“My husband always wants brunch and orders the VERY same omelette however if the manager is cooking don’t get it!! He makes it tiny and hardly any hashbrowns with it. If this happens again we won’t go back. ALL of the waitresses are very nice but they are concerned about this too because of complaints.“
“My first time here on Wednesday. I heard so many good reviews about this place and they were all true. It was a bustling restaurant and reminded me of home. I ordered the scramble but I had my eggs fried. It was flavorful, perfectly presented, and enough for a to-go box. I was by myself and yet, my server did not neglect my coffee cup amid the full house. I will always want to return for the tasty breakfast and the warm atmosphere.“

“This is easily the best food I've had in the Newton area. I tried the "officer Burger" which is a burger topped with AWOL Cajun seasoning (their own blend?) Bacon House made pimento cheese and a honey sauce. This burger played so well together! The sweetness from the honey cuts what richness the pimento cheese has to offer in the best way possible! Cajun seasoning is not overwhelming or too spicy either! All that goodness is between a nice soft brioche bun, what could be better!? An absolute must try! The fries were giving off some serious "rally" vibes, unfortunately my fries were room temperature. But my waitress was sure to ask if I'd like them re cooked. Overall I'd not only suggest this place, but I'll be going back myself! Their menu is packed full of delicious looking items. And while I was there I found out that a portion of the profits go to help veterans!!Kid-friendliness: My 5 year old got the burger and fries and absolutely loved it! Great portion sizes too!“
“Came here on a Wednesday for wing night special. I had part teriyaki and part buffalo wings. Service was good and the wings were delicious. Also they had a DJ and we played music bingo. My son won a hat and a 10.00 gift card. Most likely will go back!Parking: Very little street parking. We parked in the back in a dark lot and came in the back door. Back door you walk by the grease trap and the stuff you usually don’t see at a restaurant. I felt it was not ideal.Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed very welcome here. Had food for kids as well.“
“Small town restaurant go to for your bar-b-que and smoked meats. Bar-b-que chopped was moist perfect amount of sloppy the bread wasn't soggy and topped with in house made BBQ sauce and BBQ slaw. I wanted smoked chicken half or quarter and had asked about the chicken plate but the clerk didn't really elaborate. Great choice and worth the drive.“

“The blonde lady that cooks on the night shift, is a very good cook and a sweet person. We came in Tuesday night and the food was amazing. She even cut up our dogs food we ordered to take with us. We came in over the weekend but she wasn’t here ? the food was ok but not like hers. lol I think she spoiled us. Thank you to the blonde cook on the night shift for making our visit a great one. “Some how part of 1st shift staff schemed together, noting that I never came in until 2nd shift sever named Jennay told manager & fellow workers that I came behind the counter got in her face screaming she was a racist First of all I am a Christian not perfect but try my best to conduct myself accordingly I minister across the country over the years in many all African American churches many churches in the area know me well and are associated with me and I have adopted two biracial children as they were infant my baby girl is 18 her next birthday with this in mind, first of all if I would’ve come behind the counter and said that in her face which never happened the cameras would have it on film Secondly I do not understand why they agreed to conjure up such lies on me just because one or two of them didn’t likea Christian presence Of course the manager believed their story without any proof without anything on they are continually finally calling me a racist I have asked upper management to please deal with it and approach them an apology for defamation of character not just for me but all the people that I am associated with this was a manipulated incident and there are many people that will not go there now because they know what they have done and the manager will not do anything about it Billy he’s very rude and obnoxious treats employees very harshly if he doesn’t like them and normally has them moved to another store there are many witnesses to this that has been happening for at least 6 to 8 months we’re just like an apology from the people that told the lies and the management the store does have good food I like waffle house food I’ve been attending eating in waffle houses all across the country from here to Tucson i’ve never been treated like this in my life only because one or two people did not like me for some reason this needs to be corrected so hopefully the upper management can do something about it defamation of my character and ministry means a lot to me I have waited over six months and not voice my opinion out like this but it needs to be told and it needs to be dealt with sincerely a waffle house regular.“
“For those of you who aren't old enough to remember what a "fish camp" is, this is it! 3rd generation of family ownership. Scratch-made tartar sauce, onion rings slaw and hush puppies. Catfish fillet meal is strips, not a full slab. Still delicious; not greasy, and batter was not over-salty. Service was a slow for the size crowd. Server was managing 4 tables with total of 7 people. Never refilled my drink. Was offered more hush puppies, but they never arrived. Also got the wrong slaw: ordered sweet and received sour. I'll come back for the good. food, but probably lean towards take-out next trip 5 food and 2 star service.“
“Karen was the nicest server ever. We want her to be our Grandma. The bread was so soft and amazing. The SALAD BAR had tons of options, all fresh. Awesome flavors in the food - grill ck with mush and onions and Brunswick stew (light BBQ flavor). Wish they had one close to where I live. What a gem.“
