Do glad we did. \n\nThey were quite full/busy but they fit us in and were very kind and gracious about it. \n\nThe entire experience was special. About four different staff members checked on us throughout our evening. \n\nTheir knowledge of the menu was incredible, and especially their very extensive wine list. \n\nWe started with their “Darling” bread and butter. Absolutely amazing. I would have been happy with just that. \n\nTheir offerings of different locally grown greens was amazing. \n\nWe had the lamb kebabs and rabbit pasta for our main. The salad croutons are fresh made and make the salad worth having every time.

The steak frites and chicken dishes were incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever had chicken that was as juicy and tender as it was here.

Prices are in line with a higher end restaurant and the service is fantastic.

Vibes are sultry, funky, and inviting for a solo traveler but would also be a great spot for a date night or girls’ night. “This morning, I stopped by for a coffee and something to eat after being disappointed with the breakfasts offered by hotel chains.

I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and an absolutely delicious cup of coffee. The flavor was a bit on the light side for my taste, so I added two extra shots, and it turned out perfect.

The bread was spectacular—fresh, crispy, topped with tomato, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced.

“The Scarlett bee catered our wedding last weekend and did an AMAZING job! Matthew is so nice and helped us every step of the way. He was able to work with our budget and even drove all the way to our house to deliver food for a tasting since the truck wasn’t up and running at that time. The staff and bartenders provided were very friendly and did a great job. We had chicken shwarma, falafel, pita, Lebanese rice, toum, hummus, pickled veggies, and sliders. It was all incredible. I never thought I’d find so many hidden gems in a city like Asheville.

This place was neck and neck to a NYC rooftop experience with spectacular views.

The waiters were friendly and even looked out for me when a guy pressured me to have a drink with him. I appreciate that a lot as a single traveling woman.

I didn’t try any food, but the drinks were impressive. The lemon drink was too sweet for me but worth trying! I loved it!

Waiter was Cassidy he was very nice and welcoming with great knowledge of the menu, this was our first time there and was so relieved to find a great noodle stop as we have tried others and were highly disappointed but not here. We got the dynamite shrimp , so creamy and just a hint of heat, we got the kids ramen so next extra stuff just the noodles and broth and those had great flavor they approved!! I got the deluxe ramen with the black garlic oil and pork belly so bold and smooth, and we got the spicy ramen which had a great heat level and my husband loved. “I stay at this hotel way more than I care to admit, and make good use of the dining options. Very rarely do I venture out for food or drink because of what’s available at District 42.

The recent menu changes have been exceptional. Adding basic bar food like chicken tenders with fries was a smart choice and now offers something for the younger guests (e.g. kids). An update to the pizza offerings was the right move. The Ruben is so tasty (although the bread is so fresh it tends to fall apart). Paring down the dessert menu to a few items has also worked out. You. Must. Try. The. Olive. Oil. Cake.
