“I love the food. My favorite is the grilled salmon salad. I also Love the 100 grade rating. I didn’t rate it 5 stars because the lighting is always so dim that it’s hard to read the menu. Also, the bathroom is extremely old so always looks dirty. I only saw one bathroom and that was for both men and women. That is unusual for a restaurant.“

“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“This was my first visit to the Raleigh location on May 28, 2025 with two out of town guests. three diff dishes were ordered..brisket, St. Louis rubbed ribs and burnt ends. The brisket and burnt ends were amazing. The ribs however were dry and tough. The meat certainly did not fall off the bone. I would not recommend the ribs based on this experience.“

“Howling Cow is the perfect mix of education and enjoyment. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and made with milk from cows right on the farm. The Dairy Education Center gives visitors a unique look into how dairy products are made, and the Randleigh Dairy Museum offers interactive exhibits for all ages. The porch with rocking chairs and views of the pastures make it a relaxing stop. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s absolutely worth the visit.“

“The Depot on First has been open since October 2023 and since then has simply excelled as the only fine dining restaurant in the area. I think much of their success is based on the fact they not only maintain consistency in areas such as attention to detail, exceptional customer service and quality culinary experience, they also continue to evolve and adapt to changing tastes, trends, and customer preferences. I enjoy seeing their ongoing tasting and intimate dining events, of which I will have to attend at some point. Another cornerstone of success for many restaurant's is Authenticity, and this Farm-to-table restaurant continues to prioritize authenticity by sourcing quality ingredients directly from local farms and producers. They don't take any shortcuts when it comes to freshly prepared food to save time which is why I will wait patiently in the elegantly decorated intimate, warm and inviting dining room for my entree upon every visit. No Rush! Just me bring me another perfectly prepared old fashioned. Don't hesitate to step outside of the box and try something new on the menu, I am not a fan of porkchops, but I have become a fan of theirs. “I used to go to Gym Tacos very frequently. Their food is really delicious. The place is ok. Not a big fan of it but ok. I think that the Chorizo and Al Pastor may be the tasty ones you should not miss. Be careful with the Serrano pepper, it might be very very spicy. Sometimes you wouldn’t think it’s a Serrano pepper.“

“This very well might be my favorite roaster in the country now (and I've been to a couple hundred). I wish I lived in Raleigh so I could come here all the time. The vibes, mission, causes are all on point. Care and craft goes into their entire process and I was blown away. It's tucked back on a road that's in an industrial area so if you've not been, you have to go. The courtyard is peaceful. Their roasting facility is immaculate and the staff is amazing. 11/10 go check them out!“

“I am so glad they have this location because the last one I visited was Charlotte and was bummed it was so far away! I cannot recommend this place enough, the sushi was phenomenal and especially the “build your own roll” was a wonderful thing to get to try! The decor is very fun, vibe in general is very upbeat, and the server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Will definitely make another visit when I’m in the area.“

“Despite coming in on a whim on a Saturday at 430, I was able to get seated quickly and the waiter appeared soon after.

The food was served quickly and while I had the chefs board, so nothing was cooked, the crostini was crisp and the baguette nicely warmed. I was getting a bourbon flight so I appreciated that there were 2 types of cheese, breads and meats along with spicy pickled vegetables, a kicking Dijon mustard and a sweet preserve. So all in all nice variety.

My waiter was attentive without being annoying, and despite sitting indoors it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. The patio looked nice too I just wanted a chair not a bench.

The whiskey/bourbon menu was extensive featuring American, Scottish, Irish and Japanese options. They also have a section, flight and Wednesday discount for NC distillers.
