“This was our first visit and we really liked it. We were there Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy but we found a table right away (we got lucky but saw others after us waiting on a table so be prepared). I had the captains double and my wife had the tenderloin. Our son is a picky eater but he loved their fries. We also tried the fried mushrooms and onion rings. It was all really good. And to top it off we each had a cookie, also delicious. We'll definitely be back the next time we're out at Smithville Lake.

Parking: It's an old gas station, so parking and dining space is limited. We found a table right away but saw some people waiting after us

“We were passing thru and staying at Best Western Premier. The desk clerk recommended Conrad’s! We went there and so glad we did! Claire was our waitress and she was amazing! Hubby has allergies and she went back twice to make sure he was ok!! We shared the Blue Chips appetizer…with a couple cold ones. OMG….they were soooo good! We had regular BBQ sauce instead of Buffalo. Amazing! And you get so much!! Definitely enough to share! Then we both ordered the grilled chicken wrap with ranch dressing. That also was so very good! I brought 1/2 of mine back to motel for breakfast in the morning. For a side I had steamed broccoli which was excellent. Hubby had the mixed vegetables. It is a casual but nice place!! Claire was awesome and so was the food!“

“We have had an incredibly busy and full couple of weeks, and came to Cooper’s Hawk for a wine tasting and a meal. The wine tasting hostess was wonderful, the food was good,, but the best part was our server, Valencia. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and on the mark every single time.“

“Shout out to the Culver’s employee who made my beautiful strawberry fields salad this evening! It was PERFECTION!! Not only was the salad beautiful, but everything was Super Fresh! The lettuce was so very fresh & crisp; the strawberries were perfectly ripe, juicy, & freshly sliced; the grilled chicken was a generous portion & still warm, but not so hot as to wilt the lettuce. The pecans & blue cheese chunks weren’t soggy. Perfection! 😁Thanks so much!“

“A total of 12 hungry guys showed up after a long day of golf. We had traveled 5+ hours to the area for a nice long weekend of brotherhood. At the time this place was chosen to eat we didn't know how bad we actually needed it ! Food was amazing. Service amazing. Scott himself came out of the back to talk to all the patrons. Ended up giving us a mini tour of the smoke sanctuary. Beyond awesome. Bought some spicy sausage to bring home for the family. Worth your time, money and effort to go to this place. “My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“

“Great food and drink. It is called Burger Theory, so don’t expect anything else. They do have great burgers, but also other options - wings, chicken fingers, salads and a great selection of beer and mixed drinks. Highly recommended for what it is.“

“Very loud restaurant, the food was decent but charging $6 for the same exact coffee you pay $2 for at any gas station is crazy. The prices here are not budget friendly...We ordered 2 coffees, 2 pancakes and an omelet and it came to $50... how? idk.“

“Husband and I stopped here after helping move our son all day. We both got the cheeseburger with French fries. It was good, but just a bit salty for both of us. Other than this, everything else was great from the host stand to paying our check.“

“Fantastic fast food restaurant! We've been waiting to try this place since we are fans of the competitor! Needless to say, they didn't disappoint when walking in for the first time to order! The food was prepared impeccably and quite tasty! Impressive employees and facility! "Wendy" was at the helm behind the cash register and pointed us in the right direction! She was incredible to talk to and friendly! The prices were comparable to other fast food, and worth it! The sandwiches come in 3 different sizes according to the meat ordered! Impressive! The facility was near capacity and busy thru and thru! All the food ordered was the right temperature and worth purchasing! We returned a week later in the drive-thru! We weren't as impressed by the quality of the sandwiches compared to entering the restaurant! We'll be back and visit Wendy inside, rather than going thru the drive! Thank you again!“

“I love the out door patio. You can smoke and they have heaters in the winter. It is by far the best place in Northwest Missouri if you are a smoker. The live music they have is good. Food is consistent. The pretzel is amazing. I also like their wraps and quesadillas. The servers on the Back patio hustle and are great. It gets busy and these ladies hustle.“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Not one glass ran empty and was on top of the refills. All our food was delicious. With our large group on an Easter Sunday we could not ask for someone as professional as Lane. Great job Lane!!!!“

“My husband and I visited Saltgrass tonight, anticipating the normal fantastic food and service. As always, our food was excellent, and our server was phenomenal, however an unpleasant scene we witnessed really left a sour taste in our mouth for the evening. As we were dining we witnessed the General Manager, Vernon Blazek begin yelling at a young lady right in the main dining area. He concluded the scene when he yelled “Go home. Bye!” As a Human Resources professional, I can say that had one of my managers treated a subordinate in that manner, especially in front of our customers, that would have been the first and last time that occurred. When my husband addressed the issue with the manager, he was incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns, ending our conversation by rolling his eyes, stating “Sorry I ruined your dining experience” and walking off. To say we are incredibly disappointed in tonight’s experience would be an understatement.“

“Hotel surprise! This restaurant is located in the Hilton Garden Inn. They have a vast selection of beers and of course wines and liquor are served as well. I wasn't in the mood for a pizza but if I did it was an impressive menu of options. I decided to try the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was excellent in a way sweet tasting and the meatballs were fantastic! Loaded with flavor. The best part of it all is the prices they charge for their meals and beers is very reasonable and if you're staying in any of the hotels nearby or a local I would definitely say worth coming on in.“

The only thing I have to say that wasn’t great, was the bartender opened the “garage” door to the patio, which no one was outside, because it was 96 degrees! It started getting hot, and the flies were coming in at a fast rate! After about 45 minutes, they closed it, thankfully! The rest of the evening was great, with the exception of some fly friends! 🤣😂I would definitely go back and I would recommend it for sure!“
