“Wow. First off service was very southern and hospitable. The waitress made an effort to check in and give suggestions as it was out first time. She even went over the different sauces that were on the table! The food was great as well. Our appetizer was the chicarrons and they were still sizzlings, so extra pints on that. We got a meat bbq platter and the salmon meal. Both had their fare share of salt but I enjoyed the experience of North Carolina bbq. The aesthetic of the restaurant also makes this place memorable. You have the history in the building and nice spot in the center of town.“
“Got the Sandwich + Wing combo for 11.50 and it was a really good deal with one side and drink. The wings were HUGE and I got the spicy sauce and it was was super flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good but I tried my moms pulled chicken and it was awesome so I'm definitely getting that next time. I also got the wedges and they were good but we also got the hush puppies, banana pudding and Mac n cheese and they were all 9/10+. Definitely coming back soon.“
“Our server had the nastiest attitude. We just wanted to grab a few drinks and ordered appetizers since the weather was nice we were not hungry but thirsty. She rushed us out while there were empty tables outside and my buddy asked for a beer and the waiter was like "aaaahhhumm okay"..lady if we were hampering the business we would have left, but there was empty chairs. Did not feel welcome there at all by her. Will give it another chance, but the server needs to work on her attitude. You are welcome for the tip by the way whoever you are. You did not deserve any tips but its okay. Just do a better job next time please.We were having a great time till you ruined it in the end. We would have got 3 more beers each between the three of us before we decided "guess she wants us out" .“
“This is some next level fried chicken in kombucha rice if I’m saying that right but I’ll be so glad when they put one on the west side so they can take over. “Food and customer service are great. Keep in mind that if you're coming with a large group, then you must arrive together to eat at the same time. Otherwise, they're very strict about not letting you get a table or order anything until everyone's arrived. I wouldn't recommend doing your birthday here because on my birthday all they did was give me a moon pie, which I thought was terrible. If you want a really sweet birthday, go to KPOT Korean BBQ and Hotpot because there the staff literally will come with a lit up sign, pastry, and enthusiastically sing for you, which we witnessed.Parking: Depending on what day/time you come here, parking can be a pain.“
“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! We ordered enough, but people went back for 2nd & 3rds! Banana pudding was the “excellent” cherry on top! They are our favorite BBQ place in town, especially the Brisket!!!“

“Great people drove 70 miles to try and was very satisfied with the food. Smoked fresh daily and also they have a blazing wing challenge that was like a volcano erupting on your pallet. But hey concord it! Got my shirt and will be back to visit. Should be a place you visit soon before everyone finds out about it and you can't get in the door.“
“We LOVE Texas Road House but stopped going because it is so noisy you can't hear yourself talk. Tried it today for lunch (got there when they first opened) and it was AMAZING! Mary was our waitress and if I could give her 50 stars I would. She was that good and in fact, she was the best waitress we have EVER had and made the whole experience perfect! The steaks were absolutely perfect as were the sides. I just wish they had a closed off area for people who hate the loud music.“

“Saint Pat's day was a moment. To see all the staff celebrating the holiday was exciting. Our waitress was so helpful in helping us choose our meal. Her little self was so friendly. The bathroom was clean, and you don't see that often at other restaurants. Now I have to honestly say the Mamosa was just Orange juice. But we didn't complain due to the good service we had overall.“

“Not just a food truck! The restaurant is in Hemby Bridge. Wish I had known about it when it was in downtown Monroe.Stopped by to try it out last evening. By far the best BBQ and ribs I've had in NC. I had pulled pork and ribs, tater salad and slaw. The meat was cooked to perfection, moist and tender. The sweet sauce is a perfect compliment to the meat though it doesn't really need sauce. The tater salad was deliciously to die for, wish I could make it like that. The slaw she makes her own mayo based mixture and it is right tasty as well. Portions are generous...think generous not glutton lol. Owners were there and were really personable outgoing folks. I will be back soon and will make another review on whatever I eat then. Note..I did not make a happy plate took some home. The picture of my plate there is pulled pork under those ribs.“
“This place is the best BBQ joint I’ve been to in the Charlotte area. The food and service are next level. And they keep a beer trough full of ice cold beer. I’ve lived in Texas for the last 5 years, and can honestly say this place beats out any Texas BBQ joint I went to during that time.“
“Had lunch here and it was a pleasant experience. Being a Tuesday it was a ribs special day. You can buy individual ribs (1 bone) for a discounted price. I had a hard time deciding what to get as the menu was enticing and I wanted to try it all. The people at the counter were helpful and once I placed my order it was just a few minutes before it was ready. They have about 4 BBQ sauces that you can choose from and there is a menu board that describes the differences between them. I enjoyed the chicken and ribs. I had the greens and mac n cheese on the side - not my favorites. I also had a taste of the brisket - excellent!!“

“We had a good experience at the restaurant. Our server was great and even though we were told there would be a 40 minute wait, we were seated in about 10 minutes. I think the restaurant was short staffed because several of the tables and the floors underneath were not cleaned. However, we were served and taken care of very well by our server and in a very good amount of time. We had a great experience overall.“
“I called to get lunch catered at the last minute for a business meeting of 15 people. The owner was so courteous and was more than happy to accommodate. The lunch meeting was a big success thanks to the bbq! Everyone said the food was fabulous and plentiful! I will definitely contact them again for my catering requests and will also dine at the restaurant with my family. I had grabbed a barbecue sandwich to go once when I was in the area after they initially opened, and it was delicious!“
