“I went there tonight 3/9/24 and ordered Steak and Chicken Fajita, and my partner ordered Fajita Chicken Taco Salad. We were seated promptly very happy with the portions. I just wanted to say looking for Mexican food. This would be a place I suggest.“

“Food was great. A lot but it’s always nice bringing home leftovers. Suggestion to get rid of stroform cups to decrease expense and less waste plus having customers take too much. Possibly get a different kind of paperfor to go items for the food that is strurdy and biodegradable. Suggestion to put garbage and plates station in the middle between the dishwasher and out doors for ease the action that focuses on getting dishes to the washer and for the garbage that goes out the door. Smart thinking about keeping garbage open so that it may not need to be washed so much. Thank you kindly.“

“Absolutely love this place! I love the cauliflower tacos, veggie enchiladas and chile relleno. My partner loves the fish, salmon and shrimp tacos, and the breakfast burritos. The family that runs it are very friendly and everything is made fresh to order.“

“I had breakfast Sunday morning at Abuela's Little Kitchen in Arden on Long Shoals Rd. "Abuela" means grandmother in Spanish and it felt like she was in the kitchen cooking! The food was wonderful and the service was exceptionally good! My server came immediately after I was seated and at all the appropriate intervals. She was pleasant and checked to see if everything was okay after I ate a couple of bites of food. The owner came by to see if I enjoyed my breakfast. All of the booths were full and the restaurant was fairly busy. They are open 7am-3pm and serve breakfast and lunch. There are a lot of choices with a Mexican flare, as well as American traditional items, like bacon eggs, grits, pancakes and French toast. I ordered Abuela's Sweet Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon and home potatoes with a choice of pancakes, French toast or crepes. It was delicious! I also had coffee. The owners have also introduced a new concept called Abuela's Cravings down the road at 200 Julian Lane, with Mexican street food, tacos, tortas, burritos and more. Open 11am-8pm. I can't wait to try it!“

“Stopped here on our drive thru the area for a quick lunch. The tacos Al pastor were good and my husband enjoyed his steak burrito. Cheese quesadilla was good for the little one. Yummy authentic Mexican food if that’s what you’re craving. 2 tacos were very filling. Only complaint is the outside seating area (picnic tables) had a lot of trash and bottle caps laying around… an easy fix to up the atmosphere.“

“Incredible food! They literally make the tortillas when you order using a giant press and then throw them on the flattop! The meat was super flavorful and tender. Plus my burrito was very well made with an even distribution of meat and beans and cheese, which meant every bite was maximum yum! This burrito rivals ones I've had in Colorado and California. Highly highly recommend!“

“WE have always had great service here and unlike one review ( which was probably a competitor) the owners and staff have always been extremely helpful and polite. When my wife calls ahead, they recognize her voice and ask if she wants the regular, which for us has been the sopes. We have taken many family members here and just hung out at their tables and eaten and reordered until we can't eat any more. Great place“

As was the pollo, asada and al pastor. The red side sauce was brilliant. If you are hungry stop here and get your taco fix. It will not disappoint and now I know why it has such high reviews. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT FOOD! I live in Southern California, about 2 hours from Mexico... I'm pretty familiar with amazing Mexican food!And @Joe K who gave one star, complained about no bathroom, limited parking, no seating? ITS A TACO TRUCK... And one of the best I've ever eaten at. Unreal... LOL And the meat was not even close to double grilled... Go back to Taco Bell where they have all the seating you want, tons of parking, lots of toilets... and tacos made with 49% meat that taste like cardboard. Sounds like the place for you!“

“We visit this flea market three times a year. (whenever we are here from Florida). What I enjoy most is the garage sale section. It's a great place to find that bargain thing that you need for the house, car, boat, whatever. Parking can be a challenge but just go around back if the front is full. Besides, it's free. I have to pay a buck to park in Florida.“
