repeat a regular's order by memory, that's the level of personal service you get there. All the dishes we ordered were perfect, included the Chinese duck with brown sauce - get the pancakes with it - as well as crispy lamb, crispy beef, and the best crab rangoons we've ever had. He just wanted us to order our food, Taking our order, bringing the beer, and placing the bill on our table is all he did. The plates were delivered by other staff, and ordering bread during the meal was also by a different staff member. The waiter we had never checked in. He was just just terrible with no personality at all. When eating out, I want to enjoy myself and not feel frustrated because of a rude waiter. I really felt like tipping his co-worker.“

Our server was Sara P, who was truly awesome. Despite being the sole server (and bartender!), Sara was friendly, welcoming and efficient. She guided us through the menu (as it was our first time visiting the establishment), gave us great recommendations on menu choices, and checked back with us frequently throughout the meal. She was genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good time, and I really appreciate her!
The food was EXCELLENT--I had the Southwest Egg Rolls and my friend had the Nachos, and both of our meals were delicious! The kitchen did a nice job in preparing them quickly, and the presentation was lovely.
Lew's is a homey, hospitable place; the seating is comfortable, and there's just enough space around the booths, tables, and bar so that we felt cozy without feeling closed-in.
