“Food was good, I want to try a few other things! The mac n cheese was SO good & the chicken tenders were great. The grilled chicken & steak in our salads were not amazing but it's the meat of a salad so not much to look for there.
Waiter was super nice & surprised our son with free dessert!“

“Their layout is maximized for seating but it feels cramped no matter where you sit. It's a good business decision to make it so people werent waiting long for open seating, it just takes away from the experience slightly.
Ribs are very good here. Steak wasn't the worst I've had but won't order one again. Overall it was fine“

“We just had the best experience at midwood smokehouse! Super family friendly. The server (I can’t recall her name but she was the one who was closing) was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!“

“Fresh food, locally sourced, large menu— can’t go wrong, everything’s delicious! Great for couples, families (kids). We’ve been several times and always had phenomenal service and a delicious meal (Bbq, wings, favorite starter’s *bacon wrapped jalapeños, and best coleslaw ever!“

“Absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner we ordered! Staff helped me load to my car and it was ready when I arrived. The Turkey was smoked and my whole family loved it. The sides were very delicious as well, a lot better than what you get at the grocery store. I loved the sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce the best. Tastes homemade and absolutely amazing!! Thank you!!“

“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“Not the Macs I'm used to. I only had the cup of dumpling whatever and it was HORRIBLE! If there were dumplings in there, I have a problem. SAW NO DUMPLINGS and TASTED NO DUMPLINGS. I could feel the powdery substance. It didn't have time to thoroughly cook.
I will still recommend Macs and go back myself ! We Love noda!“

“Sweet Lew's did not disappoint. While visiting my BFF, I decided this trip I wanted N.C Barbecue. After searching & comparing reviews we decided to try Sweet Lew's and it did not disappoint. We both had "The Sampler." I'm not a beef eater. Although, I found the brisket a tad bit dry, when drizzled with Sweet Lew's Brisket Sauce it made it enjoyable. The ribs were juicy and cooked to perfection. I tried my friends Red Coleslaw, not knowing what to expect, was the bomb. The meat was dry-rubbed with sides of Barbecue Sauce, which were vinegar base, but not overwhelming so. Overall, we really enjoyed our meals, so much that I purchased a chicken dinner to go for the next day and look forward to returning.“

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted. The gentleman at the register was very helpful in explaining the menu options and what suited a group of 4. The family pack was portioned well and more than enough food for the price. They brought out the food and were all very friendly. The ribs and pulled pork were delicious. The potato salad was perfect and the peach cobbler was still hot with great flavor and texture. I just wish they had more drink options. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. Overall a great experience!“

“This is HANDS-DOWN THE BEST BBQ AROUND!!! Perfect bark on the pulled pork and smokey flavor. Great chicken, amazing brisket and the most tender, delicious fall off the bone ribs you will find. When I lived closer I would go 3-4 times per week and would literally have dreams about the bbq because the smoke smell would be in my hair and id be smelling it on my pillow as i sleep. I’d wake up craving the stuff 🤣 I even had them cater my wedding! Great pricing!!! This is not only the BEST BBQ around, these guys are just truly awesome people and a family business. Give them a try, your mouth will water for days 😎“

“This place is hands down the best Korean BBQ place in Charlotte. If you want a server who is knowledgeable and cares about his patrons, Amadeo, is your guy. He helped picked out our menu and had wonderful recommendations. He made small talk at our table and we will be back because of his wonderful professionalism and manners. “I don’t usually leave reviews but the food we got Friday was so unbelievably delicious I had to. The ribs are smoked perfectly and the meat is so tender, falls off the bone and practically melts in your mouth. Their baked beans are so yummy and the potato salad! 💯 The potato salad is the closest to tasting like my Grandmas that I have ever been able to find. We will eagerly be waiting for the truck to be in Waxhaw again!!!!“
