The server was so attentive, she noticed a fly on the window bothering me and killed it with a napkin. We ordered the cauliflower and kale salad to eat with our main dishes. For the entrees I ordered the heritage pork and my wife order the prime ny strip. The flavors on all the dishes were spectacular. My only gripe was the lack of salt on the cauliflower, which was an easy fix. I’ve never had pork chops and New York steak taste so tender. I recommend medium cook on each of those. The service was impeccable! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food that is not fried southern food or fine dining. This is the perfect medium. Bravo!”

“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”

For appetizers we got the watermelon and cantaloupe and it was the perfect mix of salty and sweet! We got the Stracciatella and it was good, but it was not my favorite thing. For dinner we got the rigatoni and agnolotti, and oh my goodness were they amazing. The corn in the Agnolotti was a weird combination, but I was willing to try and I can confidently say I will be returning for that dish alone!!

Several places have lists of what they offer that's "gluten-friendly" or gluten-free. I'm Celiac and had some great BBQ without getting sick.

“I got this place as a recommendation from Mr.ChimeTime on TT. I'm so glad I listened! This was some true southern cookin! They bring out a plate of scratch made biscuits which are so soft and moist. It comes with house-made blackberry and peach jam. They are both outstanding. For my meal I got the country fried steak and hash brown casserole. Sooooo damn good. The steak was cooked perfectly, crispy outside and moist inside. The casserole was delicious as well. My friend for the pork chops and those were a 9.6/10. When I go back to Nashville this will absolutely be on my list of places to go back to.

“We love the casual yet upscale atmosphere at Thistle & Rye. Our party of 6 sat inside as it was 8 million degrees outside. We shared lots of apps, we all had the cod sandwich. The cocktails were fun, our eats delish! Our server, Samantha was patient and gracious as we were definitely “extra”then a larger group settled in at the next table. “We were in the mood for Indian, so we decided to head to Curry and Tikka. Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and we were quickly seated. To drink, we had mango lassis; they were so good! We had samosas for appetizers and they were delicious as well, super crunchy and the sauces that came with it were so good, (especially the mint chutney.) Our entrees came out pretty quickly, we had the paneer tikka masala and Channa massala. Both dishes were so tasty. They have a tandoori oven they use, so that’s how they make the food taste so good and makes this place stand out from other Indian places. To resume, service, food and atmosphere were awesome. I greatly recommend this place!”

The good: kind, patient check-in service; wicked fast food delivery; upscale pink sea salt at the table; addiction worthy chronic bacon; creamy texture cheese grits; and a water station with love note (see attached photo)

The bad (which isn’t, in this case): the biscuit itself (per the title of the establishment) was ok. Though to be fair, if you call yourself biscuit love, you set expectations very high.

There is a trend that I have noticed in Nashville, of independent fast casual establishments providing near full-service restaurant service levels. It’s a perfect blend of “in and out” and “I need help” that’s hard to achieve. Kudos.

Each burger you buy comes with your side of choice. They have multiple different sauces that you can try and add to your burger or dip your fries in. “We drove from Newburgh, Indiana just to eat here for our Anniversary. We were greeted and seated quickly and given a champagne toast and the delicious Gol Guppa Shots. I've never had anything like it! We also had the Whipped Paneer, the Ginger Garlic Shrimp, and the BEST of all, the mussels with spicy coconut curry! All were excellent and the service was amazing. Definitely worth the drive. Thank you for an excellent anniversary meal that we won't soon forget!”

“I got this place as a recommendation from Mr.ChimeTime on TT. I'm so glad I listened! This was some true southern cookin! They bring out a plate of scratch made biscuits which are so soft and moist. It comes with house-made blackberry and peach jam. They are both outstanding. For my meal I got the country fried steak and hash brown casserole. Sooooo damn good. The steak was cooked perfectly, crispy outside and moist inside. The casserole was delicious as well. My friend for the pork chops and those were a 9.6/10. When I go back to Nashville this will absolutely be on my list of places to go back to.

“Adele's has a creative menu, a comfortable industrial-modern interior, and very attentive waitstaff. Everyone appeared to be well-trained by someone who knows what he or she is doing. Great food with lousy service never impresses me. Adele's gets it right on both counts.”

“My husband and I visited the Rainforest Cafe in Opry Mills Mall in Nashville TN. We had a great experience. Our waitress Catherine N was very hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable helping us with our account information. Chef Kraig served up the best Python Pasta and Rasta Pasta we have ever tasted. We even received a visit from the restaurant manager John to make sure everything was perfect! Definitely a 5 star rating!”

The commercial chic design was beautifully done with exposed brick, artificial plaster walls, and original artwork while staying true to their Pacific Northwest roots with the rest of the build out being done in wood. There's a myriad of different seating arrangements for all visitors and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the cool summer mornings.
