“1st time at the restaurant. Calamari and and Mussels were great. Your Veal Parmesan was awesome. My wife had the Bolognese and did not like the sweetness of it. I asked her to send it back but she declined. Outside of that it was a nice experience.“

“Great service and regulars with burgers that blow away many of the more mainstream competitors. Needless to say it is a bar with all that comes with that but don't let that sway you from tasting the simple but complex burges, pizza and cheezsteaks they cook up.Relaxing, fun atmosphere that could lean a bit more on the DB Cooper briefcase carrying suited criminal of lore.“

“We all had the chicken pot pie. It was a very tasty flakey pastry crust draped over a bowl of tender chicken & vegetables. The best you’ll ever have. There were 4 or 5 specials one more appealing than the next. Our waitress Debbie was the best ever. I can’t wait to go back. We got a blackberry cobbler to take home.“

“Really solid neighborhood restaurant. The zucchini sticks were decent. The prime rub was just delicious and it came on a plate of jus. Nice old school dinner. Wife got the dolmades. Really good dinner.Definitely going to be back and regularly.“

“Can be a little loud when they are busy. Food is good and you get lots, won't leave hungry.Parking: Depending on how busy they are, sometimes parking is not great. Restaurant shares parking with a convenience type store/sandwich shop, and I believe a laundromat around the corner.“

“Awesome place. Love the ambiance and decor. Came in for burgers last night and we weren't disappointed. The bar was rocking! To start, buffalo chicken dip and Fritos were a large portion for 2. Dip comes cold and was loaded with chicken. Super good. Felt like I was at a Super Bowl party- heck yeah. For entrees we got the melt with rosemary fries and the bacon jam burger with sweet potato fries. Both came out in record time, I'm not joking maybe 5-10 minutes from when we ordered. Best service ever. Both burgers were killer. Fresh, large portions, tons of flavor. The fries were both excellent as well- love the rosemary on the regular fries. The garlic aioli that the sweet potato fries come with is delicious. All around 10/10! Didn't try the drinks this time, but have heard good things so definitely will be back!“

“So delicious! This was sadly my first visit, as this has sat on my bucket list of places to try for far too long. They did not disappoint! I got the veggie stew special, but I added protein. The lady got the bibimbop and she really loved her meal. Portions are hearty, and I consider it a great value for quality of ingredients, preparation, and presentation. They came around after to ensure our dining experience was excellent. They will be going on vacation soon, so if you need to get your fix of great Korean food, do it sooner than later (unless you want to wait until October)!“

“I would put myself in debt to eat this food, It's so incredible the head chef is brilliant, and the staff from the front of the house to the back make the entire experience a joy. the wild boar and polenta is writing home about worthy, and the tirimisu makes me emotional... the pizza is literally the only pizza in st louis worth eating and I'm from Chicago so I feel like my opinion is extra valid lol. there are a ton of "fancy restaurants" in St. Louis but table cloths and wine selection don't mean crap when the menu of a reasonably priced pizza joint makes your food look like McDonald's by comparison.“

“The breweries cellar serving up some of the best beers made in the world. With an ever changing draft list and an extensive bottle list from the cellar on top of the private and personal experience the small but unique space creates, you are bound to have a great experience. The staff is great and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition my favorite experiences are the multiple special events they have a year serving up their more limited beers.“
“Decent venue, bathrooms pretty clean, seating nice. Alcohol is served here. They have metal detectors in use so if you have anything that can be possibly be used as a weapon, leave it in your car or you will have to make a trip back to your car.“
“Best bar in Saint Louis. The concept is great, only quality Lagers, in a bar with a welcoming, family atmosphere. What more ?The Lagers that were offered, from local and international breweries, were all great, but we especially remembered the milk pours, the spaghetti cocktail and the Malort shots. The manager is super nice too, and we meet great people there.“

“Had a wonderful time with wonderful food. The service was great. This was a gift from my daughter and her husband for my retirement. It is a fancier, pricier place, but who doesn’t want to do that once in a while for a special evening out. Go and enjoy a relaxed night out on the town.“

