“My daughter got married at University Presbyterian Church on Franklin Street and was looking for a convenient (within walking distance) place to have a casual "Southern Tea" prior to the rehearsal. We reached out to 1922, who was willing to accommodate us, and started the planning. It turned out REALLY well! Better than we had envisioned it.
We worked with Irmak, who was wonderful! She shared our excitement and worked hard to make it what we wanted. We brought in simple flowers for the tables and our own plates, napkins, and decor for the serving table. The southern pick ups of deviled eggs, chicken and waffles, pimento cheese fritters, and bltas were plentiful and delicious!
The set up worked really well for sitting at the tables and/or for mingling. It was so much fun - a great way to start the wedding weekend festivities.“

“Visited for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back. Right off the bat, the employees were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Our water glasses stayed full and our cocktails were delicious. The food was phenomenal—appetizer, entrées, and dessert. The presentation was lovely and the taste was divine. The Whipped Feta & Fig Crostinis were a surprise hit! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Red Cream Paneer Curry and I couldn’t get enough of the Tagliatelle Pasta Alfredo with Wild Mushrooms and Shiitake Bacon. The ice cream sundae was great, too! It was my first time tasting non-dairy ice cream that actually tastes good! Given the quality and care taken to provide vegan food that is THIS tasty, I think the pricing is fair, especially when compared to other local cafés/bistros/restaurants in the area. Casual, kid-friendly atmosphere, but still nice enough for a date night. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This has become my all-time favorite place to grab a coffee and quick snack. My go-to drink is the iced caramel high rise with oat milk and the blueberry muffin is AMAZING. I absolutely love the staff, they are always so sweet and really quick at getting out drinks. I also really enjoy the atmosphere, super welcoming and cozy. Recently met up with a friend to grab coffee and we both really enjoyed the set up and overall vibes of this coffee shop!!“
“We worked with the Honeysuckle Tea House to host my sister’s Bridal Shower and could not have had a better experience. Sandy was so helpful when planning the event and checking in leading up. Rebecca who worked with us during the event was amazing and truly helped with everything! The space was absolutely beautiful. Neal and team did an amazing job with our grazing table. We were obsessed with the mini cheesecakes and pimento cheese sandwiches but truly everything was delicious! Would certainly have a wedding here.“

“The best thing here is the gelato. It’s super high end. Smoothies >$7 latte >$7. Served in to go cups. Not a ton of natural lighting, but some seating decent for working. The gelato is really nice actually, esp spicy mango.
Some outdoor seating.
I have had their smoothies and one of their lattes, Rocky Mountain latte. I asked for less sweet and it was still too sweet to finish.“

“I tested positive for chronic urticaria last year. I was having bad outbreaks, severe inching, Nothing I did was okay then it progressed to my inability to wear heel shoes. Once I wear heels my feet would swell, and it would trigger a whole body reaction. I started taking steroids, just so I can live a normal life. Everyday I was always breaking out and I didn't like it. The steroid made me gained excess weight. I was able to get a permanent solution from dr festy herbal clinic through a good Samaritan who saw my condition at the supermarket. For these reasons I'll keep sharing my story because I have humanity and love in me. Are you struggling with herpes, autism, HIV, infertility, HPV, and chronic health conditions, including diabetes, certain stages of cancer, arthritis, and anxiety disorders. “LOVE this new Starbucks. They actually practice what they preach and are welcoming and friendly. I witnessed a group get kicked out of the Epilogue cafe across the street because one of the group members had brought in an outside drink - even though most of the group had purchased from Epilogue. Starbucks would never do that. I crossed the street after I saw that at Epilogue and was greeted by a smiling Barista at Starbucks! Yes, I know --- I want to support small businesses but sometimes a corporation like Starbucks shows customers more respect than a small business that kicks out customers.“
“I had never been to this cafe before it turned into the stone and leaf so I have nothing to compare it to. With that being said I thought it was a really nice large place to grab a drink or snack within the student store. It’s a Barnes and noble cafe essentially so expect the same type of cafe. I really liked the outdoor balcony at the end of the cafe. It’s a good spot when the weather is nice. Just be aware that you can access the internet unless you are a student.“

“The drink I ordered was absolutely delicious. The people there were super kind. The chairs are very low, so get your knees ready. Also a divider/barrier between the food and counter would be nice to see as someone who doesn't like people talking and breathing over their food. But overall, sweet spot and I'll be back.“

“Such a cute coffee shop on Franklin Street! There's a lot of space inside to do work or chat with friends. I got a lavender iced latte, which I thought tasted great. It's also the same price for any size drink! The barista was also very nice and helped me pick out coffee beans.“

“We are only giving this 4 stars because of the wait but honestly it was worth the wait! We got there around 9:45 and the line to order moved fairly quickly. Almost all of the inside tables were full but there was some bar seating available and the whole patio was open but it was a little too cool this morning. By the time we left they had posted a sign they were suspending food orders for 30 minutes to catch up and would resume by 11am.
The food made up for it. I’m a stickler for coffee and boy was I more than happy with a plain drip today and I really appreciated that they had simple syrup available at the self service station. My fiance got a mocha that they spared no expense on chocolate! His breakfast burrito looked incredible and he had no complaints and loved the potatoes. I got the Cali Benedict and oh man was it absolutely worth it! Not only did they swap the English muffin for GF toast but it was overflowing with avocado, not stingy at all!
Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options available but always make sure to ask the servers for your own safety as I am not celiac.“
“A little pricey (they focus on local and fair-trade products), but integral to the downtown Carrboro community. They have fresh baked bread, a hot bar, a salad bar, and grab and go. Lots of outdoor seating with live music and community events.“

“Willy’s makes amazing homemade cinnamon rolls, but their cookies that weigh 8lbs and their scones that are light as a great get come as super close second. Not to mention the friendly smile Sami greets everyone.“

“As a local REALTOR, I spend a lot of time discovering eateries which are hidden away and what their specialties may be. The Belted Goat is one such example of THE BEST scones in the Triangle area. I often stop in to pick up a scone and coffee when I need a pick-me-up. Next time you're in or around Fearrington Village, stop in and try one for yourself. Get there early because they do sell out!“
