“I've been passing this place for years. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to stop for breakfast this time! It was surprisingly very good. They even have avocado toast!I ended up doing the regular breakfast with two eggs, bacon, toast, and hash brown casserole. The eggs were quite tasty with a generous amount of pepper. I really liked the bacon, it had a good smokey flavor. The hashbrown casserole was delicious, hot and cheesy. We shared a fruit bowl that was quite large and super fresh tasting.Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. And the coffee was spot on!I will definitely be back!“
“I don't travel much but when we do we love eating in mom and pops shops and I personally must say this one was one of the best Dinners I have ever had , Fresh nice size biscuit and gravy , home fries was amazing and flavorfull , I am very picky with restaurants coffee but their coffee was really good I took one to go . What an amazing experience I love food and this a place I would recommend great service great people and amazing food.“
“This is hands down one of my favorite little restaurants! I’m so glad Sapphire has Micas! They have a nice covered outdoor seating area and even a little cool fire pit area. The indoor seating options are very nice too. There is a little fireplace inside. Their food has always been amazing, every time I have dinned here. The staff and anyone I have had serving or seating has always been attentive and friendly! I love how many different options they have. The fried Shrimp platter and any of their pizzas are great options! Their steak is always wonderful as well. Check them out!“
“This was my first visit to SlopeSide Tavern, although I live close by. My friend, Lisa and I stopped in for lunch and I was completely amazed at the quality of the food. I had the French dip sandwich and some of the best fries ever. The sandwich was excellent as well. I stopped in again and the sandwich was not on the menu, but the tacos were fantastic. My husband raved about the tomato soup.“
“We have been going to the FIX since the first night it opened. The food is excellent and never disappoints! The serving staff, the kitchen and Miss Erica are superb and so easy to love! This is not my first review of the FIX, but I just had to update my review!“
“The service here is excellent. They have a new chef, and the menu has changed completely in the last few months. Shannon was a wonderful server: friendly and efficient. We went in on an off-season afternoon for a very early dinner, hungry from hiking all day. We ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, which was very good and cooked perfectly. Hubby ordered the sea bas and loved it. I was torn between the duck confit and squid ink linguine, and seriously wish I had chosen the linguini, but unfortunately, I chose wrongly. The duck was dried and overcooked, and tasted old. Such a disappointment, as our server said it was supposed to be really good. The 4 stars is because everything else was very good. Recommend this place but skip the duck.“
“We found this spot from a Google search while staying at an AirBNB at Toxaway Falls which is only about a mile away. We went for brunch on Sunday and it was perfect for what we wanted. Only a few folks dining at that time we visited but service was still a bit slow. But no need to be in a hurry while enjoying this quaint spot. I had the eggs benedict with pork belly and it was great. Also enjoyed a couple bloody mary's. The grounds around the restaurant are spacious and we enjoyed walking around after lunch and across the street to get some pictures of the lake. There are large rocking chairs out front also which would be great to have a drink before dinner. The restaurant itself has a low ceiling warm log cabin feel which is cozy. My wife and I will definitely try to stop by for dinner on our next trip up. What a great find just a few minutes off the main road.“