“Our recent visit to Heavy Riff Brewing Company in St. Louis, Missouri, left us thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere of the microbrewery and taproom was inviting and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. As we settled in, we were delighted to find a diverse selection of brews and a full bar, catering to various tastes and preferences. One of the highlights of our visit was the Squeeze Box Lemon Wheat, a beer that truly lived up to its name. The refreshing and zesty flavor profile made it an instant favorite, offering a perfect blend of citrusy notes and a smooth finish. It was evident that the brewery takes great pride in their craft, as each sip revealed the care and expertise that goes into their brews.Moving on to the culinary offerings, we were treated to a delightful spread that exceeded all expectations. The Spicy Asian Pork Wrap was a flavorful masterpiece, combining the perfect amount of heat with savory goodness. The nachos were equally impressive, with a generous topping of savory, gooey cheese and just the right amount of kick from the jalapenos. Both dishes showcased the inventive and delectable pub grub that Heavy Riff Brewing Company is known for.The combination of exceptional beer and A+ food made our experience truly memorable. The brewery's dedication to quality and creativity was evident in every aspect of our visit. Whether you're a beer enthusiast, a food lover, or simply seeking a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, Heavy Riff Brewing Company is sure to exceed your expectations. It's no surprise that this establishment has become a beloved gem in St. Louis, offering a perfect blend of comfort, flavor, and genuine hospitality.“

“Tried this restaurant yesterday. Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. The food was really good and the waiter was nice. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded when we got there and we still had to wait. The table we got was a high top by the bar, would have preferred a booth or other table in the dining area but all in all it was a good experience. I’d go back for another steak, it was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Peanut free facilityParking: Lots of spots“

“Make sure you make a reservation, they are always busy. My friend and I sat at the bar. The bartender was so nice. But what deserves the most attention is the food. The meal was one of the best meals I have ever had. We got fried zucchini and fettuccine alfredo. It was worth every penny! It is one of the my favorite places to eat from now on.“

“The meal was excellent! Appetizers, salad, steaks, and side were all top-notch. The service was great, too. The server even surprised us with a birthday cake for desert, which was unexpected and very thoughtful given that it was my date's birthday. The dining room was somewhat noisy, but otherwise more than adequate.Few dinners were underdressed for the atmosphere, in my opinion, at least. Blue jeans, t-shirts, and ball caps seemed to be out of place for this type of establishment.“
“Stan's is a fun little dive bar with a following of regulars during the week and karaoke/party folks on the weekend. Karaoke is often loud and jam packed, so choose your nights wisely if that's not what you're looking for. Otherwise they have cheap drinks, pool, basic snacks (chips etc.) to help soak up the booze or you can bring in real food. Can also be a chill spot to grab a drink in the early afternoon and catch a game and you'll often find Stan hanging out at one of the high tops with his people. As others have mentioned the bathroom set up is strange..2 toilets close together, separated by a wall with no stall doors - so if you want privacy double check that you've locked the door to the bathroom itself. There's also a cool little laundromat down the street, so if you time it right..well, you get the idea!!!“

“The real note to make here is that our server was absolutely outstanding, she was so pleasant, knowledgeable, kind and attentive to our table... Probably the best server / waitress I have encountered in a very long time. She was a delight. The food was very good. The only thing I had some pretty mixed emotions about was that we were asked to leave after 75 mins due to an incoming reservation. We had a reservation at 5:00 and there was a table at the bar we moved to to finish our cocktails... the couple that was with us were a little more bothered than I was over it, but I would probably still go again. It was a overall a good experience.“

“Excellent service at the barHad a quick late dinner with a friend. The food came out fast and was delicous. The spicy shrimp are my favorite. Very good buffalo chicken dip. And the pretzel sticks were good also. My buddy had the frisco he said it was great. Restrooms were clean and tidy. Overall a great experience.“
“Great bar with amazing service, drinks, and atmosphere! The design of the whole place is so unique and I have never been to a bar that has matched its charm or character. The food looked great too but I have yet to try any of their items, I will certainly be back to give it a go. The drinks on the other hand I have had and are always spot on, they have never been disappointing for anyone i've been with or myself! For the price too you can't beat this place easily one of my favorite bars in St. Louis!“

“We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! Oh, try the Secret Door specialty drink, a next level Old Fashioned“

“I've lived in STL for over 40yrs and last night was my first time here. I've clearly been deprived all that time. Fun, quirky, cozy place with great service and ample room to spread out and have fun. As others have said, great dive bar, hidden gem, etc. In the case of this place, it's both the journey (to get there) AND the destination (a place you want to be) all in one. From the super cool 100+yr old one lane bridge on the road in, to the money stapled to the ceiling, this place would be equally at home in places like New Orleans or Chicago. I will definitely be back.“

