“It feels the same as when it was called Golden Pig, it could be a bit upgraded, food was real tasty, the appetizer was brought to us at the same time as the main dishes, I lend the fact that we were not rushed out and could have a good conversation with my family. We were not asked whether we wanted something more, the waiter just came to our table and handled the bill over to us that was that.“

“If you are looking for a laid back Korean BBQ experience, Gen is the place for you. McKenna, the general manager was so attentive to our table. She explained everything to us and made sure we always had what we needed. The selection of meats at Gen is fantastic, and if you are a kalbi fan, don’t sleep on the Nook Gan Sal (marinated beef finger short rib) and the Woo Baesal (premium short plate beef belly). Also, the dessert option of Hotteok is a great way to end the night on a sweet note.“

“This was my first visit to the Raleigh location on May 28, 2025 with two out of town guests. three diff dishes were ordered..brisket, St. Louis rubbed ribs and burnt ends. The brisket and burnt ends were amazing. The ribs however were dry and tough. The meat certainly did not fall off the bone. I would not recommend the ribs based on this experience.“

“Best barbecue we have ever had ! We will definitely be returning to here again. Everything was so tasty and flavorful ! The barbecue chicken was fall off the bone , the okra was fried to perfection, the potato salad was delicious too and the pulled pork was awesome with their house made sauces!Our waitress was soo nice too, was so welcoming and we really appreciated it because our family has been going through a tough time. It warmed all of our hearts and bellies. Thank you for the great barbecue experience!“

“This was my first taste of Carolina BBQ and I was not disappointed. The food didn’t blow me away but we did enjoy everything that we ordered. The prices were fair and the service was excellent. Thank you to the staff who made a few people from out of town feel at home, particularly the GM who came over and spoke with us! Look forward to coming back next time I’m in the area.“

I drove 40 minutes out of my way just to see what the hype was about, and Corner Boys BBQ did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, perfectly smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they put a lot of love into what they do. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Totally worth the drive, I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on their social media for the location!“

“Delicious food and great service even for a family of 6. The servers were very attentive. This was a great place to eat as a finish to our vacation. The wings were probably the best I’ve ever had. I got the Shearon Harris and the flavor was excellent with the right amount of heat. My wife and oldest had the regular BBQ flavor and that was also very good. The Tots with queso was amazing as well. If you’re in the area I strongly suggest trying this place out.“
“Stephanie Food Truck was amazing! First of all, they came the day before to introduce themselves, make sure they knew the location to park the truck so there would be no delay, and they had enough people on hand to take care of the staff in a quick orderly fashion. On the day of our event, they showed up one hour early, staff filtered out and they served 111 people in an hour. The food was wonderful, Romero was so kind. The price, well let's just say - I was very pleased at the discount he offered and we WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN! “Hadn't tried this place despite coming to Apex frequently. Really wish I had tried them sooner. Excellent fried seafood served hot, fresh and from friendly staff. Highly recommended.

“Had the beef bulkogi and rice bowl with kimchi when they were at the state fair- didn’t eat it immediately till later and it was still bomb. Great portions for a fair price and service was great. Someone took my order and they had no problem helping me out. Will for sure be visiting the restaurant again soon!“

“The food here is very good! I got the dolsot bibimbap. The bowl was sizzling hot and it made the rice at the bottom very crispy. The spicy squid was also very good. The entrées came with miso soup and sides, like kimchi. It’s a casual restaurant connected to the Korean market. You pay at the front and it’s self serve pick-up at the kitchen window.“

“Please change some of 20 curbside parking into handicap parking for a disabled veterans. Only 5 handicap spots always full but the 20 curbside pickup are always empty.“

“I have visited this restaurant probably about 10 times and not once have I ever got a bad experience. The service has always been welcoming and hospitable, plus there large selection in meat and even appetizers. I find the portions to be just the right amount so you can allow your stomach to experience the different food without having to call quits after 3 dishes. This place is certainly a hidden gem in the Cary area and I recommend to come here with friends or even by yourself!“
