The only reason I even give red lobster a positive review is our server. I think her name was Madison. She was great. But if it wasn’t for her I would go much lower with this score.“

“Had some issues with speed of service (food coming out) and a couple of other things, but Johnathan (server) was very courteous and attentive. Didn't get the manager's name, but he and the female chef were very gracious and helpful with correcting our orders. “The Parish has become our favorite Hernando restaurant. The owner (who does not know us) is clearly an accomplished chef. I can’t brag about this place enough: The food is tremendous! The front of house manager, Barry, is nothing but first rate, could not be more accommodating, and is always very attentive to diners’ needs. Then, there’s the wait staff. We only know a few of them by name: Sarah, Caitlyn, Kelly…but they are likely the best servers in DeSoto County! If you haven’t been, we suggest you try the following: Crab-stuffed grouper, BBQ Shrimp, the boudin-stuffed pork chop - likely the best thing on the menu!, blackened grouper…The onion rings are the best we’ve ever had! Desert? Get that bread pudding! It is OMG good! I’ve never had a bad meal or bad service since they opened and we eat there almost every week.“

“There fish are usually cooked and tastes delicious. The last two times I had it , it was not so good. The fish tasted fishy I don’t know where they getting the fish from now but it not good. I usually eat fish from them every Friday. I had big bones buffalo 3 weeks ago and last I had catfish steak and fillet. I just don’t buy 1 plate . I buy 3-4 plates. “We were so fortunate to find Crazy Lu Seafood Shack. The food, service, and the facility was amazing. I had frog legs, slaw, and an egg roll which were wee all delicious. My husband had shrimp, jumbo, hush puppies, and Mac & cheese and loved it. We were checked on at least four times by their workers with extra sauces and crackers brought.“

“A friend of mine and I went there on Christmas Day. We sat at the first booth closest to the entrance. We had an especially great time. I mean absolutely wonderful. I almost never really leave reviews, not even bad ones. The place was moderately busy, and the entire staff seemed to be in a great mood. Our server Marc was especially great! He was so easy going and funny and treated us like friends. We were easy to please to begin with and he just upped it a few notches by being himself. The food was outstanding from appetizer to entrees. I’m confident that whatever you order, the presentation and the flavor are going to be exactly what you want. Just plain great. “We were shocked! This little place does not look like it would be the fabulous experience it was, but looks can sometimes be deceiving! We went online to make reservations. Got there early. There were no customers! Another shock after reading the reviews. But the chef (who may also be the owner) greeted us and showed us to our table that had a "Reserved" sign on it. The only people who came in while we were there were people with take-out orders. Granted, it was cold and rainy. But, really? This place is fantastic! We wanted crab legs and we got a feast! The servers were so helpful and the chef came out and checked on us several times. I ordered my crab legs with just the butter sauce, not with their special Cajun seasoning. After ordering, the server brought out shrimp in their sauce and said she just wanted us to try it. It was amazing. So we changed our order! And the shrimp was great! They were so nice, friendly, and the crab was probably the best we've ever had. Very fresh! And yes, we've had lots from both coasts! I don't know what's wrong with the people in Memphis, but this place would be packed anywhere else, no matter what the weather!!“

The wine list is extensive and well-curated, offering a wide range of options to complement any meal.

The service was impeccable, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or a casual dinner.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day.

“Amerigo has long been one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and not crazy expensive. The service is always great and they are happy to provide as much of their amazing focaccia bread as you can eat. Don't forget the tiramisu either“

We were there last weekend (10/12/24) and returned this weekend (10/18/24) to enjoy another version of their Wagyu Burgers and Duckhorn Wines. Both weekends, we enjoyed their SUPERB Fried Calamari with a glass of Prisoner Red Blend and a glass of Knights Bridge Chardonnay before our burgers.

Like last week, we were blessed with the DELIGHTFUL and PROFESSIOANL attention of Skylar as our Server.

“As a delivery, I would not recommend other than the fact that they made the food fast. My oysters and sweet tea were just ok. The Philly was above average for the area, but the red beans and rice disappointed me a lot. That is a dish which is a staple for this part of the country. Very sour tasting and no flavor.“

“So order some lamb chops from TrapFusion901 last night at the wine on the river and this is what they gave me for $30. They definitely holds up to their name. When I ordered they told me 25/30 minutes so I go back and start getting more wine while I wait. I went back in 25 minutes, I was about to ask this lady was my food ready but before I could, this older lady from the trap made a comment "why are all these people back her, it's just to much", so trap lady #2 asked me "what I needed" and I told her "I was trying to see if my food was ready". She said "not yet". In my mind I'm wondering how would she know and not know my name. She comes back 3 minutes later to ask me my name. I told her that she should have asked me thar before saying that my food wasn't ready and then I perceived to give her my name. After that she then tells me my food was sitting on the table upfront with trap lady #1. I responded to her that she had just told me it wasn't ready and that food had been sitting there prior to me walking up. So I go to trap lady #1 and got my food. When I opened it I was highly disappointed. The chops were cold and dry. They drowned them in bbq sauce, which I don't like. On top of that it was only 3 chops in there for $30. This is another BOB I don't recommend. If they needed $30 they should have just asked.“