Perfect place to drink, feel welcomed, and awesome place to meet good people! Conversations are fun, witty and always interesting/ entertaining!“
“The food was delicious . I especially recommend the 6 oyster appetizer. The jamalaya is very good and nice that you can get a large or cup sized portion. My only complaint is that they brought our entrees before we had even finished our appetizers which made us feel a little rushed even thought it was a Monday and the place was not very busy.“

“Fun local bar. If you're looking for a cheap friendly spot to grab a drink or watch a game this may be a decent spot. “Had a great experience around 6:30pm on Friday night. It was pretty busy with a line to the door, however, the only reason the wait seemed long was because I was hungry and the menu looked so good! When we got to the front counter we were greeted by a nice, very hard working female. Food came quick after we ordered! My husband and I shared the Locoz fries with asada. This was my personal favorite. The fries were nice and crispy (not soggy at all). I loved the pico on the fries as well as their special sauce! Great ratio of steak, cheese, sauce, pico, etc. we also shared three gringo tacos (tinga, pastor, Camaron). My favorite was the pastor and my husband's favorite was the camaron which is shrimp. Beware, these tacos are messy ! Grab lots of napkins. The last thing we ordered was a side of esquites. It wasn't my favorite version of esquites but it was pretty tasty. I think next time I would have topped my tacos with it or tried a different side Next time I want to try either a quesadilla or burrito. They looks AMAZING!! Both big and cheesy!! They also have bottled drinks. I'm not a big beverage fan but this always excites my husband. He got a grapefruit Jarrito (picture of the beverage menu are listed with a picture of the cooler) Parking was hard on a Friday night. We parked across the street in the schnucks parking lot but there is also street parking“
“We had my wife's 30th birthday party here. We met with the owner, Mike, prior to the event, and he was very friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. The place started to get busy around 7pm on a Saturday night. There is a cover charge here, but it is well worth it. The bands are always fun and sound great! For drinks, the bartender is usually Shelly, and she is a rockstar herself--friendly and knowledgeable of drinks. At the door, Rodney is the "bouncer", but he is very friendly and welcoming to all. The bar does allow for food to be brought in, as they do not have their own kitchen, but conveniently, there is a very solid restaurant directly below that will bring food up to your table. The place was fun, people were dancing, drinks were great, and we had an amazing time at The Attic. We highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!“

“Good food.. just wish the waiter would have worried about our table just as much as the larger table. Not good for it to take 1.5 hours before your main food arrived.. but could have just been a off night.. still like the place and will go again in the future.“
“What a super cool bar. Kimmie was arevbartender and she was super friendly and definitely knew her job. She served us very cold beers and kept the shots coming. Probably 70% females and everyone including doorman was very friendly and respectful. They have a killer jukebox, pool table, and darts. Bathrooms where very clean and over all just a laidback chill place to spend a Friday night. I will be heading back soon. Highly recommended!!!“
“A great time was had by all! I love the Famous Bar, a martini bar that has two pool tables! Yes, please! The bartenders are great! Always friends and attentive. The martinis were superb! I always love bringing new friends here to experience this hidden gem!“
“Low-key, neighborhood pool bar. Excellent bar-pool tables kept in good condition. Full bar service but a serious cocktail would be out of place here. Staff is always friendly and the place is generally packed, particularly if they're hosting a tournament or pool league competition. My favorite thing about this place is they have a challenge table where you can keep playing for free as long as their are challengers and you beat them! Definitely the best pool bar in town.“

“**Cash Discount**Fergie's is a neighborhood staple that we're lucky to have around. The place is popular with an older crowd, so even if you try to get ahead of them and eat dinner at 4:30, the place is likely already busy. All the staff is pleasant, courteous, and takes care of their customers.I don't know about much else here other than the fried chicken. It's some of the best in STL hands down; half a chicken, two sides, and a roll for only $10 can't be beat, just make sure you have the time to wait... it's all cooked to order!“

“Really cool place with good food. I enjoyed being able to try different drinks. I don’t drink beer but they even have a wall for cocktails and wine. It’s a cool concept. We had several different pizzas at our table. All of them were delicious but I thought the maple bourbon pig was the best. We will definitely be back.“

