“This month marks 70 years since I walked into the Roast Grill and George’s grandfather made my first Roast Grill hot dog - August 1955. I continue to stop by regularly for my 70 year Roast Grill addiction. George, I expect to be there when you serve your last Roast Grill Hot Weiner. -Robert Roberson“

“Steve’s Place is that hidden gem you don’t play about. Every time I stop in for a Taylor ham, egg & cheese, it feels like I’m back home in New Jersey. The food is always fresh, the vibes are friendly, and the service is quick — exactly what you want in a breakfast spot. If you need a real, comforting meal that hits every time, Steve’s is the place.“

“Several years ago I tried and then purchased several bags of their Pop Snacks. While you can add hummus, peanut butter, etc to them, I love to snack on them without any toppings when I get the munchies while working. Guilt free snack at only 15 calories a “pop”! After reading other reviews, sounds like there are lots of other healthy options to try as well!“

“Sean’s Shack is hands-down serving the BEST burger I’ve had anywhere in Raleigh and that’s saying something! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, cooked to absolute perfection, and stacked with fresh toppings that actually taste like they were picked just for my order. Every bite was pure magic. Friendly service, great vibes, and food that makes you want to come back the next day (and the day after that). If you’re in Raleigh and you love burgers, stop what you’re doing and get to Sean’s Shack. You can thank me later.“

“Best Hot Dogs on the Block! Burgers and Chicken Pastry's were amazing as well! Must stop in and check out the food and atmosphere!“

“Old School - Fill out you order request, drop it in the slot, wait until the loudspeaker announces your order is ready (usually a few minutes) and enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries like they were before the fast-food chain made them flavorless. Hot dogs sagging under a blanket of chili and onions and French fries that are not matchstick thin are the reward for going “old school.”“

“My husband and I participated in a group motorcycle ride and we ended here to enjoy a sweet treat. Staff worked quickly to provide service to everyone. The made a mistake with my order but when I pointed out they quickly corrected the problem, making me a new custard. They do not skimp on the toppings at all. I had nits with every bite. There is a fountain out front and a number of sitting areas. There is a good size parking lot which was able to accommodate all of our bikes“

“Food is great. Fresh burgers, service was under par on our visit. The order printout was correct but when the order came we were short. By the time you order a burger, fries and drink the cost is just under $20/ person. Can't beat the tastiness though.“

“My wife and I had a craving for burgers to go with chili on them. I ordered one regular burger Cook Out style and one regular burger tray with fries and onion rings. The fries and onion rings were good. The burgers were really good. The banana pudding shake was one of the most amazing desserts ever, which we shared nicely. The only reason that I gave the atmosphere a "4" is because it is tough waiting in the drive through lane smelling all the good food while waiting for my food to be made. Thanks Cook Out!“

“This cookout can be kind of hit or miss just depending on when you go. However, when they are on the food is fast and hot and usually all correct and that's exactly what I hope to get from cookout, the late night clutch. As always, will go again. To pretty much any cookout 😂 ¤“

“The burgers are great but they have the best fries ever. Fresh cut and blanched then fried. Their fries are meal in itself.“

“So I have been to quite a few cook outs but the worst is New Bern ave in Raleigh. The second worst is the one off of south saunders I believe it is. The food is delicious but the customer service sucked. The food can be overcooked sometimes.“
