“Great service, chicken wings were awesome, but the #7 burger was not a smash burger as advertised. The burger was huge and no crispy edges like a real smash burger. The chips were too thick and not fried hard like chips should be. Other than those two flaws the place could easily be 5 stars, but just my opinion.“

The Duck fat fries were great, and the mushroom and Swiss was one of the best I've had, and if you enjoy Brussel sprouts as much as I do, you are in for a treat! “Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

“My husband and I had the pleasure to attend my cousin’s reception held at JH Adam’s Inn/Cristina Gray’s Restaurant & Bar Friday evening. We stayed on the property as well and found the check in process to be quick and easy, ALL of the staff were friendly and accommodating! Our room was very well stocked and clean!! As my aunt said, it is a hidden gem of High Point and it comes highly recommended!!“

“I thought I would never again taste food like my Aunt Hattie made it, but today a friend took me to University Kitchen for lunch, and I had green beans, stewed cabbage, fried chicken livers, and cornbread. It was like going back in time to my Aunt Hattie's kitchen and once again tasting good old country cooking at its best. They have managed to keep those great vintage recipes alive, and I now have a new favorite restaurant. Everyone who worked there was amiable and on top of service. It was great!“

The staff were welcoming and friendly! The vibe of the restaurant was cool! I can’t praise the place enough for the amount of food selections they have. So many entrees to pick from! Loved all our choices. Wished we had been able to stay longer in Greensboro because would have definitely eaten here every time! a great place for vegans and non vegans to eat!“

The service can generally be okay, but 1 bartender really needed to suck it up and be less attitudinal and impatient with another patron on the last visit. As a witness to the whole situation, she definitely was not being hospitable or attentive to some patrons. I get it. All of us have stressful days, but you have to leave it behind for each new customer and show your best face because it isn't for you (other than tips) but for the business.“

“What started as a $4.15 Happy Meal on a road trip the day after Christmas, proceeding to hungry and very angry parents late at night after several other restaurants ended up being closed or refusing to serve walk-in customers, ended with a $40 meal and the angel at the Jake’s Diner drive-thru. I don’t actually know what’s on the menu, and honestly, they probably could’ve served Lunchables and I’d have still given them a four star review. Thank you for being open late the night after Christmas, thank you to the nice girl at the window for simply wanted 3 chicken sandwiches and fries, one spicy, and making it happen. The food was great, the service was quick, and you saved our night.“

I kept thinking, I could have gone to Publix and gotten a better sub that would have been $3 cheaper. Only took 10 minutes to get downtown all weekend which was nice. Parking was great, you can park on whatever side of the property you are staying on. Would stay again!“