“One of my very favorite bars! I've been here multiple times and I'm always happy visiting and spending time here. The vibe is upbeat but chill, and they have a great year round patio. This visit in particular was on Mardi Gras, which was a great spot to have a couple drinks without actually heading down to Soulard. We sat on the heated patio and had a couple of drinks and were able to chat while still hearing one another. Bartenders are always helpful and friendly, and they have a good selection of beverages. I typically go for the 4Hands seltzers since they're my fav. It got to be super packed full of Mardi Gras go-ers, so we headed out after about an hour and a half. Always a good choice!“
“Visited Warehouse West once for Soul Food Sunday. I really enjoyed my time there. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. The bar's owner, Ty, was super helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The vibe was nice, the layout and interior design was really cute (better than other bars I've visited in the area) and it was spacious. The drinks were good and my whole family enjoyed the food. I'll definitely be back. But next time in the evening for dancing and music. I highly recommend this bar!!“
“Now known as Ryan's Corner Pub, the new owners (Naomi & Jeff) have managed to retain what people loved about Jimmy's and expand on that success exponentially!! Things that you'll notice if you haven't stopped in recently: New paint, inside and out New floors Rearranged seating that opens up the space Expanded drink selection Lovely updates to the patio While you'll see lots of friendly faces you remember on both sides of the bar, you'll definitely notice the updates to the space and atmosphere. As a former (beloved) bartender turned owner, Naomi has really run with fun ideas to bring in new folks while also making the regulars happy. Some new things: Open on Sunday and have been showing movies on the patio which is super fun Drink specials including late night, industry Queen of Hearts Auto play turned on with Touch Tunes - so no more awkward silence if no one is playing music Amazing holiday decorations With Halloween just around the corner and Sunday movie nights on the patio, you're going to want to stop by and give Ryan's some love!!“

“It was the first time having St Louis style ribs. They were fried and burnt to the consistency of charcoal. If that's the way there supposed to be then fine and not for me. The staff was very accommodating and let me switch them out for some dry rubbed smoked ribs and they were good. I also had the brisket and it was very good. I would go back again. Just need to know about the St Louis ribs. Not willing to give up.I was in town again and decided to give this place another try. The Mac- n -cheese, fries, popover, and this time the ribs were excellent. However the brisket was dry and tough. It really should not of been served. I've eaten at a lot of BBQ's joints and Salt + Smoke is not alone. They are all hit or miss.“

“Warning: heavy smoking in here. I'm not a big fan of that these days and I had no idea before I came that they'd allow that in here. Anyway, for a dive bar it's a decent spot, I've seen other reviews about the owner being rude but he was fine to me and the party I was with. This place is good for darts too, I think they have leagues here. Drinks are cheap and they prefer cash but they do take cars and I believe they add an additional charge on at the end (but you don't get a breakdown of prices so there's no way to really know). I won't return often only bc of the smoking but if that didn't bother me (and it was a bit closer), I'd return. If you're a smoker and a fan of dive bars then this should be a good place for you.“
“Great atmosphere. The service is very slow had to go to bar to get cocktails but ordered the food & took almost 2 hours to get my plate. The music is awesome. The outside patio in the rear of the club is very mellow. The fish was very good just upset I had to wait so long!“

“Old school bar/restaurant! Smell of cigs and cold beer can get any better reminds me of childhood because I was born in 70's Wed and Saturday the best fried chicken you ever ate! You get mashed potatoes and green beans. The fried mushrooms are bomb with the horseradish dip. Cheeseburger is strong! The Willy onion rings are fabulous. It ain't fancy but the food/cold drinks are the main attraction. Sits by a train track hear the whistle! Service is fast and friendly! Family owned.“

“Ice & Fuel is my go-to spot for what I feel is the best burger in STL. The cooked-to-order freshness is outstanding. With fresh, crisp vegetables and sides, it's hard to beat. If your cardiologist is more forgiving than mine, get a side of onion rings! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the pours are perfect. The staff is always courteous and attentive. Frequent visits and you'll be remembered - that's a great part of going here. My one complaint: It is loud. Very loud. Between 5 and 7 you're probably not going to have a few cocktails and catch up with friends. If yelling people is your thing, you'll love it! Overall Ice & Fuel is a great, underrated beer and burger joint. Check it out!“

“It was okay! Toppings were flavorful. Recommend the Maui Wowie with bacon, pineapple and jalapeños. The Spinach Artichoke Dip with the bread crisps was so addicting. The one thing I wasn't crazy for was the pizza dough/crust. It's big! But bland. Was hoping for even a hint of salt or something to make the dough palatable, but unfortunately it wasn't too enjoyable. It was also very tough and chewy. Pretty solid overall, though! Delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options“
