“First of all, what a cool, fun atmosphere. From the second you pull up, you can tell it's going to be a fun place to be! My father (77) and I (33) had lunch there today and we both enjoyed it. We were sitting near the volcano room and when it erupted, the lights over our table changed color. Like, how fun! Also, the playlist was so good! Kudos to whoever picks the music. The crab puppies are a MUST. So full of crab meat, the visit would have been worth it for those alone. I got the White Trash Burger, and usually when it comes to burgers, I'll eat half and then take the meat off and eat the bun alone (carb girly for life). This was so good, I finished it all. So juicy and flavorful! My dad got a hot dog (something 500, I can't remember) and he said it was great as well. Get the house chips, you won't regret it. They're thin and crispy, and the ranch just elevates them! We had multiple servers come make sure we were good throughout the meal, loved the teamwork! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! “Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with our friends. The restaurant is in an older antique home in Huntersville close to the highway. We were greeted at the door by the host/owners very friendly and sat with our group of seven in a small very private area ( as are most) in a series of dining rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable chairs. Our hostess immediately came over and took our drink order. There was a large selection of wines by both glass and bottle and both cocktails and regular beverages served from a large bar at the rear of the restaurant. The menu selections were wide and varied and the hostess informed us of three additional special entrees for the evening . For appetizers we ordered garlic bread with a traditional dipping oil and calamari with red sauce both were great . All the entrees were served together and were the best Italian food we have tasted outside of Italy anywhere. A lot of there sauces , desserts and breads are made on premises. There was water goblets as soon as we arrived at the table. Service was excellent, food was delicious and remarkable. Would not hesitate to go back. Prices were outstanding . Last visit, I had the lunch portion around 2PM Chicken Capricioso and the chicken was tough, barely any artichoke. This review was more of a heads up to the kitchen. I was kind on the “4” rating for the dish, as your dishes are typically wonderful. Also, our waiter was too busy socializing to notice the needs of his other customers.“

“I love their chicken salad. I was so disappointed when they took it off their menu. The last time I was there I. asked the manager about it. He said they now run it as a special every other week. And to call each week to see if it was a special well today was my lucky day! I called and it was on special! I have to say I was disappointed when I saw they had cut back on the portion size and cost had gone up. But I wanted it that bad and paid the price! It was still as good as ever. “These folks are listed out of Huntersville, but they travel, and I, for one, am extremely grateful for their mobility.They have 2 enormous smokers, and they most definitely know how to use them.Turkey wings, legs, chicken, BBQ, etc. I could go on and on, but I included a close-up shot of their menu for you to look over yourself.They are located on Statesville Ave on Fridays. Right across from the Shell gas station and right next door to Jerry's grocery store in a huge gravel filled lot. There is plenty of room for parking and some picnic tables to sit at as well.The sweet tea is Southern, and the Q is definitely on point, with their own sauce, not quite all Eastern NC style and not quite all Western NC style, but a nice crossover. Loved the potato salad, and the turkey leg was smoked to absolute perfection. You can literally taste the infusion of smokiness in each and every single bite. My co-worker ordered a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries and said they were a big hit as well. The burger actually covered the entire bun. The first bite shattered the very fabric of my reality, unleashing a chorus of angels who harmonized in crispy, golden perfection as my taste buds ascended to a higher plane of existence. “First time visiting this location of Red Rocks. Saturday afternoon was very attentive. No seating inside at time of visit so was seated outdoors.. which we didn’t mind. Server was respectful and polite. Only problems was ALLLL THE FLIES. Fans were circulating above but not really near tables to serve any purpose other than moving air. Owner/manager greeted everyone which was very nice. But you really got to see what can be done with flies… you could barely get food on your fork up to your mouth before they were all over your plate or trying to get to the fork. That made for an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never ate on any restaurants outdoor area and flies were that bad.“

“Exceptional Dining Experience at Que Onda Original!

We'd heard rave reviews about the original Que Onda restaurant, and our curiosity was piqued. Although we'd tried many of their dishes at other locations, we were eager to explore new options. The birria torta and birria ramen exceeded our expectations. The generous serving of tender, juicy meat was perfectly seasoned. The drinks were also very amazing and thirst quenching.

What truly stood out, however, was the restaurant's warm and inviting atmosphere. Even though this is the oldest Que Onda restaurant, it still holds its own homey charm - a true testament to the owners and manager's dedication to preserving its authentic character.

We'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend trying their unique dishes. Service and quality were top-notch!“

Three of the employees noticed I had been waiting too long in the pick-up spot and came out to check on me. We found my order in FLA, they had it transferred and filled within five minutes. “I placed a take-away order online. When I arrived, my order was ready in the timeframe specified. The order was correct. The food was of good quality and fresh. It was overly greasy or overcooked, as is often the case with many Chinese takeout restaurants.

“Just want to shout out Jet’s pizza...I (like apparently ever other human in the area) called multiple places this afternoon for a pizza delivery a few hours ahead of when I wanted it, and Jet’s was the third try that could actually do the time I wanted the pizza to arrive. The time came and passed so I called 15 minutes after it was due to ask for an update. I was told that my order hadn’t been assigned to a driver because they got really backed up but it would be out ASAP. I was bummed since we had trick or treat to get crackin on, but I just said “ok thank you” and hung up and told the kids we would play it by ear for adjusted plans around when food got here. Just before 6:00, I get a call from Jet’s profusely apologizing, telling me a fresh pizza order would be to me shortly and my card would not be charged. My pizza arrived perfectly hot and fresh not long after, and my kids still got a full night of trick or treat in...just wanted to shout out Jet’s for this above and beyond gesture as I had NO expectation for such a thing, knowing how crazy all the pizza joints were tonight (10/31/20)“

Service is always great, order is always correct, and the online ordering is very convenient. They are quick too!“

“If you want a casual meal out, Yoshi's is the place to go. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff are friendly and relaxed. The quick service to order at the counter and either sit down and wait or takeout is on point.

Pricing is just right and I am always excited to try new sushi rolls and items on the menu. The panfryed gyoza is savoring and a wonderful appetizer.

“We came for my mom’s birthday and we absolutely loved it. We had hot tea to start and ended up getting a couple of dishes so that we can eat family style.
We ordered mixed vegetables, Chinese eggplant, moo shu chicken and chicken chow fun. Everything was delicious.

The mixed vegetable were fresh and crunchy/crispy. You can tell these veggies were cooked in a wok because they were not soggy even though they were tossed in a delicious brown sauce. This was the highlight of our meal and it came with white rice which we enjoyed. The Chinese eggplant was delicious as well and was really great with the chili oil that they provided.

We will certainly be back again as the food was absolutely delicious and NOT oily/greasy like most Chinese restaraunts are.“

“My sisters & I stopped in on July 11, 2023. Super friendly staff. Our waitress was so sweet & the entire staff was friendly to us. We’re from Texas, so we don’t have many Waffle House restaurants in our area. Food was ok, but the friendly service was 5 star!“
