“I have to drive past Fortnight Brewing every night, and I spend a lot of time at TRC in Raleigh. Any time I see the sign for Merkato, we cancel any pre-existing plans. Hands down the best food truck. Nothing on the menu will leave you wishing you got something else. On top of the food, they are the sweetest, most wholesome and friendly people I have ever met. This is the type of business you will always feel good supporting.“

“Food was delicious, hot and fresh! The service was great, very welcoming and friendly. It was a nice day so we were able to eat outside. Generous portions, very filling! We ordered chorizo, al pastor, and carnitas chicharrones with chips and guacamole and a side of rice. We will probably skip the rice next time. I also got a pineapple agua fresca, and it was HUGE! Very good, but also very sweet. The guacamole was amazing! We will definitely be coming back!“

“I'm a truck driver who has been delivering to that compare foods for a long time. Before David set up shop in the parking lot I would get my lunch either at an Indian restaurant or a sushi place earlier on my route. Then I tried his wings and fries and let me tell you, they are for sure the best buffalo wings I've ever eaten. Now I eat there every other Thursday without fail. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The fries are seasoned and crispy, the ranch is delicious (I always get extra for the fries), the okra and corn nuggets are also phenomenal. Great fried catfish too! Not only that but David and his lovely family, who are often there helping, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. Often I don't have time to hang out and I'll call ahead and he'll have the order ready for me to grab and go by the time I get there. I can't rate this place highly enough, my favorite food truck in the triangle!“
