“This is my favorite Mexican place in the state of NC. Everytime I come the food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. They are super consistent. I tell everyone about this place. Absolutely wonderful customer service. They take care of their customers treat them like family.“

“The food selection was good. It was more home style cooking, but some of it lacked seasoning/flavor. The chicken dumplings looked like no effort was made. The broccoli wasn’t impressive, neither was macaroni and cheese. However, the hush puppies were good and the fresh fries.

The shrimp and fried chicken was delicious, I must add. Their desserts tasted well also. Some foods you can tell were dedicated, and some neglected.

My server was ok, we needed refills, to go boxes and straws, so she forgot it all. This place is what it is, for the retirement age.

“Must be reached from north of the point. Go down a long gravel road, come to a gate with no trespassing signs. Go about 300yds through a trail, brush and some mud untill you reach the point. The trail is navigable in April but probably bug invested in summer. It was incredible to see the birth of the Cape Fear River. It's a nice bike ride through the country side.“

“Went here with my daughter-in-law yesterday, and even though the atmosphere is nothing special as soon as I walked in, the man behind the counter was very accommodating and showed us right away that there was a lunch menu, which I appreciated that he showed us. We did order off the lunch menu and went to go sit down at the table, There are approximately five tables I think inside and you can tell that it’s an old sonic restaurant before that.. But we felt very comfortable inside and the man brought our lunch to us which for under $20. We both got the main course fried rice and a soda so that’s actually not too bad.. The food came out, hot and plentiful as I took about half of it home and my daughter-in-law did too, and then the man behind the counter also brought an extra bag for us to carry our food home with us. Definitely see myself going here again..“
