“Disappointed despite the hype. This place came highly recommended, but we left feeling let down. It’s a seat-yourself, order-at-the-bar establishment, but the experience was far from smooth. The tables were dirty, and our seats were wet (was it beer, water, or something worse?). The line to order was chaotic, with people forming their own lines, and the food arrival was just as disorganized. Some of us finished our meals before others even received theirs. Thankfully, we ordered nachos as a starter, which helped hold us over.

Two of us ordered the Birria Dip, and both came out completely different. One barely had any beef, and at $14.50, it was far from worth it. On the positive side, the leftover Thanksgiving sandwich was plentiful and flavorful. The cheeseburger, however, was average, you can skip this one.

“As someone who’s from Philly and came here for a festival that got cancelled (sadly, F Blue ridge rock fest!!🙄) we came here because we heard it was a good place to watch the eagles game and it definitely delivered !!! The vibes and the great energy made it feel like we were back home and definitely the spot to catch the game. & the food was fantastic as well. If I’d ever be back in the area, I’d for sure come back here for a game & some good food!“

Simple but mind blowing really - this taste of fried, sliced, pickles. Besides the food I also really enjoyed the Bryant Bridge Gateway Ale! Service was friendly, and the vibe inside was great! “They get my order wrong a lot (probably due to the obviously rapid employee turnover rate) and the portions are smaller than once upon a time BUT the grub still hits the fast food spot and the milkshakes can't be beat for that price!

Parking: The area is not a friendly one. I don't recommend rolling your window down for anyone.“

“The food was good, and very cheep. We came at like 10am on a school day, and they were packing up food for catering around the restaurant. The servers were still very friendly, but it loses some points for us being the only people there and them having to pack up. Probably just unfortunate timing.“

But, overall good and a good option for food with a beer from high wire if you’re not in the mood for pizza. Plus, of was fun to try a pineapple ginger Jamaica sof drink :)“

“Have driven by so many times and finally experienced the outdoor dining last night on a beautiful evening. The food was delicious (even thought they had run out of the rice and beans we were excited to try - just a great reason to go back!) Loved the drinks we tried, and we even splurged with some ice cream at the end. Service was fast and friendly. Now we just wish we had gone sooner!!“

“Great, fresh salads and friendly service.
I always get the greek or hummus salad with chicken.
The pitas are always warm, slightly crunchy outer with fluffy soft inner...yummm.. Chicken is very flavorful, tomatoes always rich red. I want to try their other offerings but the salad is so good i never try anything else. The service is very courteous and they ask you if you need anything at your table even though it isnt a sit down and serve you style place. Great place!“

“Just left this BK a few mins ago. Their customer service is great every time. The food was fresh and the fries were hot. There was a little wait but was informed by staff twice that it would be out shortly and it was. A little wait for fresh fries is fine with me. I hope this type of service continues because the Durham area is struggling and filled with useless/ rude fast food spots. Keep up the great work, please !“

“Awesome restaurant, I love stopping in to pick up lunch on days I don't have time to bring lunch to the office. I usually pickup a few frozen meals to keep in the freezer while I'm there. Staff is always nice and helpful.“

“Burger King isn't for everyone, I know, but it was a very good BK. Fries were hot and salted, and the food tasted pretty good for fast food fare. I had the spicy nuggets, and the chicken sandwich, which were both great. Give it a go if you need some reasonably fast food.“

“The bartender Tennessee makes the place what it is. I had a great experience my 1st time and look forward to the same experience my next visit. New bartender Scott is a really nice guy. Today was his second day and he did good. Hands down all in all I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Five stars from me.“

“I give service a 3 star rating because one of the employees (His name is Philip), has been a rude server. There were two instances of his rudeness; one was when I asked a cashier if the cheeseburger had two patties or one and in an abrupt fashion he points at the menu which was quite unnecessary. Then there was another time when he called me and my mother's order and pushed one of the bags which again, didn't need to happen. When making people's food and explaining the menu the customers you have to give genuine service and not show a poor attitude. It's a poor reflection on the store and your coworkers.“

“It was good I accidentally went right to the window as I wasn't paying attention and was picking up a mobile order. They had me to back to the order screen which was in my opinion unnecessary but I've worked a bunch of places and policy is policy ( probably needed timing matrix met) food was delivered to a customer but the tipped so I'd imagine it was pretty good.“

“Was driving by and spotted the Cookout - never been before so I checked the reviews and it had seemingly high reviews for a fast food chain - I ordered the peanut butter Oreo milkshake and a regular burger with grilled onions.Had no idea why it was called the cookout but the second I took a bite of my burger i immediately knew, it tasted straight like a burger you get from a cookout right off the grill! I know BK tries to hit you with their “flame grilled” but it can’t stand next to this burger! And THE MILKSHAKE - I have no words other than it was GREAT! Found my new cheat meal spot! Looking forward to coming back!“
