“Our entire group agreed this was our FAVORITE EATERY IN NORTH CAROLINA!!! The outside seating is so peaceful with trees, birds singing, and flowers. Shady umbrellas were a nice touch. The food was phenomenal, the two of our group who ordered sesame chicken both said It was the best they've ever had. My ahi nachos and sushi roll were delicious, everything was clearly very fresh from the fish to the mango and avocado. Service was great in the beginning, server was super friendly. But they are understaffed like most places so getting the check took much longer than expected. Thankfully we were not in a rush. Would 100% come back next time we visit the area“

“My family and I have been going here for the past 15 years. They‘re consistent and it reminds me of the Chinese back home in Queens, NY. I regret not asking her name but the woman I usually see is so sweet and cheerful. Always greets her customers with a smile and enthusiasm.“

“If you go anywhere else for your Chinese food in Mooresville, You’re making a mistake. My family move to town a year ago, we have literally tried every single Chinese restaurant within 10 miles of here. None of them can compare to this one. Not only is the food delicious. But the place is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the lady at the counter is extremely nice. Every time I come here, she is extremely pleasant. I watched the cooks while waiting on my food and they all look like they To make sure that they do things right and in a very clean way. I love it. This is the only Chinese restaurant I crave right now. Please go. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Not traditional New York style but the BEST we've had since moving here. We've tried many other Chinese restaurants that had favorable ratings but they were very disappointing. I was surprised, though, that Bao Bao charges extra for white rice with the entrees and no crispy noodles are served with the soup. Also, I personally prefer whole spare ribs but the cut ribs in sweet and sour sauce were good. Different, but good. No egg rolls, just spring rolls. The shrimp with walnuts is outstanding!“

“First time trying and I can say that I will be back to try other dishes. Place is small and has tables but limited. It isnt the usual chinese takeout place where there is a huge counter and a couple chairs and a fridge. Maybe one table with menus and business cards on it.I wanted to try beef with mushroom but they didnt have it on their menu. I did ask if they can switch the broccoli with mushroom and they were able to accomodate so I was appreciative of that. I also got egg drop soup. Now the egg drop soup i did not like as much. The egg white were shredded into tiny chunks. I prefer the bigger chunks from most chinese place.The beef was ok. It was not what i was expecting. I prefer the new york style with brown sauce. Not really bad for a take out.“

“There is no other Chinese restaurant that can top Lotus’ Scallion Chicken. We make the drive from Kannapolis on Sundays after church just for the scallion chicken Sunday special. The staff is very friendly and recognizes us even though we come sparingly (although for 30+ years) due to proximity.“

“Randomly Stopped here by chance on the way home, still about an hour out. We originally wanted something quick but decided to sit down to eat. It was around lunch time. The food came out quick and it was delicious. We had the house honey chicken and vegetable lomien and the fried chicken wings. We got lunch specials and the portion size was great. Wish I lived closer. Would definitely stop by if ever in the area.“

“Really enjoyed the food here! It was quick and fresh. The flavors were really great. I got the tofu with vegetables and the tofu was cooked perfectly! The Crab Rangoons were so crispy and yummy. The portion size is really good. Both me and my husband had enough to take home. The atmosphere isn’t like a fancy sit down restaurant or anything, it’s more like a whole in the wall but it’s a good find. They did bring the food to us but other than that they weren’t like waiting on us. They mostly have to-go orders.“

Sesame chicken, kung pow beef, hot and sour soup, and egg drop soup were all tasty and the food was ready extremely quickly, piping hot, and packed generously. Absolutely will return.There's no eat in option which is noted on the entry door as due to staffing shortages.“

“No Fear of this Dragon!There is that tiny Chinese restaurant right in the middle of Northcross Shopping Center in Huntersville and they make a superdelicious Hot and Sour Soup, probably the best in town!We had no chance to try some of their other meals so far but my wife always willingly accepts the drive from our Charlotte residence to buy her favorite soup from Ms Katy's Dragon Express.Swift, friendly service in a clean environment comes together with a sweet smile from Katy, the lovely restaurant owner.We at PHIL'S WORLD TRAVEL happily rate this "tame dragon" five stars and recommend it to our friends and clients.“

Other items we ordered were not up to the mark as we expected.this place is definitely better than the other Chinese takeouts we have in the area.they have sitting area also but small.“

Lost 1 star simply because I ordered cashiew chicken and the cashiews were left off. Everything tasted amazing and was one of the best eggrolls I have eaten. Even without the cashiews my food was great, I just wanted the cashiews. We will definitely be back to try other dishes and to see what the sushi is about. My husband got general tso chicken and was happy with his meal as well. We order from other places and the chicken is overcooked and hard, that was not the case here. Everything was cooked to perfection and very quickly as we walked in and ordered and were on our way within 10 minutes.“
