“Maybe I was there on a good day but this is the 4th local Chinese place I've tried in the Memphis area and this has been the best one so far. The general Tso's chicken was good the crab Rangoon was ok. But bang for you buck I will be going back to try something else next time I'm in Lake land“

Service overall was top notch and Evan our server had impeccable attention to detail and timing was near perfect. Seriously one of the best servers experienced in quite awhile. Sunglasses for sunset, blanket for son when it got chilly, and turn up of propane heaters.Each plate was well put together, grilled oysters NOLA style were great, my surf and turf perfectly cook, my wife’s tuna cooked perfectly with a unique and amazing blend of flavors, and my son’s burger nicely done. The caramelized French onion soup was a perfect starter, followed by the most delicious mini tenderloin sliders with herb cheese/mushroom, and oh the Parmesan truffle fries, so good! “My family and I came here for years prior to the new owners and the new place opening up. We loved it then but we love it now even more!! Every single time we come is a 10/10 experience. From the greeting when you first walk in, to the time you pay and leave it is just a great time. I turned 33 today and chose to eat here for my birthday dinner with my family for every reason they stand for. It’s a family environment with good people who work there and run the business. My Dads wallet fell out of his pocket while at the table and Chandler called to let me know they had found it. You don’t find that kind of honest work too often anymore and his parents and the owners should be so proud to have such a good man representing their business. “I’ve visited Pier 64 several times because it’s close by my home but actually, the food is really good and the staff is absolutely amazing. I’ve been there during lunch hours as well as dinner, and the service is always exceptional.Parking: The times I’ve visited I never had an issue about parking.Kid-friendliness: I notice parents bringing their kids there after school for possibly a celebration. I applaud the fact that the restaurant is very versatile in that it accommodates an adult atmosphere but can switch to deal with children as well.“

Classic “hole in the wall” with great eats, great service, and great conversation; our entire family enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had a good mix and didn’t have a thing we didn’t like- from the fried fish and shrimp to the crab and shrimp boil- the sauces and the dry seasoning were DELCIOUS! Truly some of the best flavor I’ve had on seafood; we were all practically licking the plates (that garlic butter ?) & even bought some seasoning for home. A lot of us split The Little Island between 2 which was perfect (but even better after adding a piece of fried fish). Prices were reasonable and worth it. Avis was AMAZING & our waitress was sweet- we definitely look forward to coming back!“

I like the way the chicken and steak are finely chopped in the mixed fajita. My kid devoured her Quesadilla Roja. The salsa was really good too. “This Captain D’s is closer to my house so I frequent it..I hardly ever have to take my food back(i.e missing items or doesn’t have what ordered). I do not mind waiting longer for my food to be made to order & fresh. Staff are usually always friendly and ensure 100% great customer service.The lobby can get messy @ times but staff will get right on it.“

“Every time we go to Memphis, we stop here. Their food and service are excellent. One of us always gets the catfish and I choose either fried shrimp or the cuban. You wouldn't expect that the cuban would be a good choice at a restaurant that highlights seafood,but you'd be wrong. It consistently is the best one I've had regardless of the restaurant. Service is great. Refills come unsolicited,which is refreshing.“
