“Mint is the best restaurant in the Boone/Blowing Rock area! The food is fantastic, most ingredients from India. Cucumber salad and hot cauliflower appetizer, the saag options are all amazing. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. Aman is the best. He remembers us and makes us feel special plus he makes the most delicious drink - Mango Mojito. Atmosphere is nice, and to top it all off it’s a great value.“

“I asked the pink haired cashier to pick out 6 of her favorite cookies for me to try and they did not disappoint. Cookies taste rich but have a light, airy quality that are absurdly delicious. Favorite was the strawberry cheesecake cookie but all were great. More on me for not realizing and not a big deal but understand that they are baked to order so expect to wait while they are in the oven. Trust me they are worth it.“

Literally everything we ate was the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The bison burger had avocado, salsa verde, and red onions. It was such a beautiful balance. The staff is always so friendly and the food is always piping hot. We absolutely love their fries and cookies as well. Their cookies are extremely soft and just so very yummy! This place blows mediocre Subway and Jimmy John's out of the water!! The location of this place is a little odd and hidden, so when we come upon it, we were so happy we did. My only complaint is how expensive it can become, though. You don't get a side or a drink with the actual sandwich, so that is the part where it becomes expensive. A small sandwich with extra cheese, small fry, and
1 fountain drink, it is $15.87 (with tax included). But, it is well worth the over an hour drive and $ to enjoy this place.“

“Well, I drank some beers, and then I had a few more. Then I stumbled out yonder to the food truck and got me a little bit to eat. Then, I was ready to drink another couple of brews. So I did just that. Then I walked somewhere else and did similar things that were fun and exciting to me like jai alai or chess. I'm longing for a strategic game of Twister at the moment. We ordered it from a delivery service have my granddaughter got a flat bread pizza that she couldn’t even eat she said it was disgusting. Just a suggestion maybe you want to use the mini chocolate chips in your cannolis I think they would be much better than trying to eat the big ones with the cheese mixture. At least they were good. Their house vinaigrette was very good at least I enjoyed the salad!“

“I was happy with my Sedona bowl. it was good. my biggest issue it was, it claimed the ball was vegan, but I happened to find a possum bone in it.“

“Went in craving hashbrowns and bacon. The staff at this waffle house was really on it. And the food was really good. I definitely will be going back. But during certain times of the day expect a wait time and parking runs out fairly quickly. I go during off hours to avoid this.“

While waiting for our table in the bar area some very rude customers decided to bully a local customer that ended with her being very upset. Katrina, Stephen and Landon (I hope I have their names correct) went above and beyond to ensure this young lady was protected and taken care of. Not only is the service, food and atmosphere amazing, we will continue to visit Makoto's because of the actions these individuals took to protect a customer.“

“We arrived in the later morning and we're seated immediately. Our waitress was cordial and very attentive throughout our meal. Drinks were refilled promptly and ordering was quick with helpful questions and recommendations to make our breakfast complete. The food was prepared as ordered and it was delicious. We had enough leftovers to bring home for another breakfast. We have found Cracker Barrel to be consistently good wherever we travel.“
