“Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and craft beer on tap! My family and I love this place. My only complaint would be that last time we were here, someone at the table next to us had a dog in a tote bag that was most definitely NOT a service animal. Not one staff member said anything to her. This is a problem for me as I suffer from severe animal allergies. In addition, I don’t feel it is sanitary to bring animals in an establishment where food is being sold/served. Like I said, we love this place, but if this becomes a habit we will have to find another place to go. ☹️“

“I thought I would never again taste food like my Aunt Hattie made it, but today a friend took me to University Kitchen for lunch, and I had green beans, stewed cabbage, fried chicken livers, and cornbread. It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. “Omg so I decided to try this place after it was recommended by a friend, let me just say I’ll be back for lunch tomorrow and bringing home extra! The lady who took my order was also very sweet, she listed all the sides for me and their was so many I didn’t want to make her repeat them all again so I found a menu and chose from there. I’m not a fan of pork fatback cabbages so the spicy cabbages they had were mmm so good, the greens were tangy just how I like and the Mac and cheese don’t get me started on that, I just about ate my whole serving before I pulled out of the parking spot and almost turned back for more, I can’t wait to come back and try more of their food! Don’t forget to wash it down with their lemonade which is just how I like it sweet! If they were open later I’d come back today with my family for dinner! They don’t disappoint!“

“If you don't eat the buffet, you can order off the menu. The salmon patties, meatloaf, and more are delicious. As with the buffets, the service is always wonderful, friendly, and very attentive. You won't have to wait to have drinks, iced tea, and coffee refilled. It's an overall pleasant dining experience.“

Very moist just needs more smoke . Only suggestions I could make is change your fries they were not good . Crinkles would be so much better . But I will return lots. And the sauce was banging good“

“I love this place. I learned about it a few years in Our State. I have been going here every since. The staff is very friendly. Dennis is so nice. I have to have my chicken wings, even if I get the fried fish, I still have to get a least one chicken wing. I will be going back again tomorrow. I have to get some potatoe salad for my Mom. She loves it. The breakfast is great. They get you a nice portion. I live in Greensboro,but I'm in high point a lot, so that's my favorite restaurant there. The guy that takes us order is my buddy. “We usually get a turkey from this Honey Baked Ham location for every holiday, and they have never let us down. The quality is always top-notch, and it’s become a tradition we look forward to every year.

I recently started trying their roasted turkey sandwich for lunch, and wow—it is soooo good. I honestly could eat it every day. I know some people gripe about the price, but for me, the quality of the ingredients, the portion size, and the overall deliciousness make it totally worth it. Highly recommend!“

The place was extremely clean. And the young man at the counter, taking our order was very polite and friendly.
Our food came out fast.
I got a cheeseburger and it was yummy! Fixed exactly the way I asked. It was hot and juicy. Definitely would order one again. I also got a side of white gravy. It was good! Tasted like what my mom used to made.
My friend ordered a breakfast platter...scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and a biscuit. It was good, except for the eggs. They were rubbery/overcooked. Didn't finish them.
And we got the apple pie. Holy moly! Those are delicious!
