“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“This is my favorite stop when I’m in town. The owners and staff are amazing, the service is great, and the food even better! Having a one of a kind vegetarian menu this big is amazing. “This was my first visit to the Raleigh location on May 28, 2025 with two out of town guests. three diff dishes were ordered..brisket, St. Louis rubbed ribs and burnt ends. The brisket and burnt ends were amazing. The ribs however were dry and tough. The meat certainly did not fall off the bone. I would not recommend the ribs based on this experience.“

I am assuming the "howling" part of the name is because this is an NCSU establishment (Wolfpack).

I have had Howling Cow products at other places throughout Raleigh, and this is the first time at the creamery itself. The grounds are wonderful. There is interior seating, but the star here is the back patio, equipped with rocking chairs and the like, with a large grass area overlooking the cows/farmland. Awesome. There are several creameries throughout NC that have a farmland type view, but the patio does it for me.

I've tried several items from HC. As far as flavors, cherry vanilla and almond butter stand out to me. I had a sundae this go-round, Fireside Brownie Sundae. It had a warm brownie, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and ice cream. They are extremely rich. They offer splits, several cup and cone options, shakes, and pretty much anything ice cream related. Has a bunch of toppings to make whatever concoction you want. I really enjoy the two aforementioned ice cream flavors and like this over everything else sampled. You can also purchase bottled drinks, t-shirts, and other dairy products.

Expect plenty of patrons, a line that usually moved fairly quickly, and ample staff to handle it all. HC does NOT take cash, and I actually love this aspect.

“A real winner! We stumbled upon this place after looking for somewhere new to eat since Prime BBQ had closed early. I didn't realize it was a food truck with an open patio and Latin music playing at the back of Prime BBQ. Their Latin cuisine is more Puerto Rican/Cuban style. Meaning the tacos are kind of standalone meals (1 is enough for some, 2 should fill up most people).

I had the Lechon taco which was perfectly juicy tender third of a pound of meat with tangy sauce on a tasty tortilla. I initially also split the queso with chorizo with my husband. He had a respectable Cuban sandwich with phenomenal tostones on the side. Everything was well seasoned and delectable.

After a few minutes to digest we went back for our second round of food. I ordered myself another lechon taco to go (to enjoy the next day, and can confirm it reheats wonderfully), in some of the most delicious crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside churros with chocolate drizzle and sweet perfectly balanced dipping sauce. I normally don't like tostones and prefer sweet plantains exclusively, but a taste of my husband's salty, crispy tostones paired with a perfect dipping sauce made me get my own order for the first time of my life!

I'm very picky about my Latin food as a native New Yorker whose best friend is Mexican, but Primo Latin Cuisine is a definite winner!

“This place still feels relatively trendy, even though it's been open for years. Our appetizer, the nachos with ahi, was simply amazing. The sushi itself was good. And we were there on a Wednesday, which was half price bottles of wine, a nice surprise, indeed. Our server was friendly, bubbly, and very attentive. Overall, a really good experience!“

“My wife and I stopped by prior to attending a concert. We often like to visit independent establishments rather than chain restaurants. The location is in a nice quiet area. The place is clean and the staff was very friendly. The food menu was really good and the beer list was great as well. We sat inside, but there was plenty of outdoor seating as well. Definitely, would visit this location again and recommend this to anyone who's looking for a nice little brewery with food options.“

“Despite coming in on a whim on a Saturday at 430, I was able to get seated quickly and the waiter appeared soon after.

The food was served quickly and while I had the chefs board, so nothing was cooked, the crostini was crisp and the baguette nicely warmed. I was getting a bourbon flight so I appreciated that there were 2 types of cheese, breads and meats along with spicy pickled vegetables, a kicking Dijon mustard and a sweet preserve. So all in all nice variety.

My waiter was attentive without being annoying, and despite sitting indoors it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. The patio looked nice too I just wanted a chair not a bench.

The whiskey/bourbon menu was extensive featuring American, Scottish, Irish and Japanese options. They also have a section, flight and Wednesday discount for NC distillers.

“I recently moved to the area so I went in for a loaf of sourdough and a blueberry cake and croissant while I was at it. Quick and easy service even when busy.

Best part is that they are prepared when you order them, not just sitting on display. Worth the wait!“

“Apparently the food is good but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t get the owners/ crew to call me about my order. I was told multiple times, “I will call you back”. I was even told to send the menu I desired. It was my daughter’s first birthday and I needed a caterer. Customer service is important but clearly that is not Corner Boys priority.

Every Wednesday, the owner Johnny whips up a new limited edition "Weiner Wednesday" hot dog recipe. I've had so much fun trying the new recipes and I try to go every week. They even keep my beverage of choice in the keg fridge behind the counter so there's always a cold one when I get there!

This week, I was sadly unable to go to Weenie Wednesday because I've got COVID. Johnny noticed, messaged me, and delivered my usual order - along with a special Weenie Wednesday hot dog - right to my door.
